  1. Bills' offense went from 21 to 24 PPG between 2014 and 2015. Bills' defense went from 18 to 23 PPG between 2014 and 2015. I think Tyrod is the guy, until they find someone better. And they need to keep looking and not stand pat because of Tyrod's injury potential and as a backup plan in case he does not continue to improve.
  2. Gamblers, FF addicts, Redskin fans among others. Bills fans? Probably not so much.....
  3. "The bloviating podophiliac" would be a great name for a band.
  4. Sully hate > Shady hate
  5. Can't wait to see the yellow flag up on The Wall of Fame
  6. Subway Fresh Take!
  7. This. At first I thought he had lost a contact lens.
  8. Did I miss the "bags on the head" game yet?
  9. Again! Facts. What have we learned about facts on this board?
  10. Finally! Something we can all rally behind and root for!
  11. Aren't most QBs shorter than the typical O- and D- linemen? Isn't that why they have the term "passing lanes"?
  12. "We're complaining"? Maybe you are complaining but I am not. I simply pointed out the loss today rendered last week's win meaningless. I didn't have any expectations for them to win out, as KC, Carolina and maybe the Jets and Pitt appear to be in a position to do.
  13. The Bills have yet to beat a team that's played a good/great game against us this year. We need other teams to utterly fail in order to win. That goes back to last year's win against GB.
  14. I was thinking specifically in terms of teams that came into existence after the Bills. There are now only 6 teams that predate (or are contemporaries of) the existence of the Bills that have not won a Super Bowl (Cardinals, Lions, Browns, Titans (Oilers), Chargers, Eagles). That's sad.
  15. I remember him hitting Shady over the middle on 3rd down for a 1st down. I thought Tyrod has done a pretty good job this year so far. He's a first year starter, and as a back-up in Baltimore behind a QB who seldom was hurt, Tyrod probably didn't get many practice reps the past 4 years. He's not a franchise guy yet, but he's better than Fitz was for us, and everybody that has preceded him up to Flutie.

  17. Don't forget Miami (1966 entry)
  18. Actually, I kind of expected a loss, but was pleasently surprised. However, it was just the first of a series of "must-wins", due to their inability to play consistent winning football during the earlier portion of the schedule. So, as of last week, they had won a meaningful game - but it was only meaningful if they won out. Unfortunately, it was rendered meaningless by today's loss, because they had to win out and failed.
  19. He has shown more than I think anyone could have reasonably expected. Need to see progress next year though. You draft a viable QB every chance you get, regardless of the round or year. If you believe in him, take him.
  20. Meaningless........after today.
  21. A long history of lousy coaching choices. The last coach they had that was any good got fired, as were their last two good GMs. It appears Pegula may have continued that trend.
  22. I've often thought that the Bills should be directional punting in general. But I recently heard a radio interview with Pat McAfee, the Colts punter, about kicking out of bounds. His response was to the effect that there are incredibly gifted athletes coming after the punter and there's not enough time to angle the kick - he said you just have to get the kick off. Now, maybe he's a particularly poor directional kicker, but he's pretty open, so I would expect him to have just said that outright. So, what he said must have some truth to it. Pat is on the Bob and Tom radio show every Tuesday. Bob and Tom is a nationwide program from Q95 in Indy, airing from 6 to 10 ET. Really funny stuff - it's on 105.9 in Syracuse and on the web/Tunein, iHeart radio etc.
  23. I like where you are going with this! In fact, from 1990 to 1993, we made the Super Bowl every year. See where I'm headed with this! CHAMPIONSHIP!
