  1. Fatherhood involves a lot more than that. I doubt this fella is going to jet around and responsibly play a role in the lives of the many kids who are the product of multiple flash relationships; the whole thing is pretty cynical if one takes ordinary intelligence and context into mind.
  2. Under weather conditions so adverse the Sith Lord ordered three passes attempted by Wonder Boy Jr, Allen made numerous throws that should have been caught. The fifty yarder to Diggs was exceptional. If anything, Allen should have thrown more and run more, though Knox had a nostalgia game of oops, what do I do when the ball hits me in the hands? The fella you are chatting with has a history of downgrading Allen. He's just wrong.
  3. A few. That loss was mainly on play execution. The win was there to be taken. I'm salty about the usual BB genius crap immediately forthcoming from lazy commentators. Easily could have gone the other way. From a Bills' perspective, I can only hope there is a successful effort in the offseason to upgrade the oline significantly. Size at rb and wr wouldn't be bad either.
  4. Ahh, I'm not up for debating, especially when the facts are not helpful to my cause in this case. You're a decent sort, considering by some curse of birth or circumstance you ended up rooting for the evil empire. Nothing you can say will convince me the zebras aren't habitually inclined to help out certain fellas and teams. It isn't simply earned points for excellence, though I grant that plays a role.
  5. Probably, though the original tuck rule thing eons ago happened without much resume, no?
  6. Man, the talking heads on ESPN would literally explode. Hmmm, now I'm considering it . . .
  7. Unless you're Jerry Hughes, but now he's too old and beat up for it to matter. Damn, I resemble that.
  8. The only ones who doubt this are trolls or morons. Whether they fix it is the issue.
  9. I dunno, maybe he's imitating Brady and forgot he plays for the wrong team.
  10. Smith takes a medication for blood clots. I'm not clear on the exact nature of his condition, but it was thought the nature of the medication he takes might preclude being able to play professional football. Evidently, those concerns were overwrought.
  11. I don't see anyone thinking we should be a run dominant team. You don't wait twenty five years for a franchise qb to not throw the ball. Yet a great deal of the success of our last franchise qb was due to a fella, Thurman Thomas, and Kenneth Davis, these archaic creatures called running backs that were a recurring staple of an explosive offense that was hard to stop because you couldn't take away one aspect of the game and stymie the offense. And while I'm waxing nostalgic, we had a damn good oline that allowed you to run and pass, imagine that.
  12. Well, I think both can be true. Oline, rb, dline against the run are problems. And we are getting beat by less talented rosters. They are taking advantage of our weaknesses and our fast track offense cannot compensate, particularly in bad weather games.
  13. Yet they've got to do something. I surmise the draft is the main resource. Creed Humphrey is wearing a helmet with an arrowhead. That's a miss. I really can't properly evaluate coaching, but maybe they should throw money at the best possible oline coach while they are at it.
  14. We do not want to be Philly. Stop this crap.
  15. Bama, Michigan, UGA, Cincy should be the order. Think that is just, moreover, it would give one the most enjoyable playoff match ups.
  16. Well, Harbaugh has a habit of disappointing. I'm actually a moderate fan of the Wolverines.
  17. I think they should show a graphic of a ref for the Pats* star player.
  18. I'm really worried about the zombie attendees.
  19. I haven't been watching the sports' shows much. This take is reasonably fair, if correct. I don't think Mac Jones has the option of not taking what the defense gives him. Intelligent game manager is what he is. If he is asked to make the wow plays, more often than not I suspect he will fail.
  20. It seems likely to me that they were theoretically aware they would get the A level effort of other teams, but the existential reality was more than they expected. Maybe it's one of those things you simply have to experience to gain sufficient knowledge. And injuries and Covid has played a role, that and Beane seems to have miscalculated the benefit of keeping the oline intact. Brown is a nice surprise, but the interior line has to be a priority going forward.
  21. And there was blatant holding on that play uncalled by the refs. They waited till our fumble prone kr had a kickoff return for td to throw a td negating flag.
  22. Well, assuming the zebras call it without the bias towards a Kraft happy ending. So many reasons to want a Bills' triumph, but among them is to watch the legacy media cry and try to walk back the coronation.
  23. It will be hilarious when Iowa beats Michigan. I'm rooting for Cincy to end up #4 if UGA beats Alabama, because I'm a Dawgs fan.
