Reminder: they were in Syria as the ground forces for the Russian joint operations, which were made possible by the feckless "red line" policy and abandonment of any foreign policy involvement in Syria of the the Obama Administration. So this is, for the most part, the penultimate dismantling of the Obama-era Middle Eastern policy of "let the Russians have it."

That's okay. He already dislikes me. And I don't need him to listen to that mewling eunuch to dislike him any more.

My sister-in-law was enrolled in Medicare, she couldn't find a pulmonologist anywhere in the Metro DC area. Her daughter was in it, and couldn't find an orthopedist to set a broken wrist (there were two in her county who took Medicare - one, the ER doc she saw, was forbidden to treat her outside the ER due to conflict of interest as a "self-referral." The other was his partner, and couldn't see her for the same reason.) Because - again - health coverage is not health care. -

No, they didn't. They demonized Republicans for it. "Main Street, not Wall Street." Hell, Pelosi almost destroyed the capital markets by being too petty to share credit with House Republicans for the bailout bill. They cheered economic bad news during Obama's administration. Such as when they celebrated increasing unemployment, SNAP, and welfare filings as economic success because it proved such programs work.

They can just pull them out of Lake Superior. I don't believe the beams were original, anyway. This isn't the first time the cathedral has caught fire.

What is better, no guns, or more guns?

Literally just had to do this, sans gun. (*^*&%^$^#mouthing off to blind woman in the Metro station. I believe my exact words were "knock you in to next week and kick your ass on Tuesday." -

Depends on the speed and length of the ramp. You see, cars don't fly straight off a ramp. They rotate - the front wheels leave the surface of the ramp before the back, which means the car starts to pitch down before it's fully airborne. But that rotation rate depends on the speed of the car leaving the ramp and the angle of the ramp. However, since you merely said "get airborne," the car will technically airborne once it leaves the ramp if the ramp is higher than the car is long. So say, for example, a Ford Explorer, which is 17 feet long. With a ramp 20 feet high and 80 feet long, that's a 14 degree angle. 20 feet high and 300 feet long, it's a 4 degree angle. At any speed sufficient enough to get it over the edge of the ramp and not get hung up. But if you're talking about jumping 30 busses or something...that's much more complex. -

Is that when the Democrats will have successfully disowned it and rebranded it as "Republican legislation?" -
