It blows my mind teams still want this idiot. I hope someone signs him and he blows them up. that said, the nice part of me hopes that maybe he went the Brandon Marshall way and really did transform as a person. But man, he’s nuts. also with Baltimore, he has a good relationship with Jackson and his cousin is on the team. Plus, everyone loves Harbaugh. But Seattle does seem like the obvious fit. For some reason, can see him blowing up at Wilson for some stupid reason.

You’re not comparing apples to apples. In a much better conference, with not a ton of talent around him, Wilson was still a more accurate passer than Allen. He hasn’t been below 60 in his nfl career. If we reviewed all his NCSU film, I would guess the problem was more the team around him. this is why people (myself included) are worried about Allen. Could he become more accurate? Sure. But when predicting prospects, you try to use the evidence you have. Allen has never been over 60 (a low benchmark in football now) at any level. At some point, a pattern becomes a trend. In the last 10 years, when passing became easier than ever, has there ever been a qb drafted that high with a worse completion percentage against worse competition? I’m genuinely asking. Allen needs to be the absolute exception to every rule. maybe he can but if he was an another team, most people here would have more serious doubts about him getting there. The good news is they have placed a lot of talent around him and with a really good defense, he doesn’t need to carry the team. But I really want to see the games this year when we won because of Allen and the offense and not in spite of them.

Besides his freshman year, Wilson had a higher % in the ACC than Allen had in the MWC. He also had 32 and 28 td passes at NCSU. he also hasn’t been below 60 in the nfl. Based on that, it seems like NCSU was the outliner and he was barely below 60 there. https://www.sports-reference.com/cfb/players/russell-wilson-1.html

Rank the AFC East coaches since BB came to New England

Bowles nearly went to the playoffs with Ryan Fitzpatrick. He’s too low. also, Jauron is too low. Look at those rosters. It’s absolutely amazing they won 7 games. They were bottom 5 teams with talent. -
Agree to a certain extent. However as someone who is skeptical of Allen, it has close to the resume of Cam (Heisman, National champ, rookie passing records, MVP, SB), I would be fighting people arguing how good he has been. Those Auburn and that Panthers SB team were not that good. He carried them. He completed 68% of his passes two years ago and was having the best passing season of his career.

2018. And I think it is pretty much on record that he got hurt in the Pittsburgh game that year. https://www.google.com/amp/s/thespun.com/nfl/nfc-south/carolina-panthers/cam-newton-injury-history-patriots-signing/amp https://www.google.com/amp/s/thespun.com/nfl/nfc-south/carolina-panthers/cam-newton-injury-history-patriots-signing/amp he still completed 68% of his passes for the best OC he ever had. I think McDaniels is overrated but he’s arguably the best OC Cam has ever had.

If healthy, it’s Cam. Look at what he played with Carolina. Dude has won MVPs, Heisman, a national championship, and went 15-1 with Ted Ginn as his #1 receiver. Besides Lamar Jackson, I don’t think there is a quarterback this board underrated more than Newton. he is a terrible dresser though.
-
He was off to the best season of his career in 2028 until he got hurt. they went from Stidham/ Hoyer to adding a former MVP who if healthy has been a top 10 QBs. Watch the Vegas odds shift.
-
All I’ve ever said is that maybe the guy who has never completed 60% of his passes on any level, including a low level D 1 conference ,might be more of the reason than the receivers. again, I hope everyone here is right about Allen. This team is good enough to win even with below average qb play. But with a legit good qb, this team can make SB noise. I pray that Allen surprises the hell out of me.

“I don’t care how you feel yet I’m going to name call.” ?. Dude, you’re a joke. No one has been consistently more wrong than you. Be happy you can puff up your chest behind a screen because your confidence won’t be nearly as big in person. It’s kinda hilarious so enjoy it. and since I’m the bigger person (both mentally and physically), I will take the high road. But you’re a good homer fan. Zero ability in any real football knowledge but a good fan. I genuinely respect it. Honestly. -
Pats*** finally penalized for taping
C.Biscuit97 replied to Rubes's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Scummy organization but let’s not pretend that’s the reason they have owned us for 15 plus years. also, if this was us, it would be hilarious to see how fans would try to defend this. -
Oh for sure. If Cam plays well for the Pats and shows he’s healthy, he’s going to get paid. It’s a non lose situation for both parties.
-
Do you any link for this? I love the Bills more than life but if I was a slot receiver and the money was equal, there is zero chance I choose Josh Allen over Tom Brady. the Bills always have to over paid.
-
Completely fair and I genuinely hope you are right. I think as Bills fans, we ignore fatal flaws with qbs because we hope for the best rather than look at objectively. That said, Allen is in an amazing situation and I just hope we know if he’s the real deal after next year. I do believe he is a really good dude and hope you are right. But qb is the biggest question mark on this team and every nonBills fan would agree with that.

Haha. I was over the top in my excitement about that team. They were legit good. But, and I mean this as respectfully as possible, you have zero objectivity. -
Should Steve Tasker be in the Hall of Fame?
C.Biscuit97 replied to JetsFan20's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It’s such a tough call. He’s probably never getting in but if STs is a 1/3 of the game, he should. Dude was dominant at what he did. And I met him a few times and it’s absolutely mind blowing that he is a former nfl player and did what he did. Definitely deserves to be on the wall. -
