I remember reading an article during the season that said he was playing with a partially torn ligament in his knee and would not get it repaired until after the season. I assume that he has gotten this surgery by now, even though I never heard anything else about it. If you want an actual answer, it is primarily because of how powerful our Offense is. We focus on a Defense designed to limit our opponents passing game. For the most part, if a team tries to grind it out and run against us, we are confident enough in Josh Allen’s ability to score quickly, which gives us a huge advantage. It doesn’t always work, so we get the occasional clunker, like the Jags game last year, but in general, it is a recipe for success.

Damn, Chargers are heavily investing in their Defense.

This is going to be a feeding frenzy for teams that want a potentially elite QB. This will cause a stir in the QB market. I just wish he would end up in the NFC, which seems unlikely.

I meant Edmunds and a 4th for DK. The swap of 25 for 40 was suggested by someone else, which I would rather not do.

My heart says Khalil Mack, because I have always wanted Mack in Buffalo, but I voted CMC, because that one seems feasible to me. IF CMC can stay healthy, which would hopefully be possible because we could "lighten his workload", he would elevate an already potent Offense, to the next level. By the way, Gronk is the other one that seems feasible, but it would be slightly less impactful. The rest seem highly unlikely.

Well stated. The detractors just think that because of where he was drafted, he should be Aaron Donald by now. I on the other hand, like you, enjoy watching him play and hope he signs his second deal with the Bills. I personally believe he is nowhere near his ceiling yet, which is why I hope he sticks around.

I have done this before on credible information that I have received from someone in the know as well. (Years ago I knew one of our coaches). I appreciate you sharing what you heard despite the slings and arrows it brings with it. As far as Horrible Harry, I would love for him to remain with the Bills, but only if they do not have to overpay for his services. Hopefully the market is not there, but most likely it is.
