I just saw a stat that Dennis Green went 26-63 as a college coach!!!! He then had 6 double digit win season in the nfl. Steve Mariucci was 6-6 in his only college season and then won double digits in the nfl 4 times.

Ajayi sucks and I don’t think Landry is worth that money. I will say he needs to use his playmakers more (as a fantasy guy, I never got why Drake didn’t get the ball more) and pick a better DC. but it’s weird that Bills fans are mocking him like SM is some far superior coach. I’d argue that SM is the defensive Adam Gase.

He had 30 tds and 100 qb rating as a rookie. He might not have had to carry the team but that is a hall of Fame rookie season. Honestly, I can’t believe it’s even a question if he’s a HOFer. He’s a weirdo but he has a 75-36-1 record with 2 super bowl appearances and 1 win.

In his first job, in place with RT as a qb, where no one cares. He had a better record after 2 years than our coach. like I said, it’s not an exciting hire. But it’s not close to as bad as some are making it out to be. It’s really all about Darnold.

Not the sexiest hire but some of you are goingva little overboard. He is a pretty solid qb teacher. Tannehill is what he is. If Darnold really has elite skills (honestly, he confuses me), this could be a solid hire. He wasn’t close to as bad as some of you want him to be. Miami is a wasteland for football. With a few moves this offseason, the Jersey Jets will be far more talented than the Fins.

Very meh hire. It is basically keeping Mularkey for Mariota or Dirk for Winston. But if Baker stays away from being a full d bag, he may be better than those 2 so it could work out.

What a silly story. Two teammates lobbied for their friend??? Jim Kelly wanted us to draft Tebow. Should we just blindly listen to ex players? i love Reich and it’s great he’s doing well. But I think a healthy Luck, getting very good o linemen, and improving the defense are the main reasons for success. It’s hard to just blindly think he would be as successful here. Luck is awesome.

Fair points. I think those guys were better, more finished products than Allen and Daboll’s resume just isn’t good enough. But point taken. I hope you’re right.

You get yourself in trouble when you just think either or. It’s how you ended up with James Hardy, R.I.P. the nfl is all about separation. So regardless of size, you need to be able to separate. But you need the small Buick guy as well as the big guy who can go and get it. Don’t limit yourself.

Another reason why I hated the Ray Ray pick. He wasn’t even the best slot receiver on his college team. Would have even started this year there? but a great way to think of a receiving core is to have a basketball team. You need guys of various sizes and skills - big guy, small quick one, a mix of those two. We should pick up at least 3 or 4 receivers this offseason.
