D-line coach Eric Washington’s comments on Ed Oliver — hoo boy
SectionC3 replied to dave mcbride's topic in The Stadium Wall
As I read the comments, Washington essentially is saying that Oliver needs to prepare better--or, put simply, do his homework. It's kind of like reading the textbook in a class you're taking. It's funny how things are a lot easier and make a lot more sense if one actually bothers to read the book. Seems like the same concept here. -
Hopkins released by Arizona (7/16: signed by Titans)

Yes to 1. No to 2. Unless shorter is in to play the kumerow role from years gone by. -

I’ll get it back on track. Hopkins may have misread the market. It’s softer than we thought. There’s no DHop world tour right now. He probably has one or two decent offers, but my guess is nothing like he thought. The leak about the Bills suggests they’re the clubhouse leader and they want Hopkins to make a decision so that their offer isn’t subject to a lengthy shopping process. -

I had this thought yesterday. I’m not advocating for it. But if they want to get beefier and free up some money … it’s not the worst outcome. They probably have an extra DT hanging around now, anyway, and they gave guaranteed money to Settle, so there’s a good chance he sticks. And he’s probably the worst of the top 5. So maybe you’re on to something. -
Ross Tucker ranks NFL Coach’s, places McDermott at #22.

Except for Jacksonville. Which, you know, home field, 13 seconds and such. -

Hoax. You do it all the time. -
Diggs in the slot is the key phrase here. I hope we see a little more of that this year, especially with Kincaid here. It would be nice to have a guy who Allen trusts to run an option route on a gotta have it third down now and again. I wonder if the act was harder to swallow last year. I heard he was one of the guys who lost his “s” on the D on the plane after 13 seconds. I don’t know what you heard about that flight, but I heard it was nuts.

I'm fine with both. Harty probably is a 4 and an improved McKenzie. Perfect role for him. Maybe he is a part-time 3 if they go with a job share there until Kincaid is ready. Love the competition we're going to have in that position group.

I recall watching the first and playoff games against MIA last year and thinking who the eff is this guy. He was a bit of a menace. I appreciate him getting the sun in his eyes on the first snap of the playoff game. But it doesn't change the fact that he was open. He is a capable receiver. Bingo. I think it's a holistic improvement. Davis won't have to play a million snaps because we'll have a backup who can block. We can use Sherfield to put a little speed in the slot (think Daboll 2018 with Foster) to change it up a bit. Screen game theoretically should be better. Should help in the run game. All around solid addition. Think Kumerow but with more speed and better receiving skills.

How can ignore feature work better

I have to confess that I don't get it. I've never seen the Matrix. -

That's exactly the right attitude. This is harmless fun here. And, in general, life is to be lived and enjoyed, because it is fleeting and fragile. -

Should have found a cartoon to illustrate your point. Those aren't as easy to ignore. -

What’s so funny? All your post does is establish that you’re not the only one who made a stupid argument in this area. -

Hoax. Except for the part about you being a snowflake. -

Probably Ginni Thomas. She and Clarence are doing a fine job of delegitimizing the institution. It’s a shame. This is such a stupid point. There’s a concept in the law that criminals typically don’t announce their intent. This is not to suggest that any justice has done anything criminal. But the stupidity underlying the notion that something unethical has not occurred simply because nobody has said that they acted unethically in rendering a decision speaks for itself. I have no idea whether any sitting justice has acted unethically. But I also know that it would be extremely hard to demonstrate such a thing. Which is why a justice’s recusal is based upon the appearance of impropriety, not actual impropriety. -

It’s cute when MAGA thumps the constitution and then uses government to punish for the exercise of freedom of speech and action. Now apparently MAGA can’t stand discourse on an anonymous message board. What a bunch of snowflakes. -

Harlan probably is the guy who left the ***** hair on Thomas's Coke. I'm surprised it took us this long to solve that mystery. -

Solid point. I don’t know how it escaped me for so long. There is a strong possibility that HCQ man was hoaxed about HCQ because he’s hoaxing everyone else about being a physician. This is a revelation. -

Hoax. I don’t munch ivermectin or yell at clouds. But it’s good to know you channel your inner Abe Simpson and holler at cumulus objects round supper time. Nice try, HCQ man. -

There you go again, HCQ man. At least you took a break from yelling at clouds and munching Ivermectin to use this website. That’s a good thing. -
