Daniel Jeremiah - Jonah Williams is someone to watch
C.Biscuit97 replied to Ittakestime's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Haha. Well besides the excitement of drafting a defensive back in the 1st to see you melt down, I can say that is without a doubt the one position I do not want. and I definitely understand why they take an o linemen and can’t get mad at it. I do think it is a bit riskier than you might think though. Guys like Gallery, Cooper, Greg Robinson, Luke Joeckel, Jason Smith, etc have been safe picks that have been total busts. -

Why do people at NFLN take Cynthia Frelund seriously?
C.Biscuit97 replied to D521646's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Wonder what his thread would be like if people had to post their pictures? A lot of Brad Pitts throwing stones. Fact, this would the hottest woman 90% of you have even be in a room with. -
What's the better strategy for the Cardinals?
C.Biscuit97 replied to D521646's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
If this was the Bills, And they traded their 1st round qb a year into his career, I definitely won’t want the GM who picked him, who picked a coach who got fired in one year, and had a recent DWI to make the pick. I would agree with this but it would be a nightmare from fans and media. But you’re right. Until you have a proven guy, don’t stop searching. And having a good back up is so underrated. Plus, it could be trade bait to. But nfl teams aren’t forward thinking enough for this. -
Is Kelvin Benjamin's career over?

Feel free. I never liked Benjamin, even in college. He looked like a fat woman. -
Full Intelligent Breakdown of DK Metcalf
C.Biscuit97 replied to Scorp83's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Good comparison. I feel I have to be consistent though and I wasn’t a big fan of Allen and I’m not a big fan of Metcalf. I sincerely hope they prove me wrong but I think there are going to be better all around receivers available later. People love the parts of Metcalf that aren’t what makes a great receivers, and this regime hasn’t exactly killed it with their receiver pickups. -

In Carolina, he was fat, had bad knees and was already slow, and Cam Newton won the MVP and went to the SB without him, and their receivers sucked and they were in playoff hunt and still didn’t want him. Its ok to admit it was a terrible trade, especially when you were with the guy before. -

I know you need them and they are super important but is there anything worse than a 1st round o linemen? I wish I knew if they were going to take one because I won’t go to Nashville if they do (well I still might because Nashville is a lot of fun). -
Is Quinnen Williams the next Dareus?
C.Biscuit97 replied to TC in St. Louis's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yup. He was an all pro and part of the best d line in the nfl. Any Bills fans who say they didn’t want them to re-sign Dareus is a liar. And i I struggle to evaluate Bama and Clemson d line because they are so loaded. I do Oliver would have been a monster if he got to play on those units instead of being the main guy in Houston. -

They were with him in Carolina when he showed up looking like an o linemen. -

Strongly disagree. A top 5 GM just traded two draft picks for him. He’ll get another chance on that alone. -
Did we land a top 5 GM in Beane?

I feel like all this should have been said about Whaley after his 2nd year when we went 9-7 with the number 2 defense. -
I think this is kinda overrated at times. Foster and Brown are deep threats. Harry is a guy that gets one on one matchups and makes big plays down the field. Admittedly, I’ve been a big fan of his for 2 years but his qb was trash. Difference is TO was a 3rd round pick. DK terrifies me. I think he ends up being a Ted Ginn type player. Not terrible but not worth 9 overall.
-
If they don’t take a receiver early because of Brown and Beasley, then I will lost all hope in them. We have a roster of 3 and 4 type receivers. If you really want to give Allen everything he needs, you don’t settle for this group we have now. It’s still probably a bottom third group. They need a number 1 type guy. I’m not trying to come at you and respect your point. I just believe that the chance to make a roster here is why he signed. I think McDermott is a fine but average type of coach like most guys in the nfl are. Duke not going to LA has more to do with the fact he probably won’t make those teams than living in LA or the coach. And I don’t remember but what were the other teams and offers for Williams?
-
Harry of ASU or Butler of ISU.
-
I think Clark plays in a 4-3 and is pro typical DE whereas plays in a 3-4 where he is a DE/OLB who specializes in setting the edge (keep plays from bouncing outside him and back into the middle of the field). I could be wrong though. also, Bruce Smith was a 3-4 De which makes what he did even more amazing.
-
Haha. Good luck with that. IMO, you never buy a current players jersey. Go old school or just buy Bills stuff. My EJ and Sammy jerseys nod sadly.
-
Haha. I mean considering this is probably his last offseason on a nfl roster, he should enjoy himself. I’d trade him for Hunter Renfrow in a second.
-
Also, who were the bad contracts? Dareus I assume. Guess what? An all pro DT gets paid a lot of money. The same people saying how bad the Dareus contract was are the same ones who would have cried if we let him walk for nothing. Some breaking news here: good players cost money. I would take a motivated Dareus on his contract over Star on his.

Ty Dunne: What Happened in Green Bay
C.Biscuit97 replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I take it all back now that Greg Jennings is one of the major sources. Dude has not been bitter at all since he left GB and had a ton of success on his other teams. it is a well written article but it is completely one sided. Jordy Nelson said it is nonsense. And even if it is completely true, I still take Rodgers over every single person who criticized him.
