Tyrod had more wins in the previous 2 years than Rivers prior to Lynn and SM becoming head coaches. Personally, I was happy to move on from Tyrod but people are delusional about how “bad” this situation was compared to the Chargers. The HOF Qb led his team to 9 wins in two years prior to Lynn.

Because Bills fans aren’t allowed to want more. We should just be happy with a team. But they traded up in the 2nd to take Jimmy G when the best qb was ever in his prime. Holy revisionist history Batman!!! SM took over a team that averaged 8 wins for 3 years, that he “had to” rebuild. Lynn took over a Chargers team that won a total of 9 games in the previous 2 years and is 20-11! I think SM is a dime a dozen head coach but I also wasn’t begging for Lynn either. But you are completely short changing the job he has done. They were terrible before he became their coach. Wow, I just basically typed the same thing haha. I think SM is an average at best head coach but he would probably thrived with an established franchise qb. Goff and Mitchell, who were much more polished passers than Allen entering the nfl, took after they fired their defensive head coach and hired an offensive one. there is some belief that Daboll, a guy who if nfl people were doing a poll would rank as bottom 5 OC, is all Allen needs. This team has done a great job with the defensive side of the ball. But man, I worry they are not going to get it right on offense. We throw parties for scoring two touchdowns in a game. It can be so much better.

Well, Peterman was this year and literally has the some of the stats in nfl history. But yeah, if people are still trashing three years after the fact, they are tools. EJ would have the highest qb rating of any QB on our roster.

A slight difference between having possibly the best QBs of all time and having 2 QBs with QBs rating in the 60s. The main point is we shouldn’t stop locking. Doesn’t mean it has to be a 1st but they need to keep bringing in talent. if Allen turns out to be guy, that’s great and we have possible trade chips. But if Allen turns out like JP and we pass on Rodgers, I’m going to riot!

Hughes is more bark than bite at this point. It was a great trade (Whaley sucks!) but he is nothing special as a pass rusher at this point. His career is on the Decline. And that’s with Mario and Dareus being all pros at their position. at least he settle down with his brain dead, fake tough guy penalties.

Fitz had a 96 QBs rating this year. Barkley has 68 for his career. Fitz is far superior to bArkley and it’s not close. But he probably wasn’t an option.

Yeah, I don’t get why this surprises people. Of course this is the world where when you lose a game, you should get fired. i think he’s the only head coach who was mainly a STs coach. Someone made a good point that there should be more STs head coaches because they deal with both sides of the ball. Yeah, you definitely can’t replace the OC of a 15 point offense who has been bottom 5 for his whole career. That’s crazy talk!

That win bumped his record up to 2-5. and I’m completely biased but I think EJ is better than Barkley (and every stat and physical trait proved that). But that would probably just create a qb controversy and we can’t have Allen deal with that pressure ?. (I’m kidding and know there is no way to bring EJ back here. But it’s joke he doesn’t have a job somewhere and Peterman does). ?

I pray the Bills don’t think like this. It should be evaluated after every season. I actually liked Barkley coming out but we literally say the best game of his entire career and that RAISED his qb rating to 68.3! It’s backup qb so you can’t be super upset either way. but if NE can draft qbs when they have Tom Brady, we can draft qbs when we have Allen and Barkley. You should never stop trying to improve the most important position. It’s why the Bills have sucked for years. It’s illegal. ?
