  1. Sorry, just a joke. No offense intended. They changed the game time last Monday. Not sure what you were looking at all week.
  2. Delete seems to be the appropriate action 🤣. I just copied that; I’m not a mod, but I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night!
  3. [This is an automated response] As a courtesy to the other board members, please use more descriptive topic titles. A single game is far too vague to post as a title and provides little insight into what specifically the post is talking about. The topic starter can edit the topic title line to make it more appropriate, or just delete this abomination. Thank you.
  4. Is 1974 when you fell asleep?
  5. Honestly, I wouldn’t mind watching that game if the Bills weren’t on. Would LOVE to see the Pats lose it. I’m enjoying watching the Chiefs in a dogfight too
  6. There are a lot of those kind of knuckleheads that stream live via Twitter, Facebook and have their stuff on YouTube. It’s only entertaining for about 60 seconds. There was a guy that did Dolphins play by play and his reaction to the game where Miami lost in ridiculous fashion at the end was hilarious.
  7. There’s an article in today’s Buffalo News that sheds some light on the capacity in the new stadium and data comparing tickets sold to turnstile numbers between 2015-2019. https://buffalonews.com/sports/bills/why-buffalo-bills-plan-to-reduce-seating-capacity-despite-building-a-bigger-stadium/article_98cf44be-68f2-11ec-a0d8-ef495b50e812.html “None of these factors is sustainable, which is why the Bills plan to reduce the capacity in their new stadium to between 60,000 to 62,000 seats and a general admission, standing-room-only party deck with space for up to another 5,000 fans.” “Highmark Stadium, which opened in 1973, is a little over 900,000 square feet, while the Bills plan to build a new stadium that would be about 1.5 million square feet” “Raccuia said the Bills’ new stadium would use the additional square footage to incorporate food preparation and maintenance facilities – these are located outside of Highmark Stadium – and to create more temperature-controlled areas and significantly wider concourses. Bills fans can also expect better wireless internet access, bigger monitors and multiple video boards to better compete with their viewing experience at home, as well as increased comfort” “A financial impact report commissioned by the Bills, which was included among the documents made public last week by New York State, included a breakdown comparing average paid attendance and turnstile attendance from 2015 to 2019. Paid attendance was 64,070 per game, while turnstile was 55,454. That’s for a 10-game season, which means preseason games may slightly suppress the numbers. The Bills’ average paid attendance this season through eight regular season home games is 68,196, which ranks 14th out of 32 teams, according to ESPN data. It also amounts to 95.2% of stadium capacity, which ranks 20th in the league.”
  8. How did this beer into a GoBiilsInDallas thread?
  9. I think he called Poyer the worst thing you can call someone on the football field: “ref”
  10. He’s gotta have the record for most pressures without a sack. I can’t figure how he doesn’t have more sacks. If we had Jerry in his prime right now…. Its going to be difficult to get more sacks next year - Mario and Jerry are not going to do it and I don’t see the Bills spending in FA for someone decent. I think they will run with AJ, Rousseau, and Boogie and see if they can break out.
  11. It’s clear the Pats practiced outside that week; how else would they know Mac can’t throw into a breeze?
  12. All I remember is that if Wade had just worn a headset, the Bills would have won the Super Bowl.
  13. Demolished and make room for parking perhaps. The structure is 50 years old and is becoming structurally unsafe.
  14. Honestly, I can’t remember individual teams, but by decade: 1960s Green Bay 1970s Pittsburgh 1980s San Francisco 1990s Buffalo 2000s New England
  15. Can’t wait to see how Jacksonville’s “clown out” goes this weekend. I have new found respect for those fans.
  16. Between this and the dome threads, we need a whining emoji 😩
  17. What’s crazy is if you flipped final scores, the Bills would be 6-10. Amazing!
  18. I’m old I know, but I keep remembering the Jets lost to the Bills the year the Jets won the Super Bowl. The Bills were 1-12-1 that year.
  19. Doesn’t matter if they win out from here.
  20. Bills played them in the wild card a couple weeks later. Was at that game in about the second row at around the 30 yard line on Bills side. Don Shula’s last game as a coach. Pay back for the 1970s.
  21. It’s funny how the pants, when hanging on the wall like that, look like pajama bottoms. Where can I get some? They would be perfect for my trip to Walmart later.
  22. I just don’t think the Bills care about this issue of late season game attendance; they probably have a plan to make it more tolerable, like heated areas to have a drink and watch the game. The Bills are a multi-billion corporation. They know the market. They will be focused on selling licenses and season tickets. They won’t be depending on people buying/using tickets to late season games because the tickets will already be sold. I can see why you and others that buy extra season tickets as an investment (either financially or as a business-related “gift” for customers) are concerned about being able to dump your late season tickets. But the Bills already have your money and they don’t care.
