  1. Would like a coach with a pedigree, but Shanny? Don't know. Thing is the Bills lost him as soon as they telegraphed who they wanted. Just gave other teams ('Skins) a reason to move faster. Same old Bills story.. A day late and a dollar short.
  2. Honestly, I like PFT. But since he's joined with NBC, kinda been a schmuck. That has to be one of the most ridiculous "rumors" ever! OK, not quite as bad as Seifert at the aiport, but darn close. Why would any NFL team be cool with the league stepping in and giving a certain player to another team via draft? As one of the replies stated "I started a rumor, therefore it's a rumor"
  3. No cast on his arm? Guess I could fashion my own. Actually, with a little paint, it could be Spikes!
  4. Nope. What has Shotty Sr. proved as a GM? And why would I want a fired OC as my HC??
  5. It may just be posturing by the league regarding them wanting a new CBA by causing "financial insecurity" for some clubs. And yes, a rookie cap is much needed in the NFL. A poor draft pick can hamstring your salary cap. I say earn your pay.
  6. Any coach mentioned for a HC job is wise to say publicly that he is not interested, especially this early in the NFL coaching carousel. What the press tells us vs. what is really going on are two different things. First of all he losses bargaining power, and possibly a look from another team if he publicly states he wants a particular job.
  7. From what I heard it was T.O. Apparently he had a few words with JK and started crying and said something to the effect of "He's my quarterback". Seems like an unusual way for a future HOF WR to act, but it's what I heard.
  8. He's always reminded me of someone, but could never put my finger on it! Actually, it's kind of uncanny. http://blog.ctnews.com/giants/files/2009/10/paytonoswald.jpg FWIW, he's on of the "hot" assistants that's done a great job...helps to have Brees though.
  9. How rare is it when WE get to kneel down! (the DJ kneel downs prior to halftime don't count!)
  10. C'mon guys, RUB IT IN!!!!
  11. YYYEEEESSSSS!!!!!
  12. No brainer? For the Bills, yep. Watta ya got to lose.
  13. I take that back! WOW!
  14. Sorry if I missed it, is Freddie J hurt? WHAT THE HECK IS LYNCH IN THE GAME FOR! FG? WHAT!
  15. Take your time. Steady dose of Freddie J. C'mon line, get some push. Maybe a slant or two by Owens.
  16. Wow! Simmons looked bad on that sack.
  17. Nice knowin' ya Lynch! Freddie J!
  18. I really like Fitzy! isn't the answer at QB (or maybe he is), but man, he is fun to watch.
  19. He's been with every other AFC East team, just seems inevitable...
  20. Lucky to pick #7? Then I guess the Vikings were lucky to pick #28. Bettis? He may have been an emotional spark, but 368 regular season yards and 43 in the SB doesn't mean without him they would not have won. All personnel guys make mistakes. It was quoted on 97 Rock this morning that some NFL guy said if you hit .400 on your personnel decisions, you've done well. Cowher would bring energy to this club, game management skills, good personnel decisions and let's not forget other players in the league would want to play for him when it comes to FA. The end all is, if Ralph doesn't spend the money, we could have the very best coach at every position and it wouldn't matter.
  21. I did get caught up in the Shanny stuff, but ultimately the guy I want is: 1. Bill Cowher Was the brains behind both the personal and coaching before he left the Steelers. 2. Shanny 3. Dungy Long shot 4. Schotzy No way: Holmgren, Gruden. Both are not GM/coach guys. Holmgren kinda intrigues me, Gruden would be great on intensity and thats it.
  22. Phins 38 Bills 17
  23. Because the NHL isn't even a blip on the national sports scene.
