Seriously though. Every team with a name of 3+ syllables typically gets shortened, e.g. Bucs, Pats*, Niners, Cards. I guess when you think about it some of those sound dumb too out of context. They probably end up being referred to as the "Comms"...or they really just stick to their guns (no pun intended) with Commanders.
