  1. They know exactly how much “human demand” there is because they know you guys have season tickets that you resell. That’s why they made it harder for out of town accounts to buy season tickets. You act like you have some secrets the Bills don’t know about. 🤣 Positive. I couldn’t get anything other than Syracuse stations.
  2. Of those, I was at the Chiefs, Dolphins and Jaguars games and am pretty sure I bought tickets from the Bills as opposed to scalpers, except for the Dolphins game. That used to be a lot of fun though, roaming up and down Abbott Road, checking who had the best seats at the lowest price, waiting as long as possible, right before kickoff, to get the best deal.
  3. If his Mom is at the game, I may need to go to the game. 😍
  4. I remember the Comeback game wasn’t on in Buffalo because my family came out to watch it on the Syracuse station. It’s the only playoff game I remember being blacked out, although I didn’t pay attention to the playoff games I attended in person. But I remember it seemed like at least once a year games needing to be bought out at the last minute to not be blacked out. I don’t know how many playoff games fell into that category.
  5. Wow. That was fast. Where did you find that info?
  6. Sounds like you need to do your own research to answer your question. I’m not sure where you would be able to find that information except from old newspaper articles?
  7. The Comeback game wasn’t sold out. Others only sold out when certain businesses bought up the excess tickets.
  8. Of course they have a plan. The Pegulas are going to be making a substantial investment in the new stadium. They know the current market and know what it will take to sell out the new stadium.
  9. The irony of starting a non-football related thread complaining about non-football related marketing on the football side of the board.
  10. This is why the Bills don’t care if the resale market is soft. They have nearly sold out the entire place with season tickets. They got their money.
  11. Probably because they figure the place will be mostly sold out anyway via season tickets, so the no show seats aren’t that big a deal to them.
  12. If you read the fine print when you signed up for the mailing list that’s exactly what you did.
  13. The comments at the end of this article are tremendous.
  14. It’s only a problem if playoff tickets are available for $8.
  15. It was a big enough deal to start a thread about it….🤔
  16. That’s a really good point. I’m sure it was addressed by the Players Association in the negotiations for the additional game but I’ve never read anything about how.
  17. You wrote: “but it's enough to get me to unsubscribe from the team's marketing emails”. That sounds like you are offended or upset. What else do you expect from “marketing emails”? 🤣
  18. If you are that offended by advertising life must be hard for you.
  19. If you don’t see the difference between an O-lineman getting hurt and Josh going down, I guess we’re done here.
  20. I’m not “you guys”. And I’m not saying Josh is not successful and effective. I’m saying it’s not sustainable and that our line and RBs don’t instill confidence in their ability to take the load off Josh to save him from excessive risk.
  21. The o-line is showing signs of life. I just don’t trust them to get tough yards when they need to run for them in short yardage or red zone. Maybe I’ll have more confidence if they put up 150-200 yards on the Jets. Trubisky - the issue there is he can’t escape the rush and make spontaneous throws like Josh can. Running isn’t the issue with Trubisky - he won’t be able to hide the o-line’s weaknesses the way Josh can. Trubisky seems to be a pretty good runner actually. He just doesn’t have the improvisation skills Josh has and which make this offense go.
  22. Singletary averages less than 50 yards per game. When the Bills need to run it in the red zone or on 3rd and short, they were not successful most of the year. They are improving recently and the performance against Atlanta in the red zone and at the end of the game was encouraging. But having your QB be very nearly your leading rusher is not sustainable. It means he is taking an exponentially greater number of hits every game and the risk is the team is likely not going to be competitive offensively if he goes down. Trubisky is just not capable of doing the things Josh does to extend drives. At this point in the season, they have no choice but to keep riding Josh’s arm and legs, but they need a RB with a better skill set than Singletary if they are going to conserve Josh for the long haul. The line is performing better of late and that too is encouraging.
  23. I read that article today and thought it was overly generous to Josh. I believe Josh would say the same thing about it. Every QB has their days - the Bills beat Green Bay when Rodgers had some picks, but Josh was all over the place Sunday. Hopefully he’ll go back to taking those check downs and play it a little safer in the playoffs. Cannot afford TOs in the playoffs.
  24. Not very. The run defense is not consistent, nor is the run game. Josh was the most dependable aspect of the team until Sunday. The whole team just seems to be on the edge this year - you can almost tell from the first series on O and D how the game is going to go. I’m not sure they can string together three excellent games in all three phases to make the Super Bowl. To do so, they are going to need the other team to help by playing a subpar game.
