  1. I'm addicted to Bills' wins - love the in-game success, love reading their stats, love reading the losing teams' interviews and newspaper articles - I'm addicted to it all and love the high. But, I've been in rehab for 16 years straight now and I don't know if I'll ever get back on the street and catch a buzz again.
  2. If you read "Collision Low Crossers", none of this about Rex will surprise you.
  3. Maybe this is the look the restaurant was going for....
  4. "According to the report, the victim told police he would rate his intoxication level as “11 out of 10.”" That'll do it every time! Read more here: http://www.myrtlebeachonline.com/news/local/crime/article46004475.html#storylink=cpy
  5. The devil made him do it.
  6. Can't hurt to have God on your side - but He might not help either.
  7. How is it the fans' fault that we recognize incompetence and want to see improvement (i.e. change)?
  8. Looks like the consensus fall guy will be Rex......
  9. Home team has been dropping games in this series lately. Bills have won 3 of last 4 at Arrowhead. Statement game that shows these Bills are for real: 20-17
  10. .....Brrrrrrr
  11. .....but less painful than admitting that your beloved team/organization sucks.
  12. I don't think anyone in this thread is assigning blame for all 15 years of futility. The administration, coaches and players have all changed over the past 15 years, so other than the owner and his key chiefs, no one has been here for the whole time. I read the OP as saying the fans and media will be looking for a fall guy for this year's failure to make the playoffs (if it happens) because the longer the streak of futility continues, the less patience there is for standing pat.
  13. Isn't it though? I started my Bills addiction in 1968, so I am used to years of failure - but somehow grew to love them anyway. I still love them but don't really expect much from them. Having low expectations means I am surprised and happy when they simply knock Brady on his ass and make him swear at his O-linemen!
  14. Exactly. Even Pavlov's dog is hiding under the bed, waiting for the inevitable!
  15. Well, this is the time of year when the Bills have come up small 15 years in a row. Their motto could be "Expect Failure". So, feeling like they are going to seize the day doesn't necessarily come easy.
  16. In all fairness, I read the "failure" to be the playoff drought, not the current state of the team.
  17. You are a brave man, starting a thread with that question!
  18. Filling in for GBID - she doesn't look 35 and no.
  19. I cannot have a full stomach when watching a Bills game. At best, indigestion - at worst, a mess to clean up. This ^^^ It seems every big/sensational play has a flag. It's more a lousy reality show than sporting event.
  20. Drunk OP or not, I'm on board with the premise. This is the time of year when the Bills can make a statement and establish themselves as a major playoff contender. But ever since the infamous Steelers game, they always lose at this juncture. Or, they have ended up having the ridiculous playoff scenarios where every contending team has to lose out for the Bills to make it in. The Chiefs game is the test to set themselves apart as not just a contender for a wild card, but to actually win a game or two in the playoffs. If they lose to the Chiefs, they are pretenders. Houston will also be a good test, but it's at home. If the Bills beat the Chiefs on the road, I will be shocked, but will be on board the bandwagon that I jumped off quite a few years ago.
  21. Well, it did hook you into posting!
  22. Are the fireworks part of the show or is there an electrical fire? #WTF
  23. I'm thankful that the Bills exist and have been touchstone memories of times with my father (RIP), my sister, my best friends and 80,000 maniacs on many, many Sundays. The Bills have also taught me about acceptance and what the true priorities are in life (one of them is not NFL football). Happy Thanksgiving.
