Richie Incognito Retires Via Twitter - Now Confirmed
apuszczalowski replied to Virgil's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Has anyone checked their cars? Did they all walk out with messed up hair from the swirlies? -
Dana Whites new Pro wrestling promotion centred around Conner McGreggor............ That incident was making even WWE fans sit back and say "Fake" or "WWE did it!" haven't really followed WWE much in a while, used to try and watch WM PPV when I was a teenager. The Dudleys are going into the HOF? Weren't they just back wrestling recently?

Lesean McCoy tweet. Mean anything?

I must be getting old cause I understood none of whats going on.......... -
But that $80 million in space also requires them having to replace players whose contracts are up and fill holes. Everyone gets excited over cap space but no one accounts for the fact that having that kind of space also means you usually have a lot of holes to fill to replace guys whose contracts are up to creating that space.

Where was this guy drafted?
apuszczalowski replied to maryland-bills-fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Well technically he is as he has been a starting QB for the Jags since coming in, even has a playoff win to his name....... Depends on your definition of success and where you set your bar...... -
How many other teams have been able to do what the Pats do when it comes to trading and recovering draft picks? They always seem to acquire guys for next to nothing that become keys and then dump them right before they fall off a cliff for way more. I cant think of another team that's been able to do what they do. There is no guarantee of that win though, and 7-9 might be a bit generous depending on how things shape out contract wise. The Pat's have been lucky because they keep going because their QB signs team friendly deals to give them space for extra talent that's also willing to sign lesser deals to go there.

Their approach is not likely one that can be sustained and is more of a boom or bust approach to the next couple years. Because they have been bad for a few years they have accumulated a lot of talent through the draft that has worked out well and are on cheap deals. They have a QB, RB, DE and some WRs on cheap or rookie deals that are coming up soon and going to be expensive. They will have some big cap issues then that will cause them problems which won't be an issue of they win a SB, but will be devastating if they dont

Huge collector of bobbleheads too Mostly Bluejays have all the giveaway ones since they really started doing them a while back. Have some hockey, even some TV ones. Started a big collection of the Funko POP Star Wars and Marvel ones too. I also collect some of the sports figures that the guy from Spawn used to do (now some other company does them). Have some baseball and hockey, mostly goalies, have the Metallica set too. Most are stored in totes in the basement until I can get the basement finished and put them on shelving. I used to collect models of the Orange County Choppers and West Coast Choppers bikes. I have a couple boxes of hockey, football, and baseball cards, a long with football and baseball mini helmets from gum ball machines. I do believe I also have a tote filled with Mad Magazines from like 92 to almost 2000 that I don't know if they are worth anything or should be tossed. You could also say I'm a collector of automotive and wood working/building tools.....

Lynda Carter got star on Hollywood Walk of Fame
apuszczalowski replied to Saxum's topic in Off the Wall Archives
Yup, people act like it's some honor to get one but really it's about paying to get one along with the upkeep/maintenance fees. -
I did that one time when I was in high school to get out of going on Easter (Good Friday I think) so I could go with a group from school to a Sabres game against the Canadiens My mom didn't think I would do it and I did and got to go to the game
-
Couldn't you just do that anyway even if they don't get him?
-
You should send him things showing him what lefty pitchers make in baseball and say "what could have been...." Lol

Have you seen kids/parents and society today? Strict upbringings are a thing of the past. As a parent you cant really be strict today cause in public everyone has a camera and access to social media to shame you if you try and discipline a child. And at home you have to worry that your child turns around while at school or somewhere and says something that is misunderstood by a teacher or adult and file a complaint against you. As for the religion point of the OP, I think that the oldschool type religion is becoming a thing of the past. Churches are closing cause numbers are dwindling as seniors pass away. Today people are going to less formal "churches" with less formal services.

Happy Dingus day everyone!!!!

I always referred to it as Polish St Patrick's day. -
Problem is they didn't say which draft I don't see how picking 1 through 5 in the MLB draft is going to help the Bill's this year unless TP buys the Bisons and can work out a farm team deal with the Bill's...

But I thought Dorsey and the new front office were some great football minds that would turn the franchise around? And I thought that there were all these great QBs this draft that would be franchise guys? Ask 5 people who their top QB is in this draft and it's likely that they give you 5 different answers as no one seems to be able to agree on who's the best pick for #1. They all appear to have the potential to be good, but none stand out as cant miss. But this could work out well for them if what they are saying is true. It still leaves Rosen and Darnold at 2 and 3 and they can then take Chubb at 4 so Hue can make his fantasy a reality....

That photo makes Eichel look like he plays for the Leafs because of the Jersey..... -
Its Polands St. Patrick's day, why wouldn't most people love another day that has an excuse to drink...... And it doesn't require you to wear green, a color many people don't wear on a regular basis

I watched season 1 & 2 and wasn't really impressed. -
Yeah, I think theres the elitist communities where you must apply for permission to grow a certain colour flower in your garden or Paint your mailbox a certain colour that would have them banned, and then theres the hipster communites where I would be its the cool thing to do because its old and retro making it cool until many people start doing it again........

Saw maybe the first 10 minutes of it last night, didn't seem horrible. It took me a while to figure out who the husband was, I was just sitting there thinking I know him from somewhere...... Bobby Lee also looks like he should be driving a windowless van in school zones....
