Not unless my wife is watching it and our other TV conks out, the WiFi in the house dies, someone cuts my guitar strings, the roads are covered in freezing rain, and someone steals all the books in the house.
To be clear, I’ve been rooting for him and think he’s been asked to do something that’s not his strength (X). But IF he becomes a locker room issue and/or lazy, then cut bait. You and I won’t know that, and you gotta believe Beane is going to try to make his draft decision work.
I do not act as if Elijah Moore is a massive loss compared to Coleman. Not sure how you got there. I believe Coleman might be better in the slot, but how many slots do we need? If the coaching staff decides his attitude and work ethic suck, who are you or I to question that?
Truth be told, I became a Sox fan when I moved here, which was in the midst of the 86 years of championship wilderness that franchise endured. It was incredibly exciting when they won in 2004. I’d love to experience that again with the Bills (and Sabres).
I’m a big believer in “it’s never just one thing”, but I have a feeling that the team is seeing their dominance of the AFCE being challenged in a big way, and as a result, their expectation of just cruising into the playoffs is in jeopardy. They are feeling a different kind of pressure than they had when they were “on the rise” so to speak.
