  1. Well, there was a lot going on last week and it could be he was thinking about Von as much as Sean’s situation. Maybe he was coached to not be specific about any of it, especially on national TV?
  2. 🤣🤣🤣
  3. Didn’t the ref in the pool report after the game say they will give warnings or guidance if asked?
  4. No, because that would have given the defensive player an advantage. I’m talking about plays like happened in the Colts game early this year when the QB got blitzed and fumbled but it was called back because a receiver got held. That good had no bearing on the play because the blitz and fumble happened so quickly.
  5. Diggs needs to show up big time next week. He’s been neutralized a lot lately.
  6. I’m no betting expert, but isn’t the line set to try and get equal money on each side? It’s not really a sign of respect, it’s just what they think will win the house money. Maybe it’s more a reflection of how the betting public perceives the Bills, but I imagine Cowboy fans will be all over that +2 for them.
  7. It just was an odd look for the face of the franchise to decline to comment when all he needed to say was “We support coach”. Hyde spoke up so clearly some players weren’t distracted by saying a few kind words of support.
  8. Honestly, these are the kinds of penalties that are most frustrating - ones away from the play or that have no impact on the play. The Bills uncharacteristically benefited from a few in this game, but they are frustrating to have happen, speaking as a general fan of football. I understand why they are important and have to be called, but……
  9. You got that right. Every one of my parlays was a goose egg. 🥲
  10. Apparently you aren’t married. 😂😂
  11. So if my wife asks if she looks fat in her new dress and I’m silent, she should stop reaching?
  12. So why are all the players suddenly so effusive in their praise now, but when the sharks were circling they were silent?
  13. Well, it was a little bit of an eyebrow-raising moment when Matt P asked Josh to speak about McDermott and he declined. Not everyone had a narrative. Some of us just wanted to hear some support for Sean and there was very little forthcoming. Glad to hear it now after a big win.
  14. Chiefs Planet yelling for Reid to be held accountable. Where have I heard that before?
  15. The Bills will only win if they play perineums to the wall. Nothing less will do.
  16. True but I also think it depends on the QB’s personality. I’m just spitballing here, but Josh strikes me as a big kid who is people-oriented and thrives on personal relationships. We saw how he and Diggs became brothers quickly early on. Josh strikes me as a loyal guy and I never got the feeling his endorsement of Dorsey was anything more than being loyal to the Dorsey. When Josh went zombie this year, I wondered if he was just lost personally/professionally because Dorsey isn’t the same personality that Daboll was. I’m hopeful Josh’s recent resurgence is due to a growing relationship with Joe Brady and will continue the growth we saw Josh make under Daboll.
  17. I don’t think this is about the players showing their support for McDermott with their play. I think this game is an opportunity for McDermott to prove his detractors wrong by making solid game management decisions, using timeouts and reviews wisely, and calling a defensive series that saves the game if it comes down to holding back Mahomes at the end. Any missteps in those areas causing the Bills to lose will only further fan the flames. My takeaway from the article, having read the first two parts, is that McDermott is not good under pressure and it carries over to the performance of “his” defense in particular. That aligns with what we have seen repeatedly this year and years previous.
  18. There are some hilarious comments in here.
  19. How did you arrive at this conclusion? Because you are a cancer to this board and see everything that way?
  20. I just read the second part and it is pretty depressing. My biggest takeaway is McDermott has a lot of good qualities to organize and instill discipline, but he’s so uptight and so bad in pressure situations, it’s hard to see the Bills ever winning a championship with him. I am definitely pro-Bills and generally give the benefit of the doubt to everything associated with the team, but the evidence presented aligns with the problems we have all seen in late game situations. The overwhelming evidence of McDermott’s demeanor and decisions far outweighs all the discussions in this thread about players buying trucks for coaches and ill-advised speeches. Sean is tight and fails under pressure. I have very limited inside info but do have access to a current Bill who recently signed. He basically has not liked any of his head coaches, except one. All he will say about Sean is “he only cares about defense”. My takeaway from that is most head coaches are unlikeable personally but their ability to lead players to play their best trumps all the other stuff. I’m doubtful Sean has that ability, in fact he has a penchant for bringing out the worst in his team at crunch time.
