IF this is true, combining it w/ Trump's inability to be a gracious winner, it gives a new/ another reason the D's have been pushing Russia so hard. Knowing that he would likely need to get retribution for the mean things they'd said about him on the campaign trail (because that's what he's always done & who he is), they couldn't let him sink his teeth into this. It's not just loss of power until the tides turn back to their favor in 4-12 years (because they ALWAYS turn back) but the threat of real jail time. Won't believe it until there's more to the story, but if there is more to it, it makes a lot of things make sense.

Which is kinda cool, I guess. But just curious why ~160 days into the new administration we need a 90 day temporary travel ban to review & upgrade vetting from these countries? Shouldn't the vetting be completed by now? Or was 90 days not long enough to complete the review? Or was it not started until the SCOTUS agreed to the stay to allow the ban to take place, in which case the Q is why didn't the vetting start when the initial EO was issued (regardless of whether travellers were still departing from those countries)?

Good for you. In NYS, once a person is registered to vote they only need to sign in at the polling station in order to vote. There is no additional identification required. That there are places where NO ID is required to vote is why the question of whther ID should be required gets asked.
