Right people don’t understand that Williams is a pipe dream. Every team wants a # 1 speed WR. He could go as high as 4 and I say his floor is 15. So then you say okay Gonzo 15 is in range for a trade up. The Saints at 16 have two first round picks, the Packers have two first round picks, the Chiefs have two first round picks. Any of those guys need WRs way worse and have more ammo to get him than the Bills

You do realize that Justyn Ross had a spinal injury, almost quit football, and is still a huge injury risk. I will be very surprised with his lengthy medical issues if he goes anywhere close to the 3rd round and even scratches that potential. George pickens is 6'3 195 and he is considered an alpha bully, Treylon Burks is 6'2 225 and is considered an alpha but Gabriel Davis at 6'2 210 and has proven in the NFL he can get vertical despite being a 4.55 guy isn't a big bodied WR in your opinion. Remember you said too many of those guys are redundant. Were not getting Jameson Williams, Chris Olave, Garrett Wilson unless we trade up and give up a 1st next year. I just don't think that happens. You can wish all you'd like to get that guy but the best your gonna end up with if they decide to go that route in round 1 without a trade up is Treylon Burks or Jahan Dotson.

So what are we looking for in your opinion? Your looking for a burner would be my guess. Someone to take the top off of a defense. This is why everyone loves Jameson Williams. Well we have maybe a 5% shot at Williams. If that's the case we can eliminate other guys who ran slower. Pickens doesn't fit then either with his 4.47 which is too "slow". Take Treylon Burks off the board with his 4.55. Danny Gray ran a 4.33 is that fast enough for people, Bo Melton ran a 4.34. People just want big name guys that they think are going to be legit # 1s. At best for the next couple of years, the WR we draft will be a # 3 guy. If we get a guy in the first round that's fine I understand, more weapons for Allen. I'm sayin there are other options in round 2 or round 3. A couple of years ago no one was talking about Gabriel Davis. He was thought of as ho hum whatever pick in another very deep draft where we traded it for Diggs. There are tons of guys who are successful is rounds 3 and 4 and later that become big time WR's.

I just told you 3 really good players that could Kyle Phillips, Danny Gray, and David Bell. 3 guys you didn’t even mention in your initial convo with me. Okay so you hate Phillips, Calvin Austin etc because he’s a slot. Ok go look up Gray and Bell and tell me what you think. Both are outside guys. One a burner, the other a possession guy. Romeo Doubs(not a fan but a guy projected in the area), Bo Melton who is rising after the combine and had bad QB play his whole career
-
so you chose to pick at 1 guy for being a slot, and due to your reading up on people believe that Shakir won’t be there. I didn’t say he would I said he’s not going in round 2. Gray is one of my favorite prospects at WR that is overlooked. He might not be there when the Bills pick but everything you read about him is 4th-5th which isn’t accurate. You think Alec Pierce might be there at our 3rd but Pierce is going round 2 but because everyone tells you round 3 based on what you read.
-
Danny Gray is a super underrated prospect that the Bills could get in round 3. Kyle Phillips is an excellent route runner in the mold of Emmanuel Sanders. Shakir is a fantastic pick in round 3. He won’t go round 2. David Bell wouldn’t have been available late 3 but with his slower 40 he may drop. Personally I like Gray. Reminds me of a raw Lee Evans.

by the time 25 rolls around the best options are Dotson and maybe Burks. If that’s the case I’d rather wait till 2 or 3 and get a similar WR who let’s be honest will be at best our 4th WR starting out.
-
I can get James Cook in the 3rd who is a better pass catching back than Breece Hall. Cook lines up everywhere . Might not be as good a runner as Hall but why invest a 1st rounder if we can find our pass catching back who’s better at it in round 3. No one is loading the box on the Bills as long as Allen is here. But your in love and there will be no changing of opinions. I’m not even against the idea of Hall just throwing out other options
-
George Karlaftis goes in the 2nd round. Matt Waletzko goes in round 2 much higher than projections. Surprise first rounders: Bernhard Raimann, Logan Hall, Boye Mafe, Chad Muma Alec Pierce goes ahead of Jahan Dotson, George Pickens , and Christian Watson No TEs go round 1 but 4 go in round 2.

Kaiir Elam by far would be one that would make me cringe. I’m not against really anyone else. I find more guys valuable than others but unless it’s a huge reach I’ll be content

The Jermaine Johnson thing from Charlie Campbell maybe is true but a guy at Georgia who isn’t getting PT even though he’s likely a top 10 pick this cycle would be a source of frustration. I’m as big of a backer of Johnson as any but I find that to be untrue. Everyone at FSU said he was a model teammate, never complained despite the team being 5-7 and came back for Norvell twice to recruit including transfer DE Jared Verse and their spring game. Verse even stated that having that 1 on 1 conversation was a big reason he decided to transfer to Florida State

I mean shocker, overweight college athlete makes some money and eats his way out of the league. He will continue to get cracks with the Jets or others because he has talent and he’ll be out of the league in another 3-4 years
-
There is only a small shot I can see Williams going as high as 4
-
I sure do get it, you must have missed the part where I said I get why they would take him at 25 if they really want him but I’d like to trade down and get him.
-
What’s worse about Losman, who isn’t the biggest bust, is like 3 fold. The Bills were trying to trade up from # 13 to 9 with the Jaguars to take Roethlisberger who was dropping down the board but Jacksonville refused because they had to have Reggie Williams who turned out to be a huge bust. 2nd , Losman was an early 2nd round projection and the Bills traded up with the Cowboys surrendering their 1st the next year after missing out on all 3 QBs and settling for the 4th which was a reach 3rd, next year Aaron Rodgers fell in the draft and the Bills could have nabbed him if they didn’t reach for Losman the year before

I dont love Hall at 25, I can get behind Hall at say 33 or 34 though. If we want him I get why they would take him at 25 but there aren't many teams beating down the door for a 1st round RB. Maybe the Jets at 34 take him but beyond that I dont see many teams taking a RB even in round 2 this year. I think a slight move back to even like 30 or 31 and taking him and gaining a pick makes more sense to me.

maybe I worded it poorly. I don’t think Walker is the best DE in the draft. Just was reiterating that I am of the belief he is going # 1 overall. My DE Rankings are: Thibodeaux Johnson Hutchinson Mafe/Walker I am an FSU fan, and I may be bias but Jermaine Johnson is a complete DE. His knock is his one year wonder and he’s knocked for his run ability. I didn’t see that this year. When he was ranked as the 6th or 7th best DE in this class, I thought that was crazy

Also sounds like it’s getting close to the draft and people want people to drop time too

None of this is surprising to me except for the Hill thing like you said. I have been reading that Walker was going to go # 1 and I believe he will. Hutchinson is a really overrated prospect in my opinion. I think that Jermaine Johnson and Thibodeaux are both better than he is and I would actually like him right there with Walker as # 4 or # 5 on the board. Obviously, Thibodeaux has his own scheme and personality concerns as well. Evan Neal, I have had as my 3rd OT even before this news about his medicals. Cross is a cleaner more upside LT than he is and reminds me of last year when people thought I was crazy because I wanted Rashawn Slater over Penei Sewell. Ross almost quit football because of injuries. Elam to me is a 2nd round prospect and more of a mid 2nd rounder than high 2nd rounder. His tape is inconsistent. If you watch him Jameson Williams tape you'd think he was the best DB in the draft but he doesn't tackle, he's inconsistent in coverage and doesn't track the ball well.

that’s McDuffie, Gordon has 2 INTs last year and 2 FFs
-
dont be. Reports are from a character standpoint he’s a Bills guy to a T. Obviously CB is a big need. Reports are he is going in round 1 tho I think it would be a slight reach. Shows versatility by being able to play inside and outside. Can play both man and zone. The negatives are he doesn’t do anything elite imo including his athletic profile
-
my opinion Williams will go in round 3
-
The only two guys that even make sense for the Bills are Gardner and Jameson Williams. Both guys are going to go right around pick 7. Giants pick is 1,500 Bills pick is 720 so Bills have to make up a 780 point difference. Trading Edmunds is probably worth a mid 2nd round pick. # 45 is worth 450. still a 270 point gap Bills 1st round 2023 = this years 2nd rounder…value = 330 So depending on the value 2 1st and Edmunds would get it done Pending the value of Edmunds

Devonte Wyatt DT- Could this be our #1 Pick?

Again someone posed the question why he would be dropping and I said character issues are why he is reportedly dropping. I don’t have a care if he goes 10 or 30 just stated why he was reportedly dropping. I actually had him at 13 to the Texans in my mock
