  1. So, would you rather root for talented ne’er-do-wells like the Chiefs (Hunt, Rice, etc, etc) or “process guys” like the Bills draft?
  2. This virtual spot technology needs to have some more compelling views of the spot other than the distance of the spot.
  3. I blame myself for the two losses as I was travelling overseas for both and didn't wear my usual garb during the games (they were kinda late and I was asleep...). Back home for this one and the garb was back on.
  4. Joe Marino's guest (can't recall the name) said as much the other day. For a few years the Bills have actually encouraged other teams to run, however, they were able to execute that strategy. Now, they're not executing it due to do a number of factors, and it's backfiring.
  5. Ridley’s hurt. You want that?
  6. Pats corners are pretty good. Take advantage of the middle of the field where they’re weaker. Pass rush must show up and not let Maye get comfortable. He’s pretty accurate when given time.
  7. I was hoping for Mitch Cumstein, my roommate. He’s a good guy.
  8. Ken Dorsey and Matt Smiley were not working, so....
  9. McD has to challenge that spot. WTF?
  10. Plus, if you’re a player handled with kid gloves during the preseason and never have any meaningful contact, that first hit has to really suck.
  11. Can we get a link to the Peter Pan guy so we can really amp things up here?
  12. This must be close to the longest half of football in NFL history.
  13. The fringe guys are the ones who are playing poorly and losing.
  14. OK. Let’s pretend the Bills lose to KC again on a few key plays that players made obvious mistakes — Josh throws a pick six… James Cook fumbles the ball on the 3 yard line… Christian Benford gets beat one on one for a TD. Are those coaching mistakes or player mistakes? Do you fire the coach for them? The decision depends on context, imho.
  15. Holy crap. It's July 28. Can we we wait just a little bit longer before we start freaking out about a rookie?
  16. 100%. Hell, Edelman was a QB in college or something, wasn’t he?
  17. I agree they never had awesome wideouts, but they had elite slot guys in Welker and Edelman.
  18. So, if one of the top DTs had magically fallen to us at 30, you believe Beane would have taken Hairston anyway? I’m not saying you’re wrong. I’m interested in your learned opinion on something I don’t research one iota. OK, maybe ONE iota, but definitely not two. 😉
  19. I dunno. Listening to Beane’s presser, I got the feeling he thought he was getting a DT yesterday, and was a tad disappointed having to “settle” for Hairston. Not from anything he said but by his demeanor. 🤷
  20. Obliquely… excellent.
