  1. "Whammy Weenie" http://www.forgottenbuffalo.com/forgottenb...ammyweenie.html Who the heck was the tool that thought up that promotion....
  2. I don't mean to be a PITA, but, if you all don't like his posts, then don't read them, or reply to them. I, for one, don't mind them because I think he actually has some good points. As for his "scoops", no one here can prove or disprove him.
  3. Even my wife laughed at that one!
  4. Thanks for posting. Couple things: 1. Forgot how mobile Kelly was, especially when they fumbled the snap on the Lofton TD. Didn't run real pretty, but got the job done. 2. Thurman was AWSOME! 3. Kinda nice watching a team you know could score at any time on offense. And defense too! 4. I remember back then a group of about 15 of us would gather at a friends house for every game, drink and watch the game. I remember saying to someone back then "Man, I'm sick of these easy games, how about a close game for once." How I would LOVE to say those words again!
  5. Per PFT he did cancel his gig with seattle today.
  6. Joe Montana. Best QB under pressure (Elway was a close second). Always felt confident he could pull out the win in the end, calm, cool and collected. Understood the intricacies of the offense like no one else, total student of the game. His mechanics were second to none, smooth throwing motion, great sense in the pocket. Was not cocky at all, just went out and won.
  7. If the Bills want him, it should have been a done deal weeks ago. It isn't tampering, unless you get caught. Personally, I'd bring him in. Like our prospects on the o-line, but wouldn't mind adding some veteran talent so we wouldn't need to depend on the rookies so quickly.
  8. With as fast as he is, and if his specialty is pass rushing, yep. Would rather see him standing up moving around rushing until he bulks up a bit. BTW, forget what DJ said about him being only a lineman. No way he tips his hat THIS early before even rookie camp started regarding how he will use personnel.
  9. Expected more from you. 'nuff said.
  10. Me either, that's why I posted it. Seems kinda weird to me.
  11. Good for him. I wish him well with his NFL career. Go Bulls!
  12. Lombardi was talking about what teams got value this weekend. He mentioned Maualuga (who went to Cinci) "took a lot of phone calls and turned them down". Do potential draftees actually say no to the team that wants them? If so, does the team give a darn and draft the player anyways? If so, glad we did not get him if he's dictating this early in his career.
  13. Gee, another corner. Didn't realize Reggie Corners contract was up yet.... Honestly. I would love to find out who is in charge of the DB's in the draft.....must be Ralph's wife or some sh*t like that....
  14. nope. DJ won't be happy until he has 1/3 of the roster signed as DB's! Maybe Wendling, but I do like Wilson though. Switched positions and has been more than admirable.
  15. i just have this picture in my mind of DJ pacing in the corner and Modrak looking at him with some trepidation saying, "Ok, Ok, just do it, draft another DB to get him off my back!" I would have added Wilson in, but he went to bed yesterday around the 3rd pick....
  16. I walked away from the TV for awhile while tossing the baseball with my son. Came back and hit rewind on my DVR to the point the selection came up on my TV. hee hee hee Was I surprised, NO! Just went to the fridge and grabbed another brew. The entire draft in my eyes is an A on paper. I guess just let DJ get his jollies by picking ANOTHER DB! Remember this, what round was Brady chosen? Well they say lightning does not strike twice...funny thing is it hit in NE first, and never here.... Dang Bills, what a crud pick!
  17. Kiper says Harris could have been 2nd round pick at safety if he ran better at the combine.
  18. Bowen was having a really good training camp prior to his injury. Also, only explanation as to why no LB in the draft, or FA. Unless they do get a LB in FA after the draft. Anyway, I did LOVE the Bowen pick last year, and do see him ing the starting lineup at some point.
  19. So what you are saying is any of the top 10 draft picks in the last 10 years are not as good as Ellison based on they had no NFL experience at that time???
  20. Why? Mitchell, Poz and Bowen start Thomas, Dig, and last years starter Ellison as backups. Whats the problem with that? BTW, a good pass rush (Maybin) helps our LB's. Also, I fully expect Maybin to get a shot at LB. Fast, burst, and size kinda lends itself to LB.
  21. as much as I love our draft, it has kinda fallen to us. Give props to the FO, as they have taken the righ players for us.
  22. Just like CB, we can't help ourselves....
