Donahoe is a big stingy, but his genius offsets that. -

You are crazy. Great teams are built on defense. Chiefs have one of the worst in the league. -
Not happy with the TH for LJ trade!

HOLY CRAP!!!!

Yeah, I forgot to say. WOW, Mickey... had a little bit of too much time on your hand eh? But good post. I give you kudos!!

I agree that you really can't compare college stats with pro stats. The Tulane defense sucked something fierce; JP comes in to the Bills, where he has (arguably... and I would argue) the best defense and the best special teams in football (if you gave us a new kicker). In Tulane he had to win the games, in Buffalo, he will only have to not lose them. Bledsoe (although I love the guy... I truly do) lost games for us. I'm especially thinking about that Baltimore game, whereafter I wanted to curse Bledsoe out. JP has shown the nack to come from behind, JP has shown the nack to play when things are not going well, JP has shown that he can actually run. I am most afraid of his fumbles. I have to think that there are too many there. Maybe that was because he had such a porous line with the Green Wave. I am excited about JP though. Really excited!!!

ANYONE BUT Kordell please.

Hey, Mickey since you don't have patience, why don't you root for a different team. The Patriot band-wagon is big enough for complainers like you.

Way too quick to play the blame game on TD. Football is a game of steps, not jumping up to the top with one leap. Bledsoe allowed us to move from 3-13 (at best) to 9-7 (at worst). Bledsoe did part of what he came here for, to be a quarterback... a good one... when we were thinking about going full time with Van Pelt. He brought us excitement, and that excitement brought in players (Milloy, Vincient, Spikes, Adams). The other part was to take us to the playoffs, which he couldn't do and therefore meant his way out. Henry is a different story. He was a good back, pro-bowler... and could have played out a decent career in Buffalo. I imagine that he would have retired after 10-12 years, have 13000 yards with a good amount of touchdowns to boot. He was a good pick. McGahee however, could very well be the best runningback in this generation. I'm not saying that he is, but he COULD BE. When TD saw how good WM could be, it was too much of a temptation than to stick with what TH probably would have been. Plus, we are due to get something out of TH via trade. Probably a second round pick. Who knows what that could turn out to be. Mike Williams has been disappointing, but I think that is because our offensive line coaches sucked. McNally has started to bring this diamond out of his rough. Give Williams a year or two more to prove himself to you. He could be the real deal, and worth every penny of his number 4 overall draft pick. Be patient. I think that Lee Evans will be great. Perhaps superceeding the greatness of Moulds one day. Josh Reed has been a bust. I just think he was a phenom in college that TD thought would transfer over, and worth a second round pick to achieve. Not a bad pick, but not a very good one either. The jury is still out on Denney and Kelsay. I think that TD has done an exceptional job since coming to Buffalo. If JP turns out to be the next Jim Kelly, then he may very well be the best General Manager/President we ever had. Just be patient, and see what happens.

Just stay away from Kordell Stewart and I'll be happy.

It hurts that Sarah suffered. Does anybody else have a new almost love for Sara now? Could that mean that she is a spy too? Remember in season one when Nina was... kinda shot... we thought, she is innocent no way she is bad if the bad guys want her dead. Immediately, we grew to like her and love her more. Great time to make her evil. Could the same thing happen to Sara??
-
I don't believe she is dead. I might be wrong, but I would be shocked. How could the blast kill her and not even give a scratch to... um... what's his name? The ugly guy who slept with her.

I'm a High School teacher and I talked to a lot of my students about the Superbowl today. (They are well aware of the fact that I am a football nut). When I asked who a person was rooting for, if they said Patriots... I asked two simple questions. "Why?" Then I asked a question, "Name two players on the Patriots." Do you know that nobody could answer both questions? The answer to "why" was "They're cool" or "They win" or "Their quarterback is hott (yuck)" or "I like them." Never a good answer like, I was born there, or my parents follow them, or I've liked them for a while, or I like any particular player." No, all stupid answers. The second question, "naming players"... most students could barely remember Brady, and that's it. My point, I hate these New Englander bandwagon fans. So fickle. I remember bandwagon fans during the Bills Superbowl runs, but they were gone the day after the Superbowl. The true fans came out when the team loses. New England doesn't lose, so true fans can't show their colors. I even have to wonder how many of the people on this board, (who claim to be Pasty fans) are truly fans. I had a friend in college, who truly loved the Patriots. He was a true fan, liked them when they sucked, liked them when they won. I haven't been in contact with him, but a part of me (please know it is very small) is happy for him. He is a true fan! How many of these posters... really are??? My question: If YOU (reading this now) are a New England fan. WHY? Give me a legit reason. If you are NOT a New England fan, tell me why you support the Bills or whatever team you like. "Personally, I love the Bills because I grew up in Buffalo, went to see Jerry Butler speak when very young at some church. I wanted to be a football player just like him. I always idolized Jim Kelly, and cried when he could never win the big one. I moved from Buffalo, but my love for the Bills remained. I say those are legit reasons. Now it's your turn. Let's see some posts here. (Especially you New England fans)

Intersesting take on the Super Bowl
BuckeyeBill replied to rastabillz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yeah the Patriots do play boring football. They are anything BUT exciting. Their uniforms hurt your eyes after a while, but they win. People love winners no matter how they win. Bandwagons are always big when the team wins, regardless of how they do it. -

Tedy Bruschi vs Lawyer Milloy

LOL LOL LOL Brady is good because of his system. Put him on any other team... The reason WHY Brady does NOT make Manning-like money is because he KNOWS he is not as good as everyone says. I wish and pray that he goes to some scrub team, sign a HUGE contract, and struggle. Then who is the best Quarterback in football??? -
My Predictions For The Bills In 05
BuckeyeBill replied to Bill from NYC's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Why does everyone think that JP will get injured, and that he is injury prone. For the love, wasn't it Troy Vincient who broke his leg? That's no joke of a player to do that. Was he injury prone in college? Why does everyone think that he will get injured? Just wondering... I think that one of the two (JJ or PW) will stay. Both won't be able to, unless both are unselfish. Not likely. Bledsoe I see as inconsistent (why there are so many haters) but anything BUT selfish. I see him staying here if the Bills allow him to stay without a paycut. I think Bledsoe could be a good mentor for JP personally. -

With all due respect, McNabb is an inconsistent quarterback. At times he looks like he should be on the bench (3 INT), and then other times he looks like a Probowler (300+ yards and 3 TDS). He is inconsistent, but he doesn't suck. I wish that Bledsoe had fared that well against New England with 300 yards and 3TDs. About their coordinator, they have PASS PASS PASSed all year. They only really lost one game with that philosophy. Don't change it when the Superbowl comes around. The O Coordinator didn't lose the game. The turnovers did. Regarding the arm flapping, it just shows that New England has no respect for ANYBODY. Including themselves. I would rather the Bills NEVER win a Superbowl, then win them the disrespectful was that the Patsies did last night.

I was pleasantly surprised w/ Bledsoe's 04 play
