  1. Congratulations!!!
  2. I guess I ignored the "don't ask me how" part. I apologize. I still don't see that happening any more than us ending up with Braylon Edwards.
  3. How do you think he will pull that off? Give up a pick in next year's draft??
  4. I would love to see us draft someone like Matt Jones. I don't think it's going to happen. We already have one freak that we are trying to place, I don't think that TD will want another.
  5. Because I live in Ohio, I can only go to one game a year... that was one of the games I went to. I was so pumped... jumping up and down. Giving high fives to drunk people I didn't even know. HAHAHA
  6. I was 9 or 10. Monday Night football. Buffalo verses Denver. Amazed at how big and how loud Rich Stadium was. I remember seeing John Elway, and wondering why everyone was booing him, because I liked John Elway. I remember Jim Kelly throwing the ball, amazed that each pass was caught, because I was still learning how to catch a football myself, and I would drop quite a few. We lost that game, but it was still an amazing experience.
  7. To further the pitcher analogy, it is safe to say that Henry is like a pitcher who throws a ton of strikes and has a great ERA but commits way too many errors, can't field all that well, doesn't strike out enough batters, and sometimes gives up untimely homeruns which keeps him just a very good or good player from being a great player, which people who quote his strike throwing and ERA often wrongly state that he is. 295107[/snapback] Great analogy. I never thought about it that way, but I think you are right on.
  8. Amazing.... Cardinal fans to exist. Watch for TH to be a major mistake for the Cards. They need him, and they will bow to TD's request to switch seconds. He will be a bust on that sorry team. Hope they won't be reading this.
  9. Everyone forgets about the most important part of our line. No, it's not the players. It's not the left tackle or center. It's our coach, McNally. With McNally at control, I'm not scared about our line at all. He will make us very good there... no need to panic.
  10. Right on... People always seem to be disappointed with the person that TD drafts. Reed (which he had no clue woudn't step up... but knowing the Peerless situation, he made the right call), McGahee (definitely the right call) and Losman (again, the right call). Everyone seemed to be calling for his head when he made those picks. But he knew what he was doing, and was proven correct later. I would not be surprised if he took a CB or the best player on the board (regardless of the position). In a weird way, I would actually be surprised to see him take an offensive Lineman. Look for that NOT to happen
  11. No question do I think that TT can play LT. I think that he is one of the few linemen who can literally play at EVERY SINGLE POSITIONS and do fairly well. He would do fairly well at LT. Maybe not the best, but he would not be a bust. He did block as LT on a dang good Denver Bronco rushing attack team too, don't forget that. I am sure he hasn't gotten any worse.
  12. Very well deserving. I think he did a better job than any Special Team Coach in memory.... EVER. He took an average Special Teams unit, and made it the best... BY FAR!! Way to go BA
  13. Now you're dreaming... But.... Can I join you on that dream... please?
  14. The signing of Anderson leads me to believe strongly that TD is planning for the LJ Shelton thing to not go through. Especially with Green saying recently that he by no means is going to swap 2nd round picks with Buffalo. I think that the chances of LJ Shelton coming to Buffalo just dropped below 50%. 50% chance that Green will bend, 0% chance that TD will bend. Teague is a very good lineman, and if he was playing Left Tackle for Denver a few years back (one of the best lines in recent memory), he will do good in our system too. Obviously we are going to be a RUN FIRST team... Teague will be very good at run blocking from the Tackle position (as he was with Denver). Now we will be drafting a Center in the draft (one of the deepest at that position in recent memory). When we do, we will have quality depth, with a quality line. L.J. Shelton is not needed now, so if TD does manage to get him that's a bonus, but it is not a necessity like a RB in Arizona is.
  15. Famous deaths always occur in 3s, right? 1. Terri Shiavo 2. Frank Perdue 3. ??? The Pope Maybe??
  16. Antowain Smith.... nobody could run a single yard, and then dive for another one with such consistency. LOL
  17. TD is playing this deal right. Travis Henry is a Probowl Running back, we deserve more than just a possible decent Left Tackle, especially when we already have two possibly decent left tackles. I figure that ARZ will cave in, when they realize that if they draft a running back, they won't get their corner that they covet. TD's patience will prevail over ARZ's greed.
  18. No chance. Edgar was the one who stopped 99% of the powerplants from melting down. His mom died in the 1 that did. No chance is he working for the terrorists. There's a greater chance that Curtis is than Edgar.
  19. Very good job defending our line. Nicely done.
  20. I would agree IF Henry hadn't bashed the Bills so much. But because he did... LET THE BASHING CONTINUE!!
  21. He didn't get them to the Superbowl, true true. But he didn't LOSE them any games all year long. No Pittsburgh fan can blame either of their two losses on the shoulders of Rothlisberger. You can't say the same for Bledsoe. What we need from JP, is what Pittsburgh got from Rothlisberger... a guy who will make a few plays, keep the defense honest for a great rushing attack, and most importantly NOT LOSE THE GAME.
