  1. Aw, c'mon. When you qualify jokes like that, they lose all the humor. Besides, from reading the thread, it's apparent Sammy meant that remark for every NFL fan in existence - maybe every person with a job!
  2. When Donohoe was under fire and fans wanted him gone, I bought several t-shirts from a vendor outside the stadium that had a rude, but not obscene, Fire Donohoe message on them. I wore one and was carrying in several others. The first two gates I tried to get in would not let me in with the shirts. I had to turn the one I was wearing inside out and hide the others before I finally got in the third gate I tried. I didn't flaunt them once inside because I didn't want to get thrown out. I'm pretty sure we lost that game too.
  3. "...and here's the bathroom - where y'all work 9 to 5 doing your little job!"
  4. I also heard he said something about the fans' mommas being rather fat.........
  5. I respect your opinion on this, but am curious if you read the whole series of Instagram posts (that preceded Sammy's response), or just Sammy's single response post? I wonder how many people so offended here and coming down hard on Sammy actually read more than just his response post.
  6. His reference to "y'all little jobs" has taken on overly exaggerated meaning, IMO. The only way I can see someone unassociated with the Instagram post being offended by that phrase is if they are insecure about their job in the first place. Even if it was used to insult someone else, it still doesn't offend me in the least. It just sounds like a childish retort to some pretty offensive insults made to him. As for the grammar and punctuation - maybe he dictated the post and just didn't read it before hitting send? I can see how the software could confuse "wants" with "once", especially when spoken with an accent/inflection. And if you are looking for indicators of intelligence by someone's grammar (or even content) of social media posts, you are going to be repeatedly disappointed.
  7. Sully's job is to stir the pot. He usually succeeds. I don't get upset reading his stuff; he's either right on or trying hard but failing badly. Tonight he's right on.
  8. Wired feed to laptop; HDMI to 2015 Samsung smart TV (Yahoo app was not loaded). Worked better than expected, some minor stuttering, great HD quality picture but started to degrade intermittently over course of game. Since it was free I'm good with it.
  9. That's what happens when kids smoke kangaroo dung - bad things, man
  10. This takes me back to the early 1970s - I remember my Dad driving us east from Buffalo so we could watch home games that were being broadcasted out of Syracuse. I specifically remember doing that for the 1973 Monday Night game where OJ reached 1,000 yards in game 7 of that season.
  11. Now we have to fly to San Diego to watch the game??? Is there no end to this madness?
  12. Me too. I fact, I plan to demand a refund.
  13. @ProFootballTalkNFL’s streaming game on Yahoo to feature about eight minutes fewer commercials than normal broadcast http://wp.me/p14QSB-9Tg4 I know exactly how to spend those 8 minutes! I'll tell the old lady to expect 4 (ahem) "timeouts" during the game!
  14. I think the real story here is Domenica Davis of Weather Channel is very hot.
  15. 1. They suck 2. They suck 3. They suck 4. They suck 5. They suck
  16. "Cundiff" sounds like where a Gay kicker sticks his......kickoffs
  17. Wow - I am impressed! There is no way in hell I could have watched every part of every game over the past 15 years. I'd rather have watched baby seals getting clubbed to death than watch some Bills' games (i.e. the Giants game this year I turned off after the first INT as I knew where things were headed).
  18. It seems like there are a few things the team's management/coaching staff are over-thinking. In this case, they must have seen that Adam Jones was "this close" to taking one to the house last week, and decided to go back to the original plan - limit returns entirely. If successful, it's worth a roster spot - especially since the last roster spot is going to otherwise be held by not only someone "off the street", but someone 'living in a van down by the river'.
  19. I think most anything is fair game for humor, but draw the line at the televising of Bills' games. Not funny. If it wasn't so ridiculous I might have believed you. All you needed was a bogus link to Peter Pan.....
  20. Been faithfully following the team since the 1968 season. Amazingly, this is the historically worst stretch of seasons for an historically bad pro football operation. Sadly, what is happening is to be expected. Great preseason hopes dashed by the reality that they aren't anywhere near as good as those hopes. I have grown to not have expectations, but rather have learned to enjoy whatever good stuff happens and detach from the rest. But as long as people continue to be born, there will be new hopeful fans coming along. And like watching Lucy pull the ball away from Charlie Brown, it's both sad and funny to see the same thing repeat itself year after year.
  21. FYI for iPhone users: When a link doesn't work, if you press over the link until a pop up menu comes up, select "open in new tab" and the link should work.

  23. The part of WMS I remember most is walking through the streets and parking lot, into that depressing, drab gray concrete hulk, and then getting that first glimpse of the bright green field and red Bills logo. It was like watching the Wizard of Oz when it went from B&W to color.
  24. Maybe the last Bills tight end-around?
