Stefon Diggs concerned about football starting back up

Sadly Diggs, you are a piece of meat to teams and a bunch of fans. You are dollars to them and then second you are less valuable, they get rid of you. -
Ranking Offensive Weapons by team

I think they are really good. Top 5 TE, Top 3 at worst ever, very solid Tate, Sheppard is good, and Slayton was awesome as a rookie. Their biggest issues are they can’t stay healthy. For sure, though Darnold is in the worst situation of the 3 by far. he’s a guy I see not living up to his draft status and then goes to another team and has a nice career. The Jets are a stupid franchise. -

Honestly, and they were terrible with Allen his first year, but the Bills have done a great job of developing Allen. For the first time in forever, the Bills developed a qb right (Losman was also put in a good situation, he just sucked). I also think we should be happy with how much the Jets suck around Darnold. They have totally done him a disservice. -
New Redskins name in 24-48 hours
C.Biscuit97 replied to section122's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Washington Americans would be pretty good. and they are going to make a ton of money with this. Yeah, it’s kinda weird a coach would have this much say. Open it up to the fans to suggest things and then do a public poll of season ticket holders. i don’t know why some of these teams make it so much harder than it needs to be. You really don’t get the difference between the 2 names? -

So we now like Barnwell??? ? and there are zero excuses for Allen. His 3rd year in the same system with the same OC and head coach. A solid o line. A defense that carries the team. if this offense isn’t top half of the league (not a high bar), we don’t have the right guy. -
Would you be happy with that contract? I love his attitude but man, playing big dudes makes me nervous. I also think o linemen in today’s nfl aren’t as hard to find anymore. With all the spreads offenses, there isn’t the same level of offensive line play required. im all for paying him but there are going to be some big decisions coming up with contracts. This is really where Beane is going to have to prove himself. They have it really easy right now.

I don’t know who you are but you just admitted you’re wrong a lot. Because I’m like really smart. and there are 11 guys from Harvard on nfl rosters. It sucks but other conferences are going to start following what the smart school do. Except the SEC. the south loves using people for free labor and tossing them aside.
-
There are probably more nfl players from Harvard than a bunch of other power 5 schools. Anyone who has actually played a college sport knows how hard it is to play for an IVY league. Pretty crappy to dismiss them. And they were the first to cancel their postseason tournament and then every other conference followed. http://www.espn.com/nfl/college/_/letter/h this is crazy but maybe really smart people know what they are talking about more than random idiots on twitter or Clay Travis.
-
I can’t imagine the SEC cancelling. It’s literally the only thing some of those southern towns have. And the players are pieces of meat to them. They don’t care about them. this whole thing just sucks. I couldn’t imagine losing a year of football like this. It’s such a mess and it sounds like it’s getting worse.

Raheem Mostert requests trade
C.Biscuit97 replied to Warcodered's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Tough situation. His value will never been higher but I won’t pay him. That system makes anyone look good and he hasn’t shown anything before and he is close to 30. Maybe you give him a little bump but that would just being nice by the 49ers. I totally get why he’s doing it but he has zero leverage. And I won’t trade anything higher than a 6th. honestly, rbs should get together before the first game and just refuse to play. It’s like one of the coolest positions in sports and they get tried like prostitutes. They get used and abused and then tossed away. If I had won, I would never let him play rb and it’s such an awesome position. -
Browns out of the bid for Clowney
C.Biscuit97 replied to BuffaloBills1998's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I mean he will get signed. But you’re right, his price tag was absolutely insane. He wanted a Mario Williams type deal and Mario was way better. Clowney is a better Shaq Lawson and he had the luxury of playing across from one of the best pass rushers (and WM is really good too). He’s not a game changer. One of the most overrated players in a long time. Truly great DEs aren’t looking for their 3rd team in 3 years. i know it’s college but I can’t believe the number 1 overall pick couldn’t get more than 3 sacks his last year in college. Matt Barkley sucks and Jake “Elite White” Fromm is Matt Barkley Jr. nice guys I’m sure though. -
I don’t know how any rational Bills fans could argue this. I guarantee the game plan against the Bills is keep Allen in the pocket and force him to beat you with his arm. Because we have an awesome defense, Allen rarely has to play catch up where he has to throw to win. Well playing Pat Mahomes and Russell Wilson, the real test to see if Allen is a franchise guy is if he can bring a team back if they fall behind by double digits. Much different than “coming” back down by a field goal to Duck Hodges or Marcus Mariota. I’d be shocked if he ever got to 65%. A lot of qbs coaches tell you accuracy can be improve slightly but good accuracy is a gift that only special guys have.

ESPN+: Top 10 WRs according to league personnel

Why did you stop at 3 first rounders? Why not 4 or 5? and yes, pretty much trading up for a non qb in the first round is foolish. But find me one mock draft that didn’t have Sammy as the best receiver in the draft. He was one of the best receivers I’ve Ever seen in college. https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.nfl.com/_amp/mike-mayock-s-position-rankings-for-2014-nfl-draft-0ap2000000346685 fit makes. Through 2 years, Sammy had similar production to Julio. But if you think Mike Evans and ODB would have had the same production in Buffalo in our high school offense, you’re very mistaken. also based on that, if I was a GM, I’d be kicking the tires on Corey Davis. I think he is better player than he has shown. -

John, this all over the place. 1) who doesn’t rip OBJ for being a malcontent? He literally is crushed for that. 2) I’m not the biggest Allen fan but his production is top 5 level. 3) Mike Evans is an absolute monster and is easily a top 5 wr. He made Johnny the Cokehead Hobbit a first round pick. 4) and then you say Cooper should be ranked higher? Wow. I agree. The only concern I have is smaller guy can be taken away easier. That’s why IMO, it’s hard to really have a smaller number 1 receiver. I love the guys who are covered that you can still throw to. -
More of a Holy Angels (non PC other name that was used a lot too haha) guy myself. ?. Catholic school girl outfits ? but yeah, it’s a shame that Catholic schools are closing. Screw those pedo priests. I’m not a fan of religion being pushed on people but as I’ve gotten older, the learning of respect I learned in school has really shaped my life. Men of respect and pursue excellence. Nothing else is worth your time.

Golladay is legit. One of the few he ever got off on Tre. He’s a stud. and Robinson is tough because it seems like he puts up numbers for crappy teams. This is why rating receivers is so hard because they are the most dependent players in football. There are some good receivers who held back by crappy qbs. -

I’m excited to draft Sammy for the 7th straight year in fantasy and be disappointed for the 7th straight year! and in my 4 player keeper league, last year I traded for Diggs and he was money. But no one lets you down like Bills receivers in fantasy (Brown was a rare exception). I think Diggs will have a huge impact, I just don’t know if he gets huge numbers. -

I still Say Sammy when he was healthy here had top 10 ability. He played in a high school offense and broke his foot. It changed his career. but I agree on Cooper. True 1s don’t disappear the way he does. He’s overrated. -

I need to recheck my archive of GoBills post I have saved on my computer to confirm this. ? and he doesn’t have a top 10 resume yet. He’s still going but needs to string together a bunch of 1,000 yard seasons. The shame is I think he can be extremely valuable by drawing coverages and not necessarily putting up monster numbers. He doesn’t seem that happy to to that (and I get it because numbers mean money). it will be interesting this year. There’s a fine line between getting the ball to your playmakers enough and forcing it. I also would like to see a guy with size step up. We have a little crew right now.
