  1. I am convinced that our running issues are more about the Offensive line than it is who is carrying the ball. I could be wrong...
  2. But no matter what, he will sign this week. No sense in losing out on that game check. 😛
  3. Or that it is more robust, no? If there is one offer, you take it right away, if there are multiple, you need to evaluate the options.
  4. I am not convinced that this is true. I think he can still play at a high level, but the risk of injury, combined with the bad attitude when things do go his way, are not work the potential upside. He will be best with a strong willed QB like Rodgers or Russell Wilson. (Or Brady, although I don’t see it happening)
  5. Green Bay is a good fit from a culture perspective. (Wisconsin may keep him out of trouble) Now that he cleared waivers, does Cleveland owe him any money? I imagine him taking a one year vet minimum type of deal, to be with a contender.
  6. you appear to be right.
  7. What a horse crap call. That official threw a hip into Marsh and then threw flag for taunting. Total bs.
  8. Yeah, I didn’t list this as an option initially, but the more I think about it, the more I could see it happening.
  9. Quinton Morris elevated. I have been looking forward to seeing him in action. Hopefully he gets an opportunity and rises to the challenge.
  10. Would it make sense for them to take on that contract? I am guessing he clears waivers and then goes to a contender as a 1 year rental. He could sign for vet minimum, since the Browns already had to pay him over $12 million.
  11. Lions are the number 1 pick, so this could happen. I laughed because Odell's head will explode if the Lions or Jags take him off of waivers.
  12. I guess we can vote there and give our reasoning here.
  13. No, I remember unfortunately. I just hope that between Diggs, Sanders, Beasley, Davis and Knox, as well as other role players, we will avoid that issue this season. Besides, Beckham is just as likely, if not more likely, to be one of those dinged up receivers. He has not been able to stay healthy for some time now.
  14. He affects team chemistry and derails everything we have been building for the past several years. Risk is not work the reward in my opinion.
  15. I absolutely would not want him here. Too many mouths to feed as it is and it only works if you can keep your ego in check. Odell would be highly likely to negatively impact team chemistry.
  16. I tried to create a poll but apparently @Chandler#81 wasn't feeling it. I voted the Saints. Most likely not a fit culturally, and he will probably be looking for a Super Bowl contender, but I thought the LSU tie might be strong enough to make this work.
  17. Ok, time to call your shot, where will Odell end up for the rest of this season? Tell us why you think he is going there, and if you think he will make an impact. (positive of negative)
  18. Maybe we should. That would be a great rebuttal. Jags fans annoyed the crap out of me last time I was there. (Playoff game)
  19. Bills working out a potential replacement for Poyer... just in case.
  20. Multiple holding penalties that go uncalled, tend to compromise gap integrity. Just please not on Thanksgiving.
  21. Tiger Woods used to always say, it is not how many shots are between me and the Leader that matters, it’s how many other golfers that matters. I believe his point was if one or two players were ahead of him he trusted his ability enough to make up any deficit, but if there are 10 players between him and the lead, even if the gap is closer, there are many more variables to overcome. This is how I feel about the AFC. Way more variables to overcome. PS: per the bold part above, Josh Allen and the Bills said hi.
  22. Haha! I can see it now. The new head coach was watching practice and Peterman walked by. He immediately said “oh crap! Peterman is still here? I thought Gruden took him with him. Cut him immediately!”
  23. You think he road to the SuperBowl is easier in the AFC? There are 5 teams in the NFC that have a shot (Tampa, GB, Cardinals, Rams and Cowboys primarily) but in the AFC, there are at least 10 in the conversation (Buffalo, Chiefs, Ravens, Chargers, Browns, Bengals, Steelers, Patriots,Titans, Raiders maybe Colts?) Maybe you’re right that the NFC is more top heavy, but the AFC is much deeper in my opinion.
  24. I am looking at tickets now, because it is only a 5 hour drive for me, but I haven’t seen any “deals” yet. I can’t imagine this game will be anywhere near a sellout.
  25. Good. I believe that Beane is constantly searching for ways to improve this team, without mortgaging the future. Happy to have confirmation.
