  1. Pass. With all the teams in front of us who need QB's, any QB who falls to pick 21 isn't worth wasting a first rounder on.
  2. Especially in a year with so many veteran QB's available, you're gonna draft the guy with the bigger upside and sign a veteran starter. I'd say Rosen, Allen, Trubisky, Darnold, Mahomes, Watson, Mayfield in that order. This years QB's will go a lot higher than last years due to need. Not looking good for Bills unless they want to move into the top 5 for the 3rd or 4th best QB in this class. Get Cousins.
  3. Curious what your thoughts were on Wentz in college. Did he show the ability to do these things at the FCS level?
  4. Can't go cheap when it comes to finding a QB. If Darnold, Rosen, Mayfield, or Allen are their guy and they can go up and get him, I won't complain if they give up a bounty. If Cousins is their guy and they 'over-spend' to get him, I won't complain about that. With so many teams looking for a QB, gonna have to go all in to get a QB they feel strongly about because other teams will fell strongly about that guy too.
  5. No way Cousins goes to Jets. They got good QB play out McCown and won 5 games. Plus Bowles is a lame duck coach. Outside of Denver, I think we are the best fit for Cousins and might even be a better fit than Denver. I'd prefer getting a franchise QB in the draft, but with our draft position the odds are extremely low of finding that guy.
  6. Kind of feel bad for that safety. The easy natural play is to come in front of the WR and knock ball down which he had plenty of time to do, but I'm sure he was told to not let the WR get to the sideline. So he goes behind the WR and is way too early because the ball is in the air a long time. He should've made the play on the ball instead of going behind the WR, but I'm sure he was told not to let the guy get to the sideline. Incredibly unlucky play on his part.
  7. Gotta at least try to go after Cousins if he hits free agency. He's a big upgrade over Tyrod. Draft is a crap shoot especially when you have the 21st pick. Hell, Mariotta went 2nd overall and Bortles went 3rd and I'd take Tyrod over both of them.
  8. Do we have the organization and coaching to produce a franchise QB? That's the big question. You have to pick the right guy, but you also have to put him in the right situation. Goff was well on his way to being a bust before a new coach turned him around. Wentz walked into a good situation in Philly. Solid O-Line and good organization. Cleveland could draft second coming of John Elway and I'd still think he has no chance of success with the current state of that franchise. Bills seem to be as stable an organization from top to bottom and in the best shape they've been in a long time. Now's the time to take a chance and go get the franchise QB. I'd go up for Darnold, but that's just one man's uninformed opinion.
  9. Where he was picked is irrelevant. No team in their right mind would sign Dareus to a contract approaching even 30% of his current one. Bills got out of that contract early and got a 5th rounder. We still made playoffs and having Dareus on team wouldn't have made any difference last Sunday. You think Belichik cares where guys were drafted when he cuts or signs players?
  10. Happy for Dareus, but the fact that Beane got a 5th rounder for a guy with his troubled past on that contract was robbery.
  11. Coaches are like players. You don't know what they're truly made of until you see them on the biggest stage. Smart wilted. Saban made all the right calls.
  12. Exactly. Chubb ran 18 times for 25 yards. Michel ran it 14 times for 98 yards and wasn't in the game the last 3 drives except on 3rd down. Stupidity. You think Saban would've had Michel on the bench and kept handing it off to Chubb?
  13. Payne from Bama, R Smith and Michel from Georgia are best players on the field. I'd be happy to land any of those 3.
  14. Id be shocked if he lasts until the late 2nd round. Have no idea why Georgia keeps putting in Chubb. Almost Shady to Tolbert dropoff. If Georgia kept giving the ball to Michel, game might be wrapped up.
  15. #48. Kid who had the unsportsmanlike penalty on kickoff. Saban and a few other coaches lit into him and set him off.
  16. How on earth is Chubb considered the better prospect than Michel?
  17. Who owns rights to old USFL films?
  18. Kid has great pocket awareness and guts. Throws some ugly passes, but he's only a freshman. Poor mans Deshaun Watson right now.
  19. Good lord. Hurts is like a cross between Tyrod and EJ Manuel. How do you not feel that pressure after standing in pocket for 5 seconds.
  20. This Michel dude can play. Some serious acceleration from a 220lb back. Can he catch the ball?
  21. It was conditional on win total. KC went from 2-14 in 2012 to 11-5 in 2013 with Smith. If Bills improve 9 games from last year, KC can have our entire draft. Point remains that KC got 5 good years from a 29 year old QB for a 2nd rounder and a conditional pick. A 34 year old QB with 13 years of mileage is not worth the same price.
  22. I'd be alright with getting Alex Smith but no way I'm trading a 2nd round pick for him. Reid got him for a 2nd rounder when he was 5 years younger. Plus there's probably never been as many decent vet QB's that'll be available as this offseason. They can have their 4th rounder back from the Ragland trade.
  23. If McCown can put up another year like he did this year, I think he'd be perfect fit to pair with a high draft pick. Won't have to pay him a lot of money and you could argue he was a top 15 QB this year with less to work with on offense than Taylor had.
  24. Somebody's gonna pay him a lot more than the Rams will as their 4th target. If we get a QB who actually throws downfield, I'd bring him back. Seems to have grown up a bit and his contract demands will certainly be lower than they were before the season. Maybe he's the type who thinks he has unfinished business in Buffalo. Him and Benjamin would be a nice 1-2 punch for a Bradford, Alex Smith or Cousins.
  25. Haha. Let's dial it up a notch. Brady is the OJ to Garropolo's Marcus Allen.
