Tua ruled out vs Buffalo, Skylar Thompson expected to start
WotAGuy replied to Process's topic in The Stadium Wall
I resemble this remark. Cluck off. -
What happened to the Josh that was playing like Tom Brady at the beginning of the season? He has a few quick hitters every game but there are many more to be taken and he seems to be taking forever to find an open guy.

It will likely take 4 hours to play. I’m recording it because I’m bushed after going to the Bills game yesterday.

I didn’t feel the crowd was subdued, but I was surprised they didn’t do something to specially recognize Damar, like happened in the Saturday games. I was very impressed with the love the NFL showed him on Saturday. I was also surprised there weren’t Hamlin t-shirts available for sale pregame. No signs handed out or anything upon entering the stadium. That also surprised me. The crowd was so loud pregame, I could not make out the PA introductions of the first responders and missed that they had asked all first responders in the crowd to stand. As it turned out, the kickoff return made up for all that; people were going crazy but it was surreal and many of us were dumbfounded once it happened. It didn’t seem real!

Interesting take, coming from someone called “kiva”.

If you’re “unsure where the play calls for the ball to go” wouldn’t that make you……dumb?

He has a right to be wrong. And he’s not afraid to exercise that right. (Sorry, TB!🤣)

74 yards after catch.

So what ideas do you have for your disaster plan? ACTIONS TO TAKE IN EVENT OF PLAYER DEATH DURING GAME: 1) clear away blood and body parts to avoid creating a trip hazard. 2) allow players a 5-minute break and then 5 minutes to warm up. 3) allow team whose player died to designate a new captain, if the dead player was one. 4) ???

Not to mention, Baltimore is not gonna win that game, much less be up 21-0.

Agreed, but I do feel the Bengals got shafted in some regards. However, it still comes down to whoever plays the best, regardless of bye weeks, playing sites, coin flips, etc. I think the Bengals will use it as motivation and I just hope it’s not a Cincy-Bills AFC Championship game. Tough to see either one lose when pitted against each other after all that’s happened.

If Chiefs win on Sat. does Bills/Pats game matter (much)?
WotAGuy replied to ProcessTruster's topic in The Stadium Wall
If the Bills win, they are guaranteed no worse than #2 seed. Lose and likely #3, unless Cincy loses to Baltimore. -
I’m pretty sure the two options stated in the rule are: 1) The Chiefs get #1 seed 2) The Pats get a comp pick.

Wait, you mean you don’t know about the conspiracy?
-
You need to up your game then.

@HOUSE can address this as well, but I read his post as meaning the Bills players would like to know Damar is going to live before they play again. Granted, nothing is guaranteed, but encouraging signs delivered personally to the team yesterday by Damar’s father probably went a long way toward giving the players some reason to feel things are headed in the right direction. If you are correct that they will find out today or tomorrow whether Damar will survive, I think the players will be ready to move forward with that news.

Hopefully this is poor sarcasm. Given the circumstances, I would guess the handling of Hamlin’s eligibility status has been discussed internally and with the league. It may be they just didn’t announce anything out of respect for his condition and family.
