I have some burning problems. It started with last night. It goes from the great line from Jack, "this will help with the pain", and the very NEXT SECOND... he is in the treatment room with bandages around his fingers. He is having his head looked at.... what the heck!!! How in the world did all that happen in a few seconds?? Shouldn't he have been still unconscious in the car?? Secondly, what happened to Barooz. Will we ever find out? Thirdly, where is Heller? Is he stuck on the toilet with diarreaha? Someone, please answer these questions for me.

this is a flat-out lie by donohoe
BuckeyeBill replied to dave mcbride's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
There was no lie. TD just didn't want to give up a Probowler for a 4th round pick. I wouldn't blame him. The person who screwed up this deal was TH. If Henry had kept his stupid mouth shut, he would have been traded by now. NO.... the other teams knew full well that TH said he would never come back to Buffalo. With that in mind, other teams tried to make TD their B*%ch. Dear Travis, Thanks Henry. You screwed yourself and you screwed the Bills. I was afraid that it would happen, but thought your talent would get you out of it. Looks like nobody in the league thinks you have any talent at all, or they would have given a 3rd. But nobody in the league wants your piss-poor attitude. Neither do I. -
ESPN's draft coverage grade - F

You could tell that Tory Holt didn't know what he was getting himself into. I guarantee that he will never do that again. It's not worth it! -
Henry shot himself in the foot

Just wish that Travis Henry had the same attitude of Kenny Davis. Kenny Davis had equivalent talent (IMHO) to TH when he was in his prime. Yet Kenny Davis never griped, played his role, and was an integral part of Buffalo during the Superbowl runs. -
The complaint.... why did we take a TE so early? Why when we didn't lose them with Bledsoe? Why when MM didn't use them in Pittsburgh? Why why why? Easy... JP LOSMAN. JP Losman will have a good TE, a playmaking TE... that will help him develop. (a check down guy) We didn't use TE's as much last year, because we didn't play Losman last year. Pittsburgh didn't use TE's as much when MM was there, because they didn't play with Losman. Apparently, the Bills figure that JP will flourish with a speedy slot man and a play-making Tight End. I tend to agree with them. Give them a chance to see if their hunch is right before you start asking WHY WHY... OH GOD WHY. Drive me crazy.

Ignored Major Problem

I don't think our line needs fixing... Neither does McNally and neither does TD. -
Interesting Post on the Bills and LT position
BuckeyeBill replied to N.Y. Orangeman's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I can see it now... Tackle Elligible Jason Peters. JP takes the snap, Peters leaves his left tackle position and goes out for the pass. JP hands the ball off to our Speedy Roscoe Parrish who runs to the right faster than any corner on the other team... everyone is pursuing him... he stops, then using his Quarterback skills he had in High School, throws the ball back to JP who has sense used his speed to set up a nice lateral across the field. JP drills a pass to Peters who is now running his way to a touchdown. I can imagine can't I? -

Clarrett will be a very good runningback. He could be the next in line to be a 1000 yard back for Denver, as Tory Holt said on Draft Day. I wouldn't be surprised. Shanahan sees something in Clarrett and I bet that he had him spotted before the draft even began. -
Clayton Rips Into TD...Again
BuckeyeBill replied to BillsGuyInMalta's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Clayton is a jerk who is jealous. Which job would you prefer, TD's or Claytons. Clayton also doesn't know what he is talking about. I trust TD in this situation with Henry. -
I agree. I think that TH services as a solid backup runningback. It's sad that other teams don't see him as the Pro-bowl running back that his is. TH certainly has something to prove.

Gotta love speed. I would love to see a race between Evans and Parrish. I say that Evans with that race, but it will be a close one.

Travis Henry STILL A BILL is GREAT NEWS!
BuckeyeBill replied to NavyBillsFan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I have to believe that TD knows what he is doing. Because right now I am only left scratching my head. But I was scratching my head (with the rest of you) with the McGahee pick too. Don't forget that. -
TD always wants to get a playmaker in his first overall pick. With only MW as the exception. I believe he did that in Roscoe. He must also feel very comfortable with Teague moving over to LT this year, or he would have bitten on the Arizona trade.

Just be lucky you have the opportunity to hear him. I'm here watching the 15 seconds of EPSN over and over again on my VCR.

Parrish grades outstanding per espn.
BuckeyeBill replied to jc707270's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
With all due respect... I think that TD does pretty good on picking unconventional picks. Except it shows that he has no faith is the guy he chose 3 years ago as a Wideout... namely Josh Reed. -

All we need is another reciever. We can only keep so many of them. -
I have to wonder why we picked a return guy when we have guys like Fast Freddie (1TD) and McGee (3TDs) returning the ball. That isn't even to mention Clements. Does TD think that Parrish can step in a be an amazing slot receiver. That's what I'm thinking. But why do you need an all pro wideout like Moulds, a fantastic 2nd receiver in Evans, and an amazing slot receiver.... when we are a RUN RUN RUN football team?
-
I am going to have to agree with that latter.
-
I have to think that Reed and Aiken both are seeing their last chance this year to stay in Buffalo. I really would not be suprised to see Reed gone, and very soon.

Not what was low.

LOVE THISSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS PICK!!!!
BuckeyeBill replied to ROSCOE P. COE TRAIN's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Gotta have faith in TD. I just remember 2 years back, when everyone was calling for his head when he selected McGahee.. Be patient. This will make sense.... just not right now. Especially with the TH situation. But I have faith in TD. -
Now there is a cornerback who is getting paid even more. Grr.... Nate is going to hit the jackpot next year. And I don't think it will be with the Bills.

What a worthless piece of garbage this person is. She needs some major help and counselling when she is released from prison. I just hope that is a long time from now. -

So, am I right in saying that the highest paid Buffalo Bill is Mike Williams. There is something wrong there. -
Your offensive and defensive ROY
BuckeyeBill replied to MartyBall4Buffalo's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I could see someone like Mark Clayton becoming ROY if he is in the right system. Of course Braylon and Williams could be too. Don't be surprised if the ROY is one of the 3 running backs too.. For defense, I'm thinking one of the elite corners. I think that someone will snag 7-8 picks and be named DMVP. If not, that Texas linebacker looks pretty good. But who am I to guess. I would have never thought Rothlisberger would do as great as he did.
