Be definition, if a theory has a hole in it... something that disproves it, then it can't be a theory. It is only a hypothesis. I don't respect saying that the existence of God is "crap". That's rude and ignorant.

Don't forget to not let ignorance be your achilles heal. I truly believe in God, who created the Heavens and the Earth according to the Genesis passage... I believe that as strongly as anyone can believe anything. But I also teach science, I teach evolution. The theory that things change over time is not to contrary to the Bible (which I try to read everyday). Do you think that Noah brought every single type or breed of cat in the world on his ark? No, I think he probably brought one type of cat... and through evolution over the past thousands of years, all the cat species developed. Evolution is a very well substantiated theory, and many parts I agree with strongly. The fact that God exists does not disprove evolution, and the fact that things change over time does not disprove the existence of God. Microevolution is well supported, I agree with it. Macroevolution... the theory that goo all of a sudden became bacteria which all of a sudden became a fish... which all of a sudden became a monkey... which all of a sudden became a man. I don't agree with that. No evidence to support it. But if you study evolution, it has a lot more to it than just the previous paragraph... which I do not believe in. Be informed, you are on the winning side of this debate, but be informed as well.

I had a friend... who went to the opening night showing of Empire Strikes Back! He remembers clearly, a kid came out of the movie theater... and in ear shot of all the people in line said, "I can't believe Darth Vader is Luke's father" Sounds like a false story... but according to him, it's true. I would have killed that kid! I bet that some people in line wanted to.

I'm a fan of House, The Shield, and 24. 24 is the best of the 3, but I've always been a fan of the Shield. House is growing on me. I absolutly LOVE the main character!

Sure, I listen to Ann Coulter semi-frequently. She is regularly facetious (sp?) and says things that she doesn't mean. This is a common thing. She'll say, "I sooo enjoyed Clinton as our President"... rolling her eyes. Someone taking that quote, changing it to show that Coulter truly enjoyed having Clinton as our commander in chief is out of context.

Wow, I'm in complete disagreement with this. 1- We ended last year 7-1 (would have been 8-0 if Lindell doesn't miss from 28yds) 2- We have one of the best coaching staffs in the league (MM TC JG) 3- We have the number 1 special teams 4- We have the number 2 defense (2 consecutive years) 5- We have one of the best runningbacks in the league 6- We have one of the best widerecieveing duos in the league 7- We have the best offensive line coach in the league in McNally 8- We don't have a terribly difficult schedule 9- We have a quarterback with great skills and a work ethic I haven't seen in anyone in a while. 10- We didn't lose anybody besides overrated JJ and Phat Pat. How in the world does that make us a run of the mill 15th place team? I also don't agree with New Orleans, and New England should not be number 1 after losing 2/3 of their brain-trust.

Now THAT would be somebody I respect!

That is what will make the different. Few quarterbacks have had the coaches like JP has. People that have became Hall-of-Famers... and I think that JP has even a better work ethic than some of them.

I would have a problem with a teacher condemning the kid for what she believed, making her embarrassed in front of the entire class... and leaving with tears in her eyes. If a teacher called a student a fag and it caused what I just wrote. You bet I'd have a problem with that.

NO. Star Wars ROCKS!!! I'm gonna buy my tickets early. It's only rated PG for a reason. There is more violence in some cartoons.

Sometimes students don't have a choice. They have to take a specific course at a specific time...like my fiancee'. She took at Theater course... according to the course registration description and syllabus it was going to study theater, plays, movies, etc. Sounds like fun, right? It was required, and she was looking forward to it. Her professor turned out to be a shameless homo-sexual. He forced his students to watch basically pornographic sex scenes between two men; then afterwards asked the students (especially the ones who were struggling... like my fiancee') why they were squirming during the sex scenes. When my fiancee' was cornered by the teacher in the middle of class for her opinion. She answered that she didn't feel it was appropriate and she believed that homosexuality was a choice. The teacher attacked her so hard, embarrassed her... mocked her viewpoint... and after the class was over, she came to me and was crying... bawling. This teacher even questioned the sexuality of one of his students in the middle of class. I don't care if you are a liberal, a conservative, a homosexual, or straight... if you attack someone visciously for what they think... what they morally believe, I have a problem with that!
