  1. Wouldn’t touch Bosa unless it’s vet minimum loaded with incentives. Has the name, but not the drive of his brother.
  2. Very happy with this. Played very well. Contract very team friendly.
  3. Loved what he brought to the team. Would have loved to keep him, but ok to with him leaving knowing we have AJ back. Hopefully he takes the next step.
  4. Did not expect to resign him. Very happy with this.
  5. Absolutely not. Was not good the last season he was with us. Has not been good for the Steelers.
  6. Bernard played very well last year. Played larger than he is. Milano should be back and hopefully back to close to where he was. Would love to have a strong dline. Remains to be seen who we sign. DaQuan Jones will be missed.
  7. Can have a weaker defensive line if you have a very good defensive backfield to cover. Weak dbacks and weak defensive line can be painful.
  8. Poyer and Hyde certainly held down out safety positions very well for many years. Injuries and age have slowed them down a bit lately though. I don’t see a big name FA safety signing. Rapp will start. Maybe a low end costing tier 2 guy along with drafting one, maybe two more. Can get a high priced guy, most likely would be on the cheap this year but would eventually cost. Will miss these guys and what they brought to the team. Wish them both well.
  9. Yup. Injuries happen. As a Bils fan, and fan of Tre, I can feel however I’d like. Pretty sure plenty of others feel the same.
  10. Yup. Injuries. Doesn’t mean a true Bills can can’t be unhappy he won’t be with the team.
  11. Was back last season. Unfortunately got injured again. Tre is a baller and great dude.
  12. just hope we don’t take too many steps back. And don’t think it was the defense that held us back at times.
  13. Been a series of 1 year deals on the line for the last few season. CB is Rasul and Benford starting for sure. Safety will be FA or draft most likely. Defensive line is a concern. Daquan and Epenesa are both loses of we don’t resign. Offense needed the defense to play great last season at many points. Now, the offense looks to be the ones to carry the team. Beane has a plan. Won’t get too freaked out until we get to the first day of training camp.
  14. Purged our defensive backfield. Rapp is a FA at this point. Defense was great last season. Right now, not feeling good about it. Beane must have a plan. But dang.
  15. Martin must be gone. At least it gives us someone on the team. With the purge today, doubt we spend a draft pick on a punter. Most likely looking at FA to bolster.
  16. What the heck. Defensive backfield. Gone. Love the guy!
  17. Poyer. Hyde. Neal. All gone. Gonna be an interesting offseason replacing our Dbacks.
  18. Same initial response. Dang.
  19. What an incredibly terrible trade and lost draft picks. Add the money/cap hit that will paralyze the team for the next two seasons. And people complain about Beane? 😆
  20. RIP Mort. Was a class act, straightforward. Delivered the news without sensationalizing.
  21. Re-Re-Re-Rewatching the series right now. Up until the last time I watched it, I chose to believe Tony lived and just kept being himself. After reading an older thread on here and some of Chases interviews, especially in the last year, I now watch fully knowing he gets killed. Makes it a bit more interesting as he keeps being Tony and how his excess was his downfall. Still have affection for the character, but am now able to see the fatal flaws I missed, or chose to ignore. Also, I do believe Paulie had a hand in him getting wacked for sure.
  22. At first I listened to him because he was someone who didn’t tow the company line. After a bit realized he was on more of a vendetta. Had Empire and WNSA as an alternative back in those days, and his type of act made those options much easier to listen to. Guy could have gone a few directions. Either use his NFL background to provide educated and informative info to his listeners, or go after the head coach and Glenn Parker on a daily basis. He chose the later proving he was nothing more than a bitter, old man. If it was an act, meh. Something tells me it wasn’t and he truly wore his emotions on his sleeve.
  23. I get what you are saying. Tre could give us a discount. Doubt it. Douglas is 7 million this season, no corner his ability would come that cheap. He played exceptionally well at the end if the season. Yes. Benford played very well but Douglas is better. Not counting Tre out until we see how he performs. As for Elam? I wouldn’t count him as more than CB4 if he improves. He has skills staying with his man for sure. He is a liability tracking the ball and the ability to play the man and the ball simultaneously. Yeah, he had a nice end zone int. That was a flash, not consistent enough. I’d make sure the defensive backfield is well stocked. If they fo their job It makes the defensive line better. Even if we were loaded with studs on the d-line, low talent, or unproven defensive backs can kill you. And don’t forget. Whatever money we have, we have to address our safeties.
