  1. Eh, Quinn was pretty meh. I don’t remember anything special about him et being jacked for a qb and kinda handsome (definitely passed my star qb has to be good looking test). There was a reason he fell in the draft. I don’t kink shame!
  2. I think it’s absolutely insane that after all the years of terrible qbs, we can realistically have convo about our guy being legitimately the best qb in the nfl. I could have never in my wildest dreams (and I have wild dreams!) believed that. but at this point, I have Mahomes in his own category, then the rest of the qbs (Allen, Lamar, Burrows, Will Levis). I just think we work really hard as bills fans to discrdiet how maddening consistent Mahomes is. He was every bit as exciting as Jackson and Allen but I believe he has tailored his game to more of the Brady style (I think Allen and Jackson have done this a bit too). It’s similar to those Brady Pats teams when they weren’t flashy but just kept winning. To be the man, you gotta beat the man. I also believe this is the year. Still doesn’t take away from PM’s greatness. I agree with you. Especially because when some of those athletes come from and what they are growing up eating. Lebron isn’t playing until he’s 40 because he drinks Mountain Dew. Of course, it’s good business to keep people fat.
  3. Small market bias!!!
  4. Lamar is scrawny He apparently eats terrible all the time and has diarrhea.
  5. Josh was terrible in the 1st half of the title game. I know he is god but we can be honest. James Cook was our best player in the game and should have had more touches.
  6. All of it. Reid traded up and targeted Mahomes. The chiefs had a bottom 5 offensive weapon group last year. Their tackles sucked. They went to 3 SBs and won 2 after trading Hill. In the 13 second game, he made a million clutch plays. In his first AFC title game, he beats Brady but a d linemen jumped offside. Andy Reid was a choker before Mahomes. Spags was a retread DC. Kelce had the best seasons of his career with Mahomes. as I get older (we all are), I just come to respect greatness. I found Brady annoying but it’s weird how the greatest ones always seem to get “lucky.” You create your own luck in life. Mahomes could retire today and be a top 5 qb ever. But sure he’s only the 4th best qb in the AFC. After winning 3 SBs and going to 5 in 7 years as a nfl starting qb. Just lucky I guess.
  7. I still believe in Claypool!!! Him and Mack Hollins were 2 of the greatest specimens I have ever seen at wr. Of course, it takes a lot more than that to be good.
  8. Good player but he says a lot of stuff in retirement. I think he was saying Chris Carter wasn’t an all time great because he had great hands.
  9. With all due respect, this is such loser talk and cope from a team that always loses to him when it matter. I bet the same conversations were being held about Brady being only the 7 best QB when his team was going to the SB every year. Then when you look back at it, you realize how dumb is to say anyone is better than the QB who goes to the SB every year and he will be remembered as one of the greatest qb ever. That team is on complete cruise control every year and go to the SB every year. But yeah, he’s not the best qb. and being jacked is the worst thing you can be as a qb, pitcher, or a shooter. There are exercises that get you popcorn muscles that absolutely destroy your throwing arm. It showed last year???? They lost 2 games with one of the worst receiving groups in the league and went to the SB!!!
  10. Not a single person has said that. Not sure what saying that accomplishes.
  11. Again, currently his 4.9 ypc would place him in the top 10 in nfl history. In 2023, he was 6th in total yards from scrimmage. https://www.statmuse.com/nfl/ask/nfl-yards-from-scrimmage-leaders-2023 is he Barkley or Henry? No. But he is only legit game breaker on this entire offense besides Allen. It is quite an assumption to assume Davis (who averaged a full yard less per carry when backups normally average more than the starters because they got against tired defenses) and Ty Johnson (there’s a reason he’s bounced around) can fill Cook’s shoes. He’s been a great draft pick no matter how some fans try to downplay his success. I don’t disagree but there’s some double standards. When we talked about Allen’s MVP case, everyone downplayed all the pieces around him. Now when it’s Cook, people love mentioning the o line. I would counter that Allen and Cook are helped a lot by the oline and each other. Additionally, I think our WRs hurt them both because teams don’t fear getting beat deep so they play the line closer than they should with a guy like Allen’s arm.
  12. Kinda hated the Coleman pick. But I’m willing to give him a full nfl offseason before I’m going to write him off. Honestly, kinda freely to look at a 2nd round pick as money in your pocket. The ring culture has ruined sports. Guys who are in the 1% of their fields, who are amazing at that level are “losers” if they don’t win a SB or championship. You get coaches fired 2 years after winning a championship. It’s insane.
  13. Absolutely insane that a guy either one arm became a nfl player. Makes me feel like a complete loser with my 2 arms. 😔
  14. Omg!!! He sent out tweets!!!! dude wants to/ should get paid. He has been a home run pick and earned a nice raise. Bills fans were a million times more dramatic than Cook, who barely even speaks. But those tweets did hurt my feelings during the time no games were played. 😔
  15. I had no idea he was still in the nfl. I think he was a pretty popular draft prospect here during his draft process.
  16. You do the BS it’s 3 years for $40 million but it’s not really $40 million because there are so many hard incentives to reach. Agents just look for the little Adam tweets that sounds really good.
  17. 8 month winters is very dramatic bro! 6 max! im different. All I wanted to do was get away from Buffalo when I was younger. But with the ability to travel, good job, cost of living, I kinda love Buffalo. Pros and cons to everywhere. Plus, for players, it’s like 6 months a year playing on a SB contender to be set for life.
  18. This notion that anyone can be a good rb is pretty foolish. I believe the best way to look at rbs is on a bad team, it doesn’t matter. But on a SB contender, it can take you to another level. Getting rid of the second best offensive player (not counting the most 2nd most important ones - the oline) would severely hurt this team.
  19. Cook was the best player in the title game. Obviously, Allen is a major reason why but if Cook got the ball more, we might have went to the SB. He is only game breaker on offense besides Allen. Eh, just do like $11/ season ish type with a bunch of incentives for him to hit.
  20. A stat I found that is pretty interesting is Ray Davis, who is going to be turning 26, had 746 carries in college and 113 last year. Cook, who will also be 26, had 533 nfl carries and 230 in college. In terms of wear and tear, Cook is the “younger” player.
  21. You’re too emotional. the guy has the best leverage of his career, saw every other player in his draft class get paid, and doesn’t want to play on the last year of his deal as a RB. It makes total sense from his side. Guy barely talks and has gotten better every year. He was the best player in the title game. I like Ray Davis (great dude off the field as well) and Johnson but people are going to be surprised when there is a drop off if/ when they have to play more. It’s crazy but maybe the guy who was 3rd best at breaking long runs last year is important to this team. Agreed and I think both sides want to make a deal. But I get it from both sides. TJ watt and Hendrickson are doing the same thing. It’s part of negotiating.
  22. I agree with most of this but if I was to n Cook’s shoes, I would do the same thing. This is the most leverage he will ever have in his entire career. Playing on a one year contract is awful for any player but especially a rb. If he plays on a one year deal he: risks suffering a major injury; gets less touches that hurts his value, and the Bills run him into the ground (I don’t see that). every other good player for his Bills draft class has gotten a new deal. And I’d argue Cook has the best resume out of all of them. His brother’s career basically ended at 27. I get how it is tough to pay rb. But Cook has gotten better every year. He was the BEST player in the championship game and we might have won if he touched the ball more. This is going to be a story on Hard knocks. I’d love to see a real breakdown of this. Is Johnson better? Sure but I think this has been way overstated how bad Cook is.
  23. 0. And the number of people at diddy is going to be thousands. They were the biggest parties in the country. You would have gone if you were invited. You know a ton of people went to those parties and didn’t do a single bad thing, right? Like almost every famous person. and wasn’t there a rumor that David Bowie and Mick Jagger had so many women they got bored and started dating each other???
  24. I drafted him for my fantasy dynasty league. I believe this is the motivation he needed to take his game to the next level.
