  1. My only response is to your number 3, how is having Peterman going to make the team (or QBs) better then not having him there? I dont think it will make a difference. AJ is the veteran and has played and started more games in his career then Peterman, and Allen is the future (potential starter this year). Petermans one year NFL career experience with less then 2 full games completed (one being the worst first half of play by a QB in the history of the league) isnt going to make or break the locker room. And with a new OC this year it cant even be said he has experience with the offence. I do expect that they may try and sneak him through cuts to try and keep him on the PS though.
  2. They should make it a requirement that the last place team has to do it. If you want the #1 overall pick in the draft you have to be willing to do the Show. If not, you dont get to pick 1st....
  3. Has any team every played well after being on it? It is a huge distraction and it's why a lot of teams refuse to do it and the league has to put in rules to force teams hands.
  4. why? They actually seem to be getting good people from a good organization Its not like they are raiding the Browns front office....
  5. A retired Linebacker is going to come in and play CB?
  6. He peed his pants while throwing his tantrum screaming at the Eagles during his visit? When asked if he was gay by a team he broke down in tears? During a team visit he called the coach or gm "mommy" on a few occasions? He admitted to be a Patriots fan?
  7. Whatever team he plans on has to make him an immediate captain.
  8. Who said? Could be AJ, kid from Shippensburg, Josh, then Nate. The kid from Shippensburg could have been the guy all along and Josh was just the smokescreen....
  9. Maybe they ignored QBs early in the 1st of the draft, but again, they have not ignored the position. They just have gone many different ways to find someone and failed. Again they may not have done it the way you wanted them to, but they haven't ignored the position. Also you bring up drafting one in the first, since Kelly they have done it twice (3 times now) both in the last 15 years. How many times have the Bill's had a top 5 pick in the draft? How many times have they been in the top 10?
  10. One of the biggest misconceptions around here is that everyone says the Bills ignored the QB position which isn't true. They may not have made the picks everyone wanted them to make, or drafted a QB every year, but they did just like every other team that doesn't have a franchise guy has done and tried everything to find someone who would work. They went the veteran route, they drafted guys all over the draft, went to find potential diamonds in the rough in free agency, they even trade for some. Unfortunately it didnt work out to get them a true franchise guy and they kept having to start over or build a team around what they had. They may have kept some around too long, but it's not like they didnt make an effort to get someone.
  11. If any of this is true or actually happens with BB scrwwing over Kraft and the Pat's when he retires, I might gain a tiny ounce of respect for him......
  12. Browns should have been all over the Bengals 7th round pick T Rod Taylor
  13. Too bad he didnt play at Penn State...
  14. Could be because defences for a while weren't that good? If your offence isn't good enough to keep up with the high scores, build a defence that will stop the high scores. The Bill's are closer to having a degence that can hold back the higher scorers then an offence that can keep up with them.
  15. I would bet it wasn't any team but just some internet troll football fan, same as the "gas mask photo" last year. Trolls live to take successful people down. Have some bad tweets from a future NFL player? Release them right before the draft is the best way to bring them down.
  16. Would be interesting to know if the tweets scared off the Browns and made them go with Mayfield instead? He wasn't really expected as #1 until just before the draft.
  17. And Gruden will continue to get roasted for his picks.... (Except from Raiders fans who believe him to be a God and do no wrong)
  18. I'm sure its going to make for an embarrassing awkward first meeting between the 2 of them, and will probably end up in a good laugh from both my the end. Aj doesn't seem like the jealous type and can probably have a good laugh at ending up on the same team together now. Peterman is probably trying to jump in around them saying "I would look for the DB on the other team and throw it to him cause that's probably the only way I connect with someone on my own team..."
  19. I dont even think it's that, I think he has a couple teams in his head he wants to go to, probably all the NFC East so he can stick it to the Cowboys. He is just waiting for one of them to offer and will probably take less then what he could get elsewhere
  20. The Bill's are a team that is going to focus on building a defense and filling the offence through FA. They appear to believe that you win with defence
  21. How could Allen be ranked 7th overall? I thought he wasn't even the 7th best QB in the draft??
  22. I dont know, reading Bill's fans comments and thoughts on Taylor here before he was dealt and most would argue that just about anyone could be an improvement over Taylor....
  23. How many picks do the Ravens have? Seems like every couple picks they are back up picking again.
  24. Dont insult the people who had the opinion that filling holes with all the picks would be a good idea instead of tradi g everything for a QB. This poster is just a troll...
