  1. I don't want to be in the lead heading into the last of the 4th Q; Brady will take them down and score every time. I'd rather we have the ball last, going for the win. Like at the end of the first half, we had Brady's number all game to that point, and then we let up on the pressure and they get a TD in 33 seconds. With the missed figgie that's a 10-point swing. WTF
  2. With respect to the Patriots receiving favorable treatment from the refs and league, I recall the same outrage during the 1970s when the Bills lost 20 straight to the Dolphins. There were many critical penalties that went against the Bills and some were pretty rare - like Pat Toomay getting an unsportsmanlike conduct for pushing a ref out of the way to make a tackle. If we had TBD back then, there would have been very similar threads about the Dolphins. We just could not beat them - because they had Shula, Griese and they were an overall better organization - by far.
  3. I'm pretty sure being married to Kathy Lee can induce CTE - THAT is traumatic.
  4. They should be thanking him. Didn't the Bills lose the game?
  5. He's strictly a numbers guy as well.
  6. Just say Phuket and go to Thailand
  7. Game went as many of us expected. It's old hat by now so no anger or frustration here. We still control our destiny, but Houston and KC are surging and they will be tough games. If we beat them both we will be on a good roll. Best part of last night was watching Brady get hit, frustrated, and screaming expletives at his line. That was beautiful to watch. It was also nice to hear Ray Lewis talk so positively about Tyrod in the pregame show. Tyrod sounds like a guy I want to root for. If anyone is a judge of high character guys, it's Ray-Ray.
  8. This is how I justify watching football.....
  9. I know! I didn't see any reasoning either! Whew! I'm glad at least you and I are on the same page!
  10. That's an insult to the word "reasoning".
  11. Jared may have preferred that to what he's likely to experience in prison.
  12. Wow. All that because Jared got three extra years? I can see you have many concerns about our system of justice and your post explains many things I did not previously understand about your position on this. So, thanks for taking the time to spell things out. And I appreciate you accepting my apology.
  13. I know, right? I'd try to connect the dots for Tom, but I'm trying to watch a football game here.
  14. "I really don't want to be rude but this post is just so incredibly stupid on so many levels. You're so far out of your depth, and you don't even know enough to know how far out of your depth you are. If you had a clue you'd be embarrassed for having said this." See what I did there? Never mind......
  15. I can't help you, you're an idiot. 😇(I was responding to a specific poster by referencing statements I made in an earlier post)
  16. If my first statement is incorrect, I apologize. If it is correct and you were wrongly accused and sentenced for a crime you did not commit, I am very sorry and apologize. I stand by my second statement; if you don't commit a crime you have nothing to worry about. If you are worried about the "flaws" in the system in general, exercise your vote, take up residence elsewhere or find a way to lobby for change. Using the example of a child molester getting a few years added to his "honorable deal" is a pretty poor venue for making the points you are trying to make, regardless of their validity. I stand by my third statement: not committing crimes is not that difficult.
  17. Me thinks Rob has gotten the shaft from a judge more than once! If you don't want to risk getting screwed by a flawed system, don't commit a crime. It's really not that difficult of an accomplishment.
  18. Let him fair catch every one. Why risk injury when we have proven we cannot return a punt without a blocking penalty.
  19. I would say that's the risk you run when you are a child molester. The judge sets the sentence, not the prosecutor. It seems highly unlikely the deal that was struck didn't come with a proviso that "anything can happen".
  20. Gotta tell ya - this is my favorite thread right now.
  21. How is that a miscarriage of justice or a threat? Isn't the judge within his rights to act as he did? Why does he HAVE to go along with some deal that a prosecutor cut? That doesn't seem like an abuse of power, but rather an exercise of his discretion. If the deal cut isn't a fair one in the public interest, then he did the right thing. And anyone that cops to a crime like that doesn't deserve to be honored with a deal that others (i.e. a judge) deem unfair. In this case, maybe he took the plea so as to not have everything he did come out in detail during the trial. Those revelations could have been horrific. And I'm not directing these questions to you specifically as a challenge, but rather out of my own ignorance of the specifics of the process in play.
  22. I read Sully for the same reason I listen to WGR - so I'll have some context for all the "hate" threads. Lot of them to keep up on! Maybe they should be pinned....?
  23. King has written a very interesting Part 1 of a series on game planning with the Cardinals - I had no idea they were using virtual reality hardware for game planning. Good stuff: http://mmqb.si.com/mmqb/2015/11/17/nfl-carson-palmer-arizona-cardinals-inside-game-plan
  24. Let's not muddy the waters with facts.
  25. I say we send this guy to Brady's hotel room the night before the game. I bet he "oversleeps" and misses the game.
