  1. Yes, that was one hell of a pretty hand off. I don't agree with this even a little. Allen looked much better than Mac Jones. The Patriots* offense looked better than us, because we couldn't stop the run, and they won, but if you compare the 2 QB's in a vacuum (or in this case, a wind tunnel) , Allen looked better than Jones. Besides this, my point was really that the weather did Allen stats no favors, because when you look at the season numbers in total, there is no footnote that says he was relatively effective in 50MPH+ winds.
  2. They were IN the right position to stop the play, they just read the play wrong and lost their battles. Perfect storm.
  3. The wind game did him no favors. The stats don’t tell the story of how good he was given the weather conditions. If you compare his performance to Mac Jones in the same conditions, his numbers look phenomenal.
  4. Moss makes sense to me. He’s he closest thing to a “power RB” that we have.
  5. Well, they are winning games, but beating the Mike Glennon led NY Giants, is hardly an indication of being a hot team.
  6. Didn’t all 3 score against the Jets?
  7. So I've been watching ESPN and NFLN all week and I'm curious; does anyone know who the Patriots* are playing on Monday? All of the coverage is about how awesome the Pats* are and how whoever they are playing is going to struggle on both sides of the ball, but they haven't really said anything about their opponent. Whoever it is, I feel bad for them because the Patriots* are clearly the best team in the NFL...
  8. You have a job with an office? and employees? Impressive!
  9. Thanks for the free towel?
  10. Yes, but most of us are not NFL analysts. He SHOULD try and analyze the teams rather than state opinion as fact.
  11. To all of these fools on ESPN, NFLN etc saying they would rather have Mac Jones than Josh Allen, you are out of your ever loving minds!!! Willie McGinist just said Mac Jones is a better QB and Allen will struggle because the Pats* D is so good. Are you freaking kidding me?! I knew w he is a Pats* homer, but C’mon Man!! Haha! I heard a similar take earlier on NFL Live. They must’ve all gotten the memo on how to dismiss us as a soft, pass happy team.
  12. Two questions: 1. He could have said no, right? 2. Do they have to keep him on their active roster the rest of the season, or just one week?
  13. I was just thinking the other day that in the draught years, I would be panicking right now (after Tre’s injury) and preparing mentally for the inevitable downward spiral. Happily, I do not feel like that now. I believe enough in this team to believe they will do what it takes to win the division. McD is good against rookies and I believe he will find a way to beat Jones twice.
  14. Agreed. Honestly, it is the main reason I am not completely panicking about losing Tre. He obviously can’t truly be replaced, but our D line will hopefully make his replacement’s job a little easier.
  15. I have been here for 20 years and I believe this is the best post I’ve ever read. Bravo!
  16. His body lies a-smoldering in the grave...
  17. Ha! that is funny. You are totally right, that was our go to for years, especially in his early years.
  18. Crap. He will offset some of Tasker’s votes.
  19. I’d feel better if Devin Hester wasn’t there too? Did Hester make semi final list?
  20. @HappyDays, I wanted to thank you for the weekly write ups that you do on this. I have an Athletic subscription, but I don’t get to it daily. Your synopsis is a good preview and a reminder to go read the whole article.
  21. Before this game I kept saying Josh Allen was weather proof, so I loved having teams have to come to Buffalo and face us in the elements. Unfortunately, I am no longer confident that this is the case. A power RB like Jonathan Taylor is much better suited for a game like this, than our pass based Offense. At the end of the game, I said "I guess we need a dome after all".
  22. Ha! That’s what I was thinking. This just means Bills fans stuffed the ballot box.
  23. I believed from the beginning that Ed Oliver would be a stud this year, so it is not really unexpected to me, but in general I think he is a surprise stud to many this year. especially those fans who were writing him off after his rookie season. Additionally, for many of the same reasons Star is probably a surprise stud as well. He is a difference maker.
  24. I don’t disagree. I personally do not drive high and only drive after a few drinks occasionally. Luckily my wife barely drinks and is often my designated driver. I Uber if we both plan on drinking a bunch. my point was more the “don’t break 2 laws at the same time” concept. I certainly don’t condone impaired driving.
