Prospects mocked to Buffalo in R1
Bill from NYC replied to TigerJ's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Don't you think it also gets crazy when you are a huge fan of a pro AND a college team? I know how much you like Miami, and I believe that you are far more acquainted with that team than most sportswriters are. I don't place myself in such a class, but I follow the Crimson Tide to the extent that I feel confident that I do have a fairly good idea of the talent level of their players. For instance, I was on this board heaping praise upon Foster and Wallace before they ever played 1 snap for the Bills. I was also not at all pleased when they drafted Kouandjio. I am currently getting a post ready with my views on this incoming class from Alabama. I am going back and forth on a couple of players and will be influenced by the combines on several of them. It seems like a waste of time and it probably is, but for years I have watched the Bills completely screw up draft after draft. I have always thought that if the Bills could just click on a few drafts, they could win football games and kick ass in the playoffs. Imo we have a chance now because of Josh. I hope that McBeane cares about protecting him. GO BILLS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! -
Democratic 2020 Presidential Primary Thread
Bill from NYC replied to snafu's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
Very interesting take. I don't completely agree but you raise good points. What I think that you overlook in this post however is globalism. Trump is not on the "inside" with folks like Obama, Merkel, Hillary, etc. Neither is Putin and I believe this accounts for the BS Russian investigation. It is also a fact that a great many of Obama's elitist white voters went that way to prove to themselves and others that they are not racists. Many of them live in ultra rich, segregated neighborhoods and send their little darlings to segregated private schools, but; a vote for Obama eradicates all white guilt for many rich hypocrites. -

Oh, the guy who wanted Jewish bakers arrested if they refused to sell cakes with pictures of Auschwitz? That Gary Johnson? These people are extremely mentally ill. Seriously. -

You make sense but this would fail to satisfy the most radical elements of the party which now dominate it. And, let's be honest. Look at the lunatics running NY, Cal. and now VA. Do you find these people to be centrist, or in any way normal? -
If Edmunds is more suited to be a pass rusher than a MLB, it occurs to me that if the Bills draft a good MLB, they would in essence be gaining a pass rusher (Edmunds) by doing so. I don't know of any college MLBs other than Mack Wilson. Mack is a very good player, really solid but imo considerably less talented than Reuben Foster was but without the issues.

Irv Smith is very good. I also like Jace Sternberger from Texas A&M.

BB my friend.....don't go so far out on a limb! Sorry Brother, couldn't resist. Thank you. Parcells and Belichick against Levy is like putting Mike Tyson in the ring against a second grade girl. -

Yeah but it doesn't seem so long ago to me. -
Most Boring Super Bowl Ever?

I would add the Bears/Patriots to your list. That was an actual game for 90 seconds or less. -
It probably will be the lowest rated but your post left out the primary reason. Only a few people were lucky enough to have the numbers in their football pools that mattered this year. In a normal Super Bowl, numbers fly all over the place as teams score and many feel the excitement of having a chance to win. Trust me, if you had 3s and 0s in your boxes, you would be happy this morning.

34-13 Rams. I don't even care a little bit who wins but I think the Rams will dominate AND get all the calls. -
How much money did you spend on Super Bowl pools?

This year 300. That's usually about it. -

Nah, he was too busy cashing 36 million dollars worth of checks, and basking in the praise that you bestowed upon him. -

I hope that you can get some help from the things that make you such a douchebag. Be well. -
Is this true? If so count me in as a Birmingham Fan. Never mind. They will be my team even if it isn't true.

How Does a Bills Loss Affect Your Life?
Bill from NYC replied to Billsfanatic8989's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The losses don't phase me like they used to. This is very much due to necessity, whereas I was way too emotionally invested. Like others have said, at this point I am pleasantly surprised when they win. Even when I was taking it more seriously, I was way worse on draft day than after losses. Friends from this board have actually called me at home to hear the entertainment of me flipping out after they drafted McKelvin and a few others. 2006 was my worst episode. My daughters have even called for a good laugh. In fact, it still hurts quite a bit to watch when the Bills make the same idiotic mistakes year after freaking year, no matter who is in charge. I was SO happy when they drafted Allen. I hope we don't go right back to the same ridiculous moves but I am trying to prepare for it.
