McD has to challenge that spot. WTF? -

Plus, if you’re a player handled with kid gloves during the preseason and never have any meaningful contact, that first hit has to really suck. -
Can we get a link to the Peter Pan guy so we can really amp things up here?

This must be close to the longest half of football in NFL history. -

The fringe guys are the ones who are playing poorly and losing. -
OK. Let’s pretend the Bills lose to KC again on a few key plays that players made obvious mistakes — Josh throws a pick six… James Cook fumbles the ball on the 3 yard line… Christian Benford gets beat one on one for a TD. Are those coaching mistakes or player mistakes? Do you fire the coach for them? The decision depends on context, imho.

Holy crap. It's July 28. Can we we wait just a little bit longer before we start freaking out about a rookie? -

100%. Hell, Edelman was a QB in college or something, wasn’t he? -

I agree they never had awesome wideouts, but they had elite slot guys in Welker and Edelman. -

Tyleik Williams said Bills told him they’d take him at 30
Slack_in_MA replied to Warriorspikes51's topic in The Stadium Wall
So, if one of the top DTs had magically fallen to us at 30, you believe Beane would have taken Hairston anyway? I’m not saying you’re wrong. I’m interested in your learned opinion on something I don’t research one iota. OK, maybe ONE iota, but definitely not two. 😉 -

I dunno. Listening to Beane’s presser, I got the feeling he thought he was getting a DT yesterday, and was a tad disappointed having to “settle” for Hairston. Not from anything he said but by his demeanor. 🤷- 63 replies

Obliquely… excellent.

I won’t be surprised at all.

No doubt. I’m praying for one of them to be like “WTF, there’s no way I’m playing for that sh1t organization”. Now that would get me up in my chair!

Von Miller & Bills trying to agree on contract?

He ran pretty well for 40 yards with that scoop after Lamar’s fumble in the playoff game. Still can’t believe that guy didn’t knock it out of his hands. -
NFLPA Team Report Cards out - Bills are 23/32
Slack_in_MA replied to Roundybout's topic in The Stadium Wall
Boy, I'd love a scatter plot of each team's overall ranking and their winning percentage. I see we're in pretty good company down in the bottom third. -
Stones show in '81. I was 15 and my parents finally caved and let me go because "they may never tour again". LOL. Got a bit overserved at the tailgate. Stood on the field about 20 yards from the stage, packed shoulder to shoulder. It was warm and muggy. George Thorogood and the Destroyers are working their way through "One Bourbon, One Scotch, and One Beer" and my lights went out. Couldn't fall anywhere so I just slumped straight down. My older brother took me up to the concourse to get some air, and I was good to go. Journey got booed off the stage after about five songs and then the Stones rocked the house.

That’s one intellectually lazy analysis, IMO.

I personally think (and hope) they're smarter than laying their cards on the table for 2025 in an end of year press conference. That would be kinda dumb before the draft and free agency, IMO.
