What is going on in Buffalo this weekend?

ugly women getting waay more attention than they deserve -
ive been watching football for over forty years and i could not possibly disagree more with this entire statement the decision to throw the ball there was one of the worst ive ever seen any qb make, easily the worst that fitz has made this year thats for sure. the pi call was very shakey as i dont think nelson could have caught the poorly underthrown ball even if nobody touched him, he was too far away and his momentum was carrying him backwards that and the pick six off marcells face were pure bolts of nuthin but extreme luck. ill take the win for sure, but lets not pretend those two plays didnt essentially handed us the game

i had seasons tix during the heart of the glory years of 90-95. funny thing is those crowds were enthusiastic and loud as hell, but they rarely stood up, or at least only during the right critical times. then again, i did have seats at the forty in like row 15 of the upper deck so pretty much all seasons tix holders, but i dont think that was it. and it wasnt like they were used to a winning team either, when i got my first seasons they were still pre-superbowl and the same thing happened. i think it was just a different time when people werent so desperate and inconsiderate or something. just didnt seem like people felt the need to stand constantly there actually is a rule that you cant stand but they almost never bother to enforce it. and they really should, there should be regular announcements that standing for most of the game is not tolerated. everybody understands that during high stress critical times people are gonna stand in anticipation. but you can be just as pumped and just as loud and just as supportive sitting down for the nine out of ten plays that arent super critical. then of course you can always jump up after a great play its just so unfair and inconsiderate to people who pay for a ticket and dont want to stand the whole game just to see. its especially bad for people who arent maximally healthy or worse have a disability and cant stand that long. you really are robbing other people of their enjoyment of the game and just for the record, due to a permanent back injury i cant even sit in those seats for more than ten minutes. i have to stand the whole game, but i do it back in the tunnel out of the way so im not hindering anybody elses view. just wanted to throw that in there to show im not a whiner or a hypocrit. they really should do something about the near constant standing and put a stop to it

A QB just can't improve his accuracy percentage

fitz is playing great. but ... - i will be surprised if he ends up over 60% for the season. he still is throwing passes in the dirt and into the gatorade table. theres just something about his ability that appears to doom him to having a few wtf was that throws every game - that decision to throw into double coverage in the endzone, and then to throw a duck, that got picked before it was negated on a flimsy pass interference call was horrendous. at this point in his career he really should NEVER make the choice to throw that ball. heres hoping hes kicking himself and realizes he got SUPER LUCKY the cheaters didnt get the ball on their twenty and drive right down to go up by 14 (their trademark btw) -
thats what she said

Bellicheats sideline tantrum
Meathead replied to BuffaloBorn1960's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
he was definitely right the clock ran a full ten seconds (1:53 to 1:43) after freddie was down and they (refs) were deciding if it was a score or not imagine the play had ended normally with no dispute on what happened: - IF freddie was down at the 1 then belicheat would call an immediate time out, probably getting to the ref four seconds after being downed, so 1:49 instead of 1:43 (six seconds) - IF freddie was in the endzone then the clock stops immediately at 1:53 but because the refs couldnt decide if he scored or not the clock kept running and belicheat didnt have a chance to call a time out. he essentially lost six seconds to the delay in the decision, and six seconds on a last chance tom brady drive could be the difference between winning and losing as much as i hate the cheaters and their coach, he was right to make a stink there. the refs just told him to shut up and they were gonna start the clock again, so he calls the time out there cuz he has to -

i admit i was completely right. about everything except that beta would win over vhs. but since then, bingo -
every qb in the league throws potential picks. theres 2-3 elite ones that throw very few, but everybody else including the probowl level ones put balls up that could be picked once again, bruschi is a half-jerk, half-dick, possible half-pudwad

seems to me balloon hats would be routinely blown off kids heads and end up all over the aisles and the field. just sayin -
yeah terrell davis was indeed one of the very best of all time when he was playing. that dude was close to unstoppable. in terms of individual years (not accounting for longevity) youd have to say he was on par with oj, dickerson, holmes, those kinds of devestating dominating backs i loves me some freddie but its silly to say hes in that class

of course hes bitter. he ultimately failed here and was jettisoned. and this after he was given a heros welcome. it must hurt real bad to be treated initially as so beloved and then tossed aside because of his own inability theres no amount of rationalization that can excuse losing to what were indeed second and third string players playing a game that had no meaning for them. i was a drew supporter, obviously too much so, until that game. once i watched that with my own eyes it was throw his ass the hell out. theres just no way a hof qb loses that game. hell, there should have been no way a crappy starting nfl qb loses that game. he failed as spectacularly as an alleged franchise qb could fail in that situation still surprised he would be so openly hostile to bflo. by now you would think he would have grown up over it all. sad

call travis henry hes got a good deal for ya -
are you kidding? i loved phil hansen but he wasnt anywhere near as good as kyle williams. in fact, he wasnt any better than chris kelsay lots of emotional romanticism attached to that era. phil was decent but he really doesnt belong on the wall for his on field accomplishments. if youre gonna put him there you should at least admit why. kinda makes a joke of the wall actually flame away. but i had seasons during those years and anyone capable of objective reasoning would concur phil is beloved for pretty much the exact opposite and yet still the same reason kelsay is hated - they represent the fortunes of the teams they played on

um because bruschi is a spoiled princess?

easy losing to the steelers backups when a win put us in the playoffs that one hurt more than the superbowls

frankly ive always thought they could do away with that block but its been mostly legal for a long time so its part of the game until they take it out -
one word: brad. smith. chan being on top of the third qb rule change will pay huge dividends. by the end of the season teams will be wondering why the heck they didnt rush to sign this guy and will be trying to find somebody like him

theyre also dirty rotten cheaters
