McBeane will build a Wr Core of 2s & 3s.
C.Biscuit97 replied to BillsFan1988's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
He has #1 receiver ability. But you’re right. I would bet a lot of money on a 5’9”, slower, guy who averaged 9.7 ypc and 4 career tds (playing 2 years with Deshaun Watson) will have a better career than ESB, who is 6’5” runs a 4.4 had 13 tds and averaged 16 ypc (playing with a qb who got benched because he couldn’t throw). But it was even better following it up with another slot receiver because you were friends with his dad. In late rounds, it’s about upside. The Bills picked guys with no upside. And ESB might never get there, but I would have liked to see him andcJosh Allen try to grow together. 2 dudes with tons of upside. -
She’s the worst.

Very true and football players deserve every cent. But this contract just exploded the market. -
Kyle Williams: Officially Retires

Knew it was coming but it still sucks. I wish this team could have been better for him. Dude was a baller and gave it his all. He is well deserving of a spot on the wall. All the best to you in retirement Peter Griffin. -

Beane and company have no idea to scout receivers. They draft friends of the coaches. -
Marijuana to treat CTE in NFL players
C.Biscuit97 replied to Victory Formation's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Well, you’re completely wrong. I had 4 friends die of marijuana overdoses. It’s not a joke!!!! the nfl is probably the dumbest sports league in the world. Luckily, football prints money. Let’s keep testing the players for weed! Who cares about pain pills, coke, heroin, shrooms, acid, Molly. Weed is destroying lives!!! -

Haha. We are going to have to pay a ton of money for a scrub receiver. -

Yeah, gotta save those picks for Fuchess aka Kelvin Benjamin Jr. -
I guess Star has had an impact but $10 million for DT who makes no impact players is a bad use of salary cap. If we ever become good, he probably won’t be on the team then. Luckily, we don’t have many good players to pay!

This is why instead of taking a small slot receiver who wasn’t even the best slot receiver on his team, Ray Ray, you draft the 6’5” equanimeous st brown who played with a qb who got benched this year because he couldn’t throw well. ESB has 1 receiver ability. i have zero faith in this regime’s ability to scout offense. They are terrible. -
Can we be the 2018 bears in 2019?
C.Biscuit97 replied to Hebert19's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Only if we get handed the best defensive player in the game and get an offensive coach with actual nfl success. But let’s just cross our fingers and hope Daboll finally can do it in his 20th year of coaching!!! -
What an awesome belated Christmas present this would be!!! But he would only get a job if Rick Dennison turns it down. Im sure Daboll knows a lot about football and is a good guy. But millions dollars on the line, are you betting he will suddenly have a top 10 offense or a bottom 10 offense next year? SM isn’t going to fire him because he would look awful since it would be his 3rd OC in 3 years. But I’m sick of being Bills fans and just having to settle for crap. There are people thinking it would be a step back if we lose a guy who direct a 15 point offense (with a good defense that helps with field position$. I wonder if these are the same people who thought our offense couldn’t possibly get worse than it was last year!

[Name Only Title] DeSean Jackson
C.Biscuit97 replied to FLBillsGuy's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
You’re right. The Eagles cut him because he was such a great individual. He also never dropped the ball before he crossed the end zone. i really don’t care with way. Personally, I don’t think he is a great leader and not good enough to justify what it would take to get him here. He completed 8 of 19 passes for 160 yards. It was a Bortles like performance. Let’s not act like it was a Rodgers like performance. and I hope you’re right. I hope receivers see Allen is a rising star and want to come here. I don’t see it but it would be great if they did. The Bears has to pay a ton of money to get guys there. -

Good post and people will overlook this. That’s why it takes more than a Giant to succeed. They were saying Russell Wilson (much weaker arm) is the best deep ball thrower because of the arc he puts on the ball. -

Because he doesn’t want to be in Buffalo. It’s viewed as Siberia to a lot of players. They are wrong but that’s how it’s viewed. And im just telling you know other people view Allen. I think a lot of players feel like Ramsey. He was a 56% passer at a smaller school and is averaging 163 yards passing. Jackson didn’t like playing with Winston. I doubt he says an upgrade with Allen. -

Rating the Rookie QBs - What the Numbers Show
C.Biscuit97 replied to The Frankish Reich's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I could be in the minority but I think this class is completely overrated. Besides Mayfield, I won’t confidently bet on any of them becoming franchise guys at this point. Hope I’m wrong. but it just goes to show what the “experts” know. The 2017 qb draft was a bad one and it is far superior to this group. -
Oregon QB Justin Herbert Returning for the 2019 CFB Season

This is also bad for Bills. One less qb to trade up for and a player in a position we may need might get taken. -
The Rosen Era Has Begun in Arizona
C.Biscuit97 replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Torry Smith was completely washed by then. And you know this. That was a joke offense and it’s hilarious how people act like CK was some bum. And thats exactly why why I didn’t want Allen. We are hoping that a 56% passer in the MWC is going to be better in the nfl than he did in a weak conference. That’s a huge gamble. We are also hoping that a guy who has been a bottom 5 OC for his nfl career will lead him. And we are hoping that a regime that created this awful offense will suddenly get it. Lots of it’s. But he is our qb so I hope he gets weapons and we can stop the excuses and just evaluate him. Happy holidays! -
The Rosen Era Has Begun in Arizona
C.Biscuit97 replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Of the top of my head in recent years: last year’s bears: https://www.pro-football-reference.com/teams/chi/2017.htm 2014 49ers: https://www.pro-football-reference.com/teams/sfo/2016.htm i can’t believe Kaepernick only had 16 tds and 4 ints throwing to Kerley and Patton!!! What a bum. its also worth pointing out that Allen averages almost 70 yards passing than Anderson/ Barkley. Those are dime a dozen backups who were brought in the middle of the season. Did the wrs suddenly get better? (For comparison, Rosen averages 30 more yards passing than Bradford; mayfield averages 140 more yards than Tyrod!; Darnold averages 90 more yards than McCown) so my conclusion. Allen, while having a bad group of receivers, isn’t as good of a passer as backup/ fringe nfl QBs with the same group. He needs to improve as a passer, which was the knock coming out of college. I hope he does.
