  1. 1) The Bible. 2) Confession has nothing to do with a priest, it has to do with Christ. The Bible says that no one is good, not even one. (Bible) The Greek has not been changed. 3) I completely agree. It's about a relationship with Jesus, not about church attendance.
  2. I guarantee he said that all in 10 seconds or less.
  3. No flames, just I disagree... and when the Bills make the playoffs you will be cheering with me. Let's look at those teams you listed... New England... yes still the class of the AFC, but they lost both coordinators, which I truly believe will mean an extra 3-4 losses. I look at them to be 11-5 or 10-6 this year, but to still make the playoffs. IF... Buffalo can beat them once, I see the Bills having the tie-breaker. Pittsburgh... will drop this year to about the 11 to 10 win range as well. Rothlisberger will hit a little bit of a Sophomore slump, but not badly. The defense will not be number 1 this year... but I still predict them to win their division. Indy should be just like last year and win their division. (12-4) San Diego should be very good this year and win their division as well. (11-5) Baltimore- Still need a quarterback. (9-7) Jacksonville- Still inconsistent with the big money on the table (8-8) Kansas City- Still needs a defense (8-8) Jets-Curtis Martin will not run as well as he did last year, and Lamont Jordan will hurt them more than anyone thinks. I don't see Coles as a big of a playmaker as Moss. (8-8) Bengals-Also inconsistent, but improving. (9-7) I predict the Bills at 11-5. (I guessed 10-6 last year and ended up 1 game off, because I didn't forsee us starting 0-4). Fact is, NO CHANCE do we start out 0-2 this year, let alone 0-4. If we end up 11-5 or even 10-6, I see us in the playoffs, and our first playoff game at the Ralph. I don't see us winning one of the top two slots though. And we will celebrate together.
  4. What did you think about how last night's show ended? My jaw dropped open... I didn't see that one coming. I love being suprised (and is why I refuse to watch previews from the show next week... and ignore them all throughout the week). Audrey going after Jack when he has that gun pointed at the surgeon... Jack working to help Paul... Paul dying, that look from Audrey to Jack... screaming "I hate you!" Then the amazing acting on Keifer's face during the final seconds of that episode. This is why I LOVE 24!!!
  5. They don't write it on the fly, but I think they are given creative liscence.. and have from the beginning of season 1. I would have to assume that they are given a SKELETON of a script... basically what needs to happen, when, what time the MAJOR plot points need to take place... etc. But what they do to fill in that gap they can be creative with. I think they have been doing a heck of a job with that too.
  6. It's gonna be hard to correct all of the misconceptions. Evangelis are NOT evil, some are hypocrites and don't represent Christ well. Christianity is NOT violent, the BASIS of Christianity is love your enemies and turn the other cheek. Muslims ARE unstable, they don't believe thier God cares about them on a personal level. Judaism is more like Catholism... don't confuse ALL Christianity with Catholism. Organized religion is a problem, but don't throw out the baby with the bathwater. *There is ONE God (whether you accept it or not is fact). *You can NOT shape your life to appease God, he must shape it for you. *Heaven is real and for those who have accpeted Christ (another fact whether you believe it or not)
  7. Williams has had his growth stunted a little bit. Incompetant coaches coaching him his first year... his grandmother dying messed him up a little too. I can see Williams moving over to Left Tackle next year. And it is next year that I can perceive of us making our Superbowl run, not this year. Not to mean that if we somehow MADE the Superbowl, I wouldn't be jumping up and down... I'm just trying to be a little realistic here.
  8. I'm liking what I have read about MW so far. Sure he is the highest paid player on our team (something is wrong there), but I can see him dominating this year just like he did in college. Good for you Mike!!
  9. Um... gay republicans are quite rare. You want a homosexual... try a different party.
  10. I would stand in line to vote against Brady.
  11. Why would you want an overrated player like Shockey on your team when you have a player with possibly more potential in Everett? He's faster and bigger. Shockey would be a pain... nothing more.
  12. JP is just SICK AND TIRED of being compared to RJ. So, he wanted to give us a glimpse into his past to make himself different from RJ. I think that comparisons are driving him crazy... that's all.
  13. Are you referrring to Ken O'Brien.
  14. I don't know how good Josh Reed is on special teams. If he works well in Special teams, I think he has a chance to stay. But if not, and he hurts us AT ALL financially, TD will cut the chord on the kid. It's sad but necessary.
  15. Makes me think that we are going to become a pass first team. EM, LE, RP, and KE... those are all playmakers. With JP having the "real" threat of running the ball and not even mentioning Willis. Pass first.. run second. Reminding me of the SuperBowl Bills. Let's hope it pans out that way. Does anybody know how well Parrish blocks??
  16. Just when you think that TH can't get dumber, he gets dumber. Why in the world did he not show up. He is ruining his value as a player... nobody will want him as a back up, let alone an every down back. I wonder what Travis Henry got on his Wonderlick.
  17. I wouldn't be surprised if these were Parrish's stats. Game 1 - 2 catches for 5 yards 0TD Game 2- 0 catches Game 3- 1 catch for 8 yards 0TD Game 4- 6 catches for 134 yards and 2TD I don't see him as a consistent production guy (like Moulds). I see him have stretches where is only the decoy for EM and LE. But I see that game... when he dominates and we win because of his playmaking ability. Or, I don't see Parrish as a guy we can ride to the Superbowl, but if we did make it there, my money would be on him to get MVP of that game.
  18. How in the world does Henry think that he is more valuable than Shaun Alexander. He's not even in the same league. Henry should be content, and hope for 3 million a year. He won't get anymore than that.
  19. To be honest... I cringe when Lindell lines up for the PAT. I hate having NO CONFIDENCE in our kicker at all.
  20. I can't stand Wideouts like Keyshawn Johnson and others who choose numbers ouside of the 80s. It just doesn't seem right. I hope that Parrish doesn't keep 11 as his number. That would take some MAJOR getting used to.
  21. I don't think that it was a huge mistake that TH is still on our team. He still has value, he still can play... and I truly believe that he will still be traded. Just because the trade doesn't have anything to do with the 2005 draft, doesn't mean a draft pick would not be included. Runningbacks get injured all the time. Someone somewhere will get hurt, and look at Buffalo with a probowl runningback available for a 2nd or 3rd round pick. They will bite. We will get a much better deal than if we had dealt with Arizona. Now I am a little shocked that nothing happened during the draft (since 3 teams were very much interested... or they said they were), but I'm not hurt that nothing happened. People need to be more patient. By the way... do I get a reward for post number 500?
  22. Since my firewall blocked that one... I don't think it was a JP picture. I might be wrong. Hmm...
  23. Where in the world did this "black" quarterback thing come from. Will racism ever die? It makes me sick. I didn't even think about it until reading this tread. Were people upset that JPL was white when drafted?? If you excuse me... I'm gonna throw up now.
  24. I guess Shane Matthews won this in a lock. Doesn't surprise me. Get someone who is talented, servicable, but won't complain about being 3rd on the depth chart. That's difficult in today's NFL.
  25. That is a little ironic... That would have been if like former WR Brad Lamb were to join the Lions. Or if a Native American were to join the Cowboys. Or if a good person joined the Dolphins.
