We have a 12-year old Maltese shih tzu mix that has diabetes. It’s expensive. He’s on 7 units twice a day. The insulin pens are obtained via regular pharmacy, as he uses human insulin. I can sometimes get the pharmacy to accept a GoodRx coupon which saves about 30%. The needles are about $1 a day for the two shots needed. We had the vet put a monitor on him and that’s how we adjusted his dosage. He would only keep the monitor on a couple days before pulling it off but we were able to get enough data after a couple tries. It’s expensive and it limits our options when we need to leave him with others when we travel. I thought about just putting him down, but my wife wasn’t having it. He’s adjusted pretty well to the whole thing. The “shot” is nothing more than a pin prick and he’s really good about it because he gets a treat after 🤣 We use green beans and sweet peppers as a healthy snack instead of carrots now. It seemed overwhelming but it’s pretty simple and he’s doing fine.

I saw in another thread that once you are positive for Covid, you don’t get tested again for a long time. Maybe the Bills are going to replace the entire team with Covid-positive castoffs.

I know a bunch of guys that will put a roof on the sucker for 10% of that.

My doctor told me I could test positive for up to three months after having Covid. I wonder how many of these vaxed guys with Covid are actually testing negative twice in a row afterwards. Is there the same 10-day waiting period if they continue to test positive?

Allen is one of the most exciting players in the league and it always feels like we have a chance when the game is on the line with him - even though he hasn’t closed the deal a lot this year. Kelly was prone to mistakes at the end of games early in his career, so I have faith Allen will learn to close out games successfully.

I get being bummed about the NFL season going the way it’s going. But it’s not the center or focal point of my life and there are many things to be grateful for and excited about if we just look around us with an open attitude. Merry Christmas Ethan!

If you do some research and count the plays that both Gabe and Sanders have been on the field together, you’ll see you are just making crap up.

You’re just making crap up now. I never said Sanders sucks. I have given statistical proof his production has fallen off. Gabe deserves to play over Sanders, period. And no, I’m not talking about the Pats game. If they are playing different positions, it’s a moot point because then they can both be on the field at the same time.

In the first 6 games he had 413 yards and 17 YPC. In the last 7 games he’s played he has 193 and 12 YPC. Maybe not a cliff, but a steep hill. 🤣

Sanders was really good early in the year but he’s fallen off a cliff since about mid-season. He’s 34 and it’s to be expected. Gabe is ready, willing and able to switch roles with E.

They were completely one dimensional and beat the Bills, so I’m not seeing the positive here.

Watching the RBs in that game yesterday only reinforced the Bills having nothing close to the caliber of Taylor or even Stevenson.
