Deshaun Watson officially requests trade from Houston
C.Biscuit97 replied to Process's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
So what about the billionaire owner who would cut Watson for no money going forward in a second if he gets hurt and valuable to them? Fans who take the owner’s side in nfl contract disputes are strange. In football, you always take the money when you can. It’s too risky not to. But Watson has done everything right and that team has become a joke. -
MVP vote - Josh got 2nd most votes
C.Biscuit97 replied to CorkScrewHill's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
What haha??? This is laughable. Jackson has 4,300 total yards and 43 tds last year. He was well deserving of a MVP. Rodgers 💩 year - 4,000 yards, 26 td to 4 int, 13-3 - is most guys best year. I have no idea what your mahomes point is. the Bills got the most love of any team in the nfl this year. The fact that Allen had more votes than Mahomes is a testament to that. It’s ok to ride for your team and not be completely delusional too. Rodgers completed 70% of his passes, accounted for 51 tds and threw 5 ints. But yeah, it’s huge conspiracy based on storylines. You have a future in politics. 😉 -

I don’t know. I do think there were games where we didn’t really stick with the run. And I’m sure in the beginning other teams wanted to see if Allen could beat them, and when he did, it seemed like we should have been able to run better. Our rbs are very slow. But they averaged 25 ypg more than us on 400 more carries. And before Mahomes, Rodgers was the best pure thrower I’ve ever seen. He blows up no name receivers all the time who do nothing anywhere else - Nelson, Jennings, Randall Cobb, James Jones. All of our core 3 have had really good production on other teams. You don’t think Rodgers would have wanted Diggs instead of some mid range draft pick. I don’t why this board nit picks guys like Rodgers and Mahomes. It’s not very smart. They are some of the best to ever play. And the fact Allen is coming to a point where he can ever be talked about in the same conversation without it being laughable is simply amazing. But there’s work to be down to get to that level. -
Once they won the SB without him, it was never going to work out. I can’t tell with Wentz. He’s the guy who goes from underrated to overrated 50 times a season. I think he is talented but he gets hyped up so much. but it is wild that you go from being a MVP candidate and winning a SB in 3 years to getting rid of your qb and coach. Not For Long. also should be a reminder to the Bills that your SB window can close very fast.

Joe B article speculates John Brown will be cut
C.Biscuit97 replied to DJB's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Brown was absolutely amazing his first year here. But he has really only had two good seasons in his career. When you get good, you have to make tough decisions. For his price, I think you have to let him good. I think injuries are going to be a major concern as he gets older and he is is similar to Diggs size wise than I want to see what Davis does with more chances. it sucks but with Davis and possibly more FAs who might take less now that Allen has established himself, it shouldn’t be that big of a loss. -
Tom Flores inducted in HOF
C.Biscuit97 replied to Ethan in Cleveland's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Why did it take a 2 time winning super bowl coach that long to make it in? I know nothing about Flores but that seems really strange. -
Such a dork. Cousins is like the dorky, boring ex. So easy to follow up a guy like that. Diggs is like Allen isn’t a total nerd. Jefferson was better than pretty good. It was one of the best rookie receiver seasons ever. but it was the ultimate win-win trade. Diggs was absolutely perfect for this team.

Eh. Those guys are elite because of Rodgers. Adam’s was a huge bust his first year as the “guy” and Packers fans wanted to get rid of him. Rbs in GB do great because they have Rodgers. Diggs was a proven commodity that the Bills gave a first round pick for. The Packers have never invested a first round in an offensive skill player in Rodgers whole career. allen had an amazing year but I think it was pretty clear cut Rodgers was the MVP. If Allen has career playoffs stats of 100 QB rating and 49 td to 13 int, but “only” wins one SB like Rodgers, I won’t be blaming Allen. -
This is insane. Allen is way better than I think most people ever thought he would be. But your comments on Mahomes are borderline laughable. allen is the most improved player in the nfl. Mahomes is on track to be the best qb in nfl history. Why are some people trying to tear him down to prop up Allen? It comes across as sour grapes.

I guess. I watched his games against Iowa and Oregon and it looked like every other overhyped guy with all the tools. I still believe that a guy with his talent should dominate a conference like that even if he doesn’t have top talent around him. I would say that if Wilson and Trey Lance had similar stats as Allen in college. I’m giving all the credit in the world to Allen and the Bills because normally guys like this end up being Hackenburg, Jake Locker, or Mallett and not becoming a top 5 qb. It’s truly impressive. But I think the overwhelming evidence is a guy under 60% in college in this era (please don’t post Johnny Utias’ college stats 😆), especially in a conference like the MWC, are never going to be franchise nfl qbs. McBeane are absolute geniuses for finding a unicorn.

Good for anyone making money but he is the worst qb I have ever seen in the nfl. I actually think Jeff Tuel was better.

Tyreek Hill impressed by Justin Zimmer
C.Biscuit97 replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Not sure if he is a full time starter but damn, Zimmer is a baller. Great pick up. -
Eh. I think the Allen prospect fails 99% of the time. McBeane are geniuses for finding a 🦄. I guess a counter could be that with the league rules, the athletic, not completely polished qb has a much better shot of succeeding I guess. But I can’t believe a qb who was meh at Wyoming became a superstar in the nfl. It’s insane and speaks volumes about Allen’s work ethic and the Bills.

Bills TE Lee Smith is contemplating retirement
C.Biscuit97 replied to HOUSE's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I mean haha. Dude made a great living not being really talented. Seems like a great lockerroom guy and I salute him and wish him well. Now can we finally get a real TE here. -
Derek Carr reportedly in demand, could lead to trade
C.Biscuit97 replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
No but I don’t think he’s ever had a really stud, 1st round type talent. He gets the best of journeymen types. Carr is fairly good but there’s just something missing there. I think Watson would be a monster in Vegas and I would draft Ruggs in every fantasy league. -
Because it never happens like that. But of course the Bills should be among the favorites. Fairly young team with a qb who turned into a superstar. I hope they stay hungry because a lot of young teams let stuff go to their heads and never make it back. definitely doesn’t seem like it would be the case with this group.
-
Dude can’t stay healthy and will never live up his draft status. But he was their leading playoff receiver last year and is a threat on the field. He’s been a starter (when healthy) for 3 straight SBs. Shame he is made out of glass. The only slight thing I’ve say to this and it rarely happened this year, but there were a couple of games where you can tell Allen got rattled. It happens to almost every qb except Mahomes because he could be down 35-0 and still might come back.

https://www.google.com/amp/s/fanbuzz.com/high-school/texas-hs-football-coach-salaries/amp/ I think Jon Kitna was making over $100,000 as a coach.

Source: LB Matt Milano looking for “top dollar” in FA
C.Biscuit97 replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I mean he should as all nfl players should. Dude is a baller but he is undersized and injuries will probably always been an issue. When you have good players, you’re going to make some tough decisions. On defense, OLB should be one of the easiest positions to replace. it sucks to lose a playmaker but it’s just going to happen. Great draft pick. -
Haha, probably making double what teachers make.
