  1. As for confirmation on Harbaugh, from OBD itself: http://blogs.buffalobills.com/2010/01/16/r...t-harbaugh-out/ Would love Cowher here, but just can't see them offering the job to someone if he was a candidate. No way.
  2. Uhm, the fact Harbaugh said no pretty much says Cowher is out of the picture. Why would they offer it to JH if Cowher was still in the picture?? Why risk alienating Cowher?? Nope, we may actually have to beg Levy to come back for at least a season.....
  3. Russ helped focus attention on markets outside of Buffalo, ie: Rochester and Southern Ontario, hence putting fans in the seats.
  4. Ralph has not wanted a strong personality in charge of anything here since Polian. He tried with Donahoe, but got "burnt". And it really does not matter who we get. Ralph, Littman and Brandon will sabotage any chance of success anyway. I'm not going to rehash old stuff, but Littman was accussed of cutting Milloy without the coaching staff knowing. Russ is a master at getting people in the seats, even after multiple losing seasons. And Ralph has been accused as being meddling, with newer accusations coming around. Not a recipe for success from management. I hate to say it because he has had a storied career as pioneer of the AFL and owner in the NFL, but man, Ralphie Boy really needs to step aside and let people who REALLY care for a winning team take over. He's gotten his $$$$$ worth out of this franchise, not it's time for him "TO GET THE HECK OUT OF TOWN!"
  5. The fact Billy Boy has not come out and said no when even Ralph confirmed he had been talked to gives me some hope he may be our coach. Also: Miss Buffalo http://media.buffalonews.com/smedia/2010/0...ffiliate.50.jpg She's the one on the right
  6. Was on the year recently with WGR. Think maybe last season, or season before. Actually, who really cares. That guy is a useless, opinionated j erk.
  7. Well said. I only know what limited action I had seen him in over the years, not game-by-game. My desire for Cowher is twofold, hopefully a good coach, and dare I say it, to make Buffalo relevant again. Didn't happen with Owens, but I believe for the duration of his stay here, national media would believe the Bills are capable of anything. I am just so sick and tired of the national media guys taking extra steps to tell us how bad we are (as if we didn't know it). I know we've done nothing to prove them wrong, but hopefully a Cowher signing would put an end to the national media crapping on our franchise. FWIW, I would like a proven HC, no coordinators or college guys. My choice, after Cowher, would be Shotty Sr.
  8. Great, nice sack and a penalty.
  9. Jersey Shore? Saw that once...by mistake. Wow what a garbage show and what a bunch of absolute idiots! Show made me laugh at how stupid some people are.
  10. My comment was more of the dude between them and the face he made. Kinda imagined a sick thud with the hit. BTW, not to sound out of the loop, but who is she and what show is she on?
  11. Wow, kinda nauseating.
  12. with or without peppers and onions?
  13. Hope his brother does better......
  14. Wow. Great defense so far. I really do enjoy watching Brady get abused!
  15. Oh My God! He missed the field goal! EPIC FAIL! Now not even a chance for an onsides kick.
  16. Motivation for the Jets? The Bengals must of thought it was a gimme game.
  17. Geez, the Bengals keep this up and maybe the Bengals have a job opening in the morning....
  18. Just a feelin, but I think it's game over. Bengals seem to be missing some fire.
  19. There are no other openings for Cowher to consider at this time, just speculation on who might be fired. So for the Bills to not explore every option, would be ludicrous. I want this team to do it's due diligence regarding signing of the next head coach, not just a "splashy name". It is obvious Cowher has been spoken to by the Bills. Has he been offered the job? Nobody knows except the Bills organization and Bill Cowher. If he has not been offered the job, do the Bills intend on offering him the position? Nobody knows but the Bills organization. Maybe Cowher has been offered the job and is truly deciding on coaching versus retirement, not just if he would want to coach Buffalo or some other job. Granted, if his "dream job" opened, he would probably take that job immediately, as would any one of us. FWIW, Billick, Shotty Sr., Harbaugh, Grimm, and every other qualified coach in the NFL/college are still available. The only coach we wanted who is gone is Shanny, as this Pete Carroll thing was a big surprise. Now, if the top candidates start being picked off and we still don't have a coach in the mix, that's when I'll be worried. Personally I want Cowher number one, but would be very happy with Shotty Sr., and OK with Billick. Both former coaches who have done something in this league, and both are available with Billick being very public about his desire for the job. I am willing to let this all play out as I am confident the Bills have one or two guys targeted and would be willing to do what it takes...to a certain degree. As most people on this board feel, the longer this plays out, the worse the end story will be. We'll just have to wait and see. It doesn't end with the signing of the next HC anyway. We won't know for a few years if the right decision was made anyway, no matter if we sign Cowher, Billick or Fraiser.
  20. As far as I'm concerned, Billick is a pompous a**. Maybe that's not a bad thing. This team could use a little flair from the head coach. Also, he does tend to have good assistant coaches. If we don't land Cowher, which seems likely according to "reports", I wouldn't mind seeing Billick here. Think about it, instead of Buffalo Bill Cowher, we'd have Buffalo Billick!
  21. Kinda cute, reminds me of Ashleigh Banfield Nix http://www.thebachelorguy.com/images/blogs...inixglasses.jpg Banfield http://www.topnews.in/files/images/Ashleigh-Banfield1.jpg
  22. Because the Bills don't want anyone knowing who they are interviewing. Why start a bidding war if you don't have to. I can't imagine they don't have a short list by this point of most important targets....God knows they've had enough experience over the last 10 years to know how to do this...
