  1. Odds are much higher that Keenum isn't a fluke over Bradford being able to survive a full season without IR......
  2. It's only fair, they sign CB the Bills didn't want to pay for last off-season, this off-season the Bills sign a CB they didn't want to play in the SB....
  3. If his sole interesr is more money, which i doubt it is, then they would get him. I think given the choice and taking out money, the Bills would be over the Jets. Coach not on the hot seat, playoff team that was better QB play away from being a serious contender. But in all seriousness, I don't think he leaves NO. I don't think there is a huge rush to resign him cause he is going to re-sign. Might even be holding off to allow the. To make some moves and work out a deal with what they have left to spend. If he does explore other options I'd assume it's a short term deal to Denver or Minny to get one last SB shot or retirement
  4. O would be surprised if they get him cause he is really the 2nd best option available and teams like Minnesota and Denver most likely have him as their backup option for not getting cousins. If the Bills do sign him, its to be the starter. They won't be trading away a bunch of picks to move up, and most likely means they draft one of the second tier guys where they currently stand (Jackson, Rudolph, etc.). Same with a deal for Foles. Bridgewater or McCaron aren't guys they sign to be bridges, they are most likely brought in to be the long term starter with maybe another cheap veteran backup allowing them to use their picks to fill all the other holes. I wouldn't be shocked if they work out a deal for some QB that no one really knew was available or knew was available that would be brought in as the new starter with maybe a 2nd/3rd tier guy drafted as a fall back. Someone like maybe Lynch or Siemian from the Broncos. I don't see this front office willing to give up the early half of their draft this year just to move up and grab one of the top QBs. These guys like their picks too much and want to build for now and the future. They are more likely to use their picks to build up the rest of their roster in the draft. Their is no sure thing in this draft at QB like Luck or Manning. There's a bunch of guys with potential to be great players, but theirs almost always a few of those with question marks. Goff and Wentz look good now but we haven't seen much of them yet. Watson looks promising in his limited time. How many times have we seen the And come out of the draft with high expectations and they never reach their potential even after a promising start? Is giving up their top 6 picks this draft worth it for the next Marrotta or Winston?
  5. Probably a lot of dumpster diving if they have to give up all their top picks to move up into the top 4 to get the QB everyone wants them to get. Won't leave much cap space to sign anyone big if they have to fill all the rest of the roster holes through FA.
  6. Well, if his only choices are Buffalo and the Jets, and money wasn't a concern, I think he goes to Buffalo, I think it goes retire, Buffalo, jets.....
  7. If he was so good, why would the Saints let him walk? Don't take on another teams garbage....
  8. I know, I was just adding to it
  9. The three QBs were a former 1st overall pick (not by them) who hasn't made it through a season without ending up on IR, a young QB who hasn't started in almost 2 years after having an injury that almost was a career ender, and a career backup who had one good season for them last year. They want an upgrade to win now while they can so they are going to grab the top veteran QB available who's an upgrade over all 3 of the guys they have on the roster
  10. Your also out of a job very quickly if the QB you drafted is starting day 1 and your team is starting another playoff draught. Your not giving up so many picks unless they are the next Manning. They had to acquire those picks somehow so they aren't freebies.
  11. If they go get McCarron, they won't be drafting a QB. He is the future if they are signing him. If they sign him they go with an older veteran backup with Peterman #3 If they don't pick up another late round project QB this year and let Peterman go. They can't go into a season with a rookie, a guy with a couple games starting on his resume, and a guy who completed more passes to the other team then his own in half of a game...
  12. So pretty much what I had guessed. To get into the top 4 your looking at giving up the first 2 days of this draft To get one of the top QBs this year. So the choice will be leaving the draft with a QB with the chance of being a good starter in the league or take one of the next tier QBs and possibly some other younger positional starters. If the guys in charge are to be believed and they want to build for the future and today, they are getting a FA starter and a 2nd tier QB in the draft
  13. It's funny how no one wants Foles but Case Keenum and his 1 good partial season, or Bradford who hasnt finished a seaso without time on IR are better choices?
  14. So the actually get to draft players I the first 3 rounds this year. It's going to cost a ton of picks to move from the 20s into the top 5
  15. Garapalo is the highest paid player at the moment and he has yet to start a full seasons worth of games.......
  16. So in other words tour 16 year old 350lber sitting in your moms basement getting off being an internet troll on a message board. 50 years old hanging out online bragging about having friends working as sports agents, kinda sad if actually true. Nothing I said is true. Whether the league does anything or not doesn't mean it isn't technically t ampering and NOTHING i said required receiving insults
  17. Seriously? I point out a FACT and this kind of response is acceptable around here? No wonder the quality poster keep leaving here... I thought you could only talk interest, scheme and player/team fit, no figures or contract details in that period. But apparently it's just accepted so we are not allowed to talk about it or mention it
  18. The Bills had to get into a position where they were still in position for a playoff spot before the Bengals game ended which they did. Every year teams, even good ones, need help and spoilers to get into the playoffs or into a position. Its only a bad thing wgen the Bills need it. How many times have the Bills helped other teams over the draught years get into the playoffs? You could argue that every year they play 2 games that help the Pats take the division and home field......
  19. There's a legal tampering period where teams can talk to players, that hasn't opened yet
  20. People need to stop assuming that just because a player played for the Panthers that it means Beane and McDermott need or want them here
  21. Much harder to do business with someone when you just gave up a bunch of your trade chips to move up to the top 10 and now have to give up more to move up closer....
  22. Because they league has not opened the legal tampering period yet, it would technically be tampering at this point if they have a deal worked out already. Doesn't matter if "it has been done for years"
  23. What wojld the bills get for tb tampering?
  24. Think that's more likely They have said many times they are looking to win now while building for the future. They aren't going to give up all their picks for someone they have no idea if he can start now. I say it's more likely they make a move for a vet to start now and draft someone closer to the late teens/early twenties
