  1. What a dumb take. Mahomes had like 50 tds his last year in college and set records his first year as a starter in the nfl. KK didn’t get fires because of his offense. this is exactly the hire the Bills never make. It may not work but at least they went for a homerun. I respect it a ton.
  2. We were 3rd last on offense. And here are Daboll’s career nfl OC finishes: 32, 29, 22!!!, 24, and 30. I’m sure he is a nice dude and knows a lot about football, but we really can’t do better??? well Arizona just hired him (LA and now Arizona, lucky dude). I pray that Daboll + Allen > Kliffsbury + Rosen. Hopefully, it will be but at least Arizona is fully investing in their young qb.
  3. He seems like a great dude and props for him coming back from that horrible injury. But why do people think Bridgewater is good? Eh. I hope they are still looking to upgrade the position. We literally saw the best start in Barkley’s career. Stop settling Buffalo!
  4. I want at least 2 guys. I’m a big fan of Harry, Whiteside, Butler, Stills, and Johnson. now just imagine instead of trading up for Zay, we kept the pick and just took JuJu or Cooper. ?
  5. Yeah, he’s been taking nfl interviews. Personally, I’d rather be the OC of USC and hope to get the head job one day. But you strike when the iron is hot. Imo, he can’t fire Daboll. Daboll had a worst offense than Dennison, even though fans said that wasn’t possible. But how many coaches can have 3 OCs in 3 years and survive? and I totally get your thinking but IMo, great teams think outside the box. You go for a KK because you see the potential of having the guy who had Mahomes work with your raw QB (I think Mahomes had like 15 rushing tds his last year too). strive to be great. Too many times, the Bills just settle for average at best. Is there one thing on Daboll’s resume that indicates he will ever coach a great offense? Personally, I’d rather take my chances with a potential 10 who might have a terrible attitude than settle for the 4 with little upside. I wish the Bills thought like that.
  6. But the tradition is Sunday. and yes, this is going to be a major platform of mine when I become president as a member of the American Party (2 parties is a joke system). Monday after Super Bowl is off and we have American day. I’m excited to have you all vote for me.
  7. Thank god the Steelers got rid of the real problem with the team. This will take care of everything.
  8. 1) Leach won double digits once in 10 years at Tech. 2) he is now a 39 year old guy with head coaching experience. Again, college is completely different from the nfl. It’s why Saban (is he washed up???) couldn’t dominate in college. im not advocating to fire SM. But I think you need to do everything to maximize your young qb. In a perfect world, With a young QBs, take the young offensive head coach and veteran DC over the other scenario. I think Arizona screwed Wilkes but hiring Kingsbury would make a lot of sense for them.
  9. Good to very good, not great. I feel like the Hall of Fame is getting watered down.
  10. Well we don’t do that in Buffalo!!!! We either hire the coach first and then get him a puppet for GM after. Or we don’t let the GM hire his coach! Genius!
  11. 1) is Tech ever good? He didn’t lose because his offense. All college is about is recruiting and you don’t get top recruits to go to Tech. You don’t have that problem in the nfl. 2) he worked with Mayfield and Mahomes. What current coach has better qbs on their resume? 3). Why does Brian Daboll keep getting jobs? His resume sucks. LaFleur just got hired by GB after “leading” the Titans to the 27th ranked offense. despite what we see in Buffalo, it’s an offensive league. It’s better to have a McVay or Nagy and find a Wade or Vic rather than have a SM and Daboll.
  12. I’d rather have him as OC. But I think if you have a strong offensive head coach, it is a lot easier to find a good DC than be a defensive coach and have a strong DC. im not advocating for him as a head coach here. I believe we are going to settle for an OC because SM failed with his his first choice. IMO, you need to go all out for your qb and we are settling.
  13. My dude gets hired by USC (seems super awesome), now is getting nfl head coaching interviews. but yeah, Buffalo doesn’t need him. We need continuity with Brian “Bottom 5” Daboll. We are the Bills. Let’s just be happy we have a team!!! ?
  14. There are just some many double standards. People were praising Allen’s “garbage time” performance against the Chargers in the regular season. I’m tough on Allen but if he struggle in his first playoff start, I’m giving him a pass. there is zero question Allen has the stronger arm. But I was talking with a friend about how important touch is for a qb. Eric Ebron struggled with the Lions and had the drops. He goes to the Colts and becomes a top 5 TE. Did he just get much better or does Lick throw a more catchable football?
  15. Talk about some luck. Works with a first overall pick (Goff), two 2nd overalls (Ryan and Mariota), and now Rodgers. Talk about picking your spots! this reminds me of what makes McDaniel a good coach. Because he does well with the greatest qb ever?
  16. Yup. But clearly if we had Peters, we would have been a powerhouse. He would have taken Trent to the next level.
  17. I also think some of the biggest Jackson critics would be defending Allen if he had a similar game in the playoffs. jackson has a lot of work to do as pretty much every rookie QB does. I will say I loved his attitude after the game. He went around high fiving fans who were booing him and taking accountability for his poor play.
  18. Unless he breaks out next year, it’s going to hard to ever justify that trade up. It’s just a bad move. That said, it’s a sunk cost at this point so he just becomes a 3rd/4th: Josh Reed guy that has some value.
  19. I think the Bills were in a no win situation. Peters didn’t have much game experience at LT so to give him a big LT after just giving him a nice RT contract would have been risky. I think fans use hindsight to much. People love talking about how the Dareus deal was. Well, he was an all pro DT when he signed the deal. He got lazy when he got paid. Maybe Peters does the same thing. But dude is a freak. I never thought he would be playing still. even crazier, the Eagles won the SB without him playing most of the year.
  20. I’ll be honest, I hated Byrd going. Thought he was one if the best defensive playmakers the Bills ever had. Talk about dodging a bullet. honestly, it’s funny to talk about but for the most part, this stuff doesn’t real matter unless you have a franchise qb. We weren’t going to win much with JP Losman, Trent Edwards, and whoever we had at QBs.
  21. You realize Lynch was a strike away from a year long suspension and was still doing ❄️ in Buffalo bars right? Dude was a ticking time bomb who good for him, kept it somewhat together. the Bills make plenty of dumb moves but you also need to hold the player accountable.
  22. 1) I do agree they need a way to compute garbage aka Blake Bortles and Matt Stafford stats. 2) it is a playoff game so it’s not as garbage time as the regular season. He made some nice plays at the end of the game.
  23. Not to rehash all this but it was never clear cut one way or the other. The Bills gave Peters a nice contract after his first season as a RT. He wanted big time LT money. He held out and refused to return their phone calls and when he should up, he was completely out of shape. The Bills finally traded him and ended up with a decent return, I believe a 1st and something else. If the Pats did this, we would praise their culture and getting rid of me guys. I know it’s impossible to take the middle ground in any debate but I completely see both sides. Peters is a HOF and a freak. The Bills signed the guy as a UDFA TE and moved him. Peters also has had some major injuries and missed most of last year. But yup, that deal worked out well for them.
  24. Yeah, what an inspiring hire. Obviously, Rodgers is Mariota on steroids but at some point, shouldn’t results matters? The Titans’ offense was painful to watch. They hired a guy Rodgers will basically tell to shut up if he doesn’t like something he says. Fair point but Mariota looked like a stud his second year. The Titans offense was check down city and it took forever for them to use Henry. IMO, this is the direct result of the Sean McVay type but minus the actual results.
