@HOUSE can address this as well, but I read his post as meaning the Bills players would like to know Damar is going to live before they play again. Granted, nothing is guaranteed, but encouraging signs delivered personally to the team yesterday by Damar’s father probably went a long way toward giving the players some reason to feel things are headed in the right direction. If you are correct that they will find out today or tomorrow whether Damar will survive, I think the players will be ready to move forward with that news.

Hopefully this is poor sarcasm. Given the circumstances, I would guess the handling of Hamlin’s eligibility status has been discussed internally and with the league. It may be they just didn’t announce anything out of respect for his condition and family.

I agree with the premise of the OP. Usually, a team’s overall record or their improvement over a year’s time earns COY. But there have been some unique circumstance and challenges that Sean has had to navigate that the other contenders have not had to deal with. Ever. On that basis, Sean has definitely done the most amazing job of all the contenders. His team is meeting all preseason expectations despite many unique and difficult circumstances.

I’m not sure you’re allowed to use this type of phrasing these days. People that roll over and get taken advantage of might get offended. I don’t know - judging by many of the posts in these threads, there will be more than “a lot of” pissed off people.
