  1. I’d feel better if Devin Hester wasn’t there too? Did Hester make semi final list?
  2. @HappyDays, I wanted to thank you for the weekly write ups that you do on this. I have an Athletic subscription, but I don’t get to it daily. Your synopsis is a good preview and a reminder to go read the whole article.
  3. Before this game I kept saying Josh Allen was weather proof, so I loved having teams have to come to Buffalo and face us in the elements. Unfortunately, I am no longer confident that this is the case. A power RB like Jonathan Taylor is much better suited for a game like this, than our pass based Offense. At the end of the game, I said "I guess we need a dome after all".
  4. Ha! That’s what I was thinking. This just means Bills fans stuffed the ballot box.
  5. I believed from the beginning that Ed Oliver would be a stud this year, so it is not really unexpected to me, but in general I think he is a surprise stud to many this year. especially those fans who were writing him off after his rookie season. Additionally, for many of the same reasons Star is probably a surprise stud as well. He is a difference maker.
  6. I don’t disagree. I personally do not drive high and only drive after a few drinks occasionally. Luckily my wife barely drinks and is often my designated driver. I Uber if we both plan on drinking a bunch. my point was more the “don’t break 2 laws at the same time” concept. I certainly don’t condone impaired driving.
  7. I have a friend whose motto is, never break 2 laws at the same time. He said this as he was smoking weed while driving on a road trip to Florida. He said he was fine as long as he didn't speed, change lanes without a blinker, have a headlight out, etc... Good words to live by. (I was scared about him driving high at first but he was actually a very good driver even while smoking a joint)
  8. He is actually a pretty good interviewer.
  9. Apparently he missed the famous Herm Edwards quote: "You play to TIE the game!"
  10. Championship teams have players like this coming off of the bench. His straight line speed, whether rushing the QB or running down the ball carrier, looks impressive. There are weaknesses in his game, as noted above, but he is still a solid role player when called upon.
  11. Good lord. Could Collinsworth stroke Mahomes any more passionately?
  12. I hope you lose. No offense.
  13. They don’t draft their own first rounders anymore, so the bill never comes due. They just keep recycling.
  14. I am convinced that our running issues are more about the Offensive line than it is who is carrying the ball. I could be wrong...
  15. But no matter what, he will sign this week. No sense in losing out on that game check. 😛
  16. Or that it is more robust, no? If there is one offer, you take it right away, if there are multiple, you need to evaluate the options.
  17. I am not convinced that this is true. I think he can still play at a high level, but the risk of injury, combined with the bad attitude when things do go his way, are not work the potential upside. He will be best with a strong willed QB like Rodgers or Russell Wilson. (Or Brady, although I don’t see it happening)
  18. Green Bay is a good fit from a culture perspective. (Wisconsin may keep him out of trouble) Now that he cleared waivers, does Cleveland owe him any money? I imagine him taking a one year vet minimum type of deal, to be with a contender.
  19. you appear to be right.
  20. What a horse crap call. That official threw a hip into Marsh and then threw flag for taunting. Total bs.
  21. Yeah, I didn’t list this as an option initially, but the more I think about it, the more I could see it happening.
  22. Quinton Morris elevated. I have been looking forward to seeing him in action. Hopefully he gets an opportunity and rises to the challenge.
  23. Would it make sense for them to take on that contract? I am guessing he clears waivers and then goes to a contender as a 1 year rental. He could sign for vet minimum, since the Browns already had to pay him over $12 million.
  24. Lions are the number 1 pick, so this could happen. I laughed because Odell's head will explode if the Lions or Jags take him off of waivers.
  25. I guess we can vote there and give our reasoning here.
