This has and would happen again in Buffalo. As far back as 1975, Chuck Forman got hit in the eye by a fan-thrown snowball. I was at that game and it was a magical toss. Really, really freak occurrence, but nevertheless a classless move. I'm sure if last night's game was the Bills in OP and a hated team's QB got taken off the field, there would be cheers and debris raining down from some knuckleheads.

I got ya, but I was specifically thinking of how the PFs at the end came about and how Porter didn't get one. Bengals and Bills are the types of teams that always get screwed, or screw themselves, in those situations. Seldom see the Steelers, Pats, etc lose games that way. For whatever reason, it just happens across different eras of players, coaches and management - some teams just consistently get the screw. It's kismet! Not blaming the refs at all, it's just certain teams' fate.

There's no doubt in my mind there would be a fair number of Bills' fans doing the exact same thing if the game were going the way last night's went and (let's say) Brady had gotten hurt and taken off the field.

The difference in lessons between the Bengals' and Steelers' antics is this - some teams get a pass, and others get the screw. The Bills are the latter.

I think the excessive hours worked by coaches is baloney. Using the Bills' and Ravens' 2015 season records as a yardstick would seem to support Rex's approach over Harbaugh's. IMO coaches overthink and over analyze instead of working smart. If the players were to put in that kind of time, I think it would have more of an affect on performance.
