  1. I wistfully long for the days when the Bills flew under the radar ( to no where in particular), there was no stress of performing on the national state, my schedule was very predictable with all noon games (save for the obligatory Thursday night football game). I hope to tell my grandchildren about those days as they wouldn't have a clue what a loser Bills team feels like
  2. I was torn between WR2 and RT but as I had to make a single choice, I selected the first option. If JA had a reliable second WR option, the impact of a poorer RT is lower. There will be differing opinions on this of course because I can see the reverse - if he had better protection, it allows another player to not help in blocking and be available as a receiving option.
  3. I don't think aQB like Siemian can come in after the third game of the season and make a material difference to the remaining schedule's W-L record
  4. Yea, Saleh has to now play the hand he is dealt. The time to get a decent backup was in the offseason. Heck, Trey Lance may have been worth a gamble for the price the Cowboys paid. Now the Jets are forced to pick up cast away scraps line Siemian. At this point, there arent a lot of teams who will trade a half way decent backup on their roster.
  5. Going with your canine theme, how about St Bernard?
  6. In the past two game, it is really nice to see a nice clean pocket and more than 2 seconds for JA to scan the field. I cant remember the last time I saw such consistent clean pockets. The interior of the line has been very solid.
  7. "If this is wrong, I don't want to be right" 😀
  8. Thanks for that info. But it doesn't negate the OP's points - if we had to spend one less receiving asset to help Brown in pass pro, the O would be even more dynamic and diverse that it already is. While the last two weeks have been more than adequate to blowout the teams, we will struggle against teams built like the Jets D or if we run into a high scoring team with a great pass rush. Undoubtedly, there will be at least one such team in the playoffs
  9. Ryan has a comfortable gig now and I am sure he doesn't want to change that. Just like that commercial featuring Marino, Rice, emmitt Smith etc
  10. His injury looks worse than reported.
  11. Lol @Stafford. Tried to throw a side arm pass like Allen did, but it's almost intercepted. When will other other QBs learn they are not Josh? EDIT not "almost"
  12. Couple of other things is that we need to do the darnest to limit the damage by Hill (hence your earlier comment on activating Elam, I am guessing). secondly, there would be opportunities for long limbed DEs Groot and AJE to bat passes. I am not worried about their run game given how well our DL is playing.
  13. That TD throw to Davis was sweeeet ! How many QBs in the league can make that precise a throw with that velocity?
  14. Imo, a very serious talk happened after the Jets game and the play calling plus Josh's decisions made a u turn.... for the better. What we are seeing is an attempt at more balance and variety at the expense of creativity and risk. We have not seen Josh make the bone headed throws as in the Jets game (maybe an occasional one). He seems more engaged with the team on the sidelines and has a generally calm demeanor. Can the playing improve? Absolutely. But then again each and every team in the league will say that. This is similar to what Andy Reid and Mahomes did after initial struggles last year.
  15. It's just his password and he accidentally pasted it here.
  16. Thats exactly what I was thinking. Bernard has a nose for the ball
  17. I havent seen the Colts or Moss so cant tell about the scheme or his running style. Perhaps it is a combination of - him being motivated due to being booted off his first team, scheme, number of carries. On the Bills, he didnt look very motivated after the first season during which he looked like a hard runner and the type we eventually got with Harris and Murray. For one reason On a related note, I see that Singletary on the Texans has these stats 4-14-3.5 7-15-2.1 These are pretty poor so I looked up if he is injured but I cant find any such reports. Why is he being underutilized?
  18. The 13 seconds part?
  19. Yea, better to keep the humor out of this until the charges are announced.
  20. His previous display of emotion was deemed unbecoming of a coach. Grudgingly agreed with others' opinion on that. In this case, imo, his reaction is perfectly fine. He is too involved with the game and showing an elated reaction is totally acceptable.
  21. The OP titled the thread that Dorsey is being "posterized" which implies it is not being made out to be a non-issue. This culture of micro observations, wide distribution and then the mocking by many people is not good. It is only a reputation because the video of a single incident was widely distributed . If it is recurrent behavior, then I would agree with the analogy but given the singular nature of the evidence, it's not fair to make it his reputation
  22. The ubiquitousness of cameras is really saddening. Can a coach now not celebrate an excellent TD without being "posterized"? Nothing was broken - laptops were safe, papers didn't fly. Why is his celebration highlighted
