From the teacher's reaction, I have to think that this kid must have done it again and again... the teacher called home... they cussed her out.... then the kid kept clogging the toilet again and again. Then on one bad day, the teacher snapped and made the student try to unclog the toilet. (Not in front of the entire class and not by herself) I bet the teacher was just trying to teach the student that it is disgusting and what the teacher has to go through. I would be in complete support of the teacher... except that the kid is only 5 years old. A little too young to be helping the teacher unclog toilets I think.

It would break my heart to lose Clements. Just like it broke my heart when we lost Winfield. Clements is the playmaker... the type of guy who can make that one play that wins the game for us. Even with our amazing defense, there are few MAJOR play makers. (TKO is one however). Clements is very valuable to us, but knowing TD, I would be shocked to see him as a Bill for the '06 season. He won't be worth what other teams will be willing to pay for him. Breaks my heart, but it's gonna happen. If we somehow DO keep NC, then that will prove me that TD thinks that we are ready to make our Superbowl run. Obviously, with our key losses this year, he doesn't think our run will be THIS year.

I don't see anything changing with PW gone. Ron Edwards will fill in his role, without a hic-up. For some reason, people can't see that. You will in 6 months though.

Very good post. I don't think that TD has made many mistakes at all in evaluating player talent. I can't say the same about evaluating coaches (GW and Killdrive come to mind). If you were to grade TD at his job of drafting well, manipulating the draft to help us; attracting the right free agents; cutting (or not overpaying) the players who really did need to move on... he deserves the grade of A+. As for evaluating coaches... C- for the first round... and too early to grade the second round. So many people say that TD is not getting players who can win championships. That's not the case. I think that with effective coaching, we could have won a championship... look what happened last year. We would have been in the playoffs... and one of the hottest teams in the playoffs if Lindell knew how to kick and Bledsoe didn't panic when things went badly. This post just aids and confirms the grade of A+ for player evaluation that I have given TD.

Am I wrong, or has JP basically done everything right during this offseason? I just hope that translates into a player who knows what he is doing come Sunday afternoons at the Ralph. But working with Lee is a great start. Maybe next month he will work with EM

Without a doubt you did the right thing. Your "star" player, if she quits when there is adversity... for something she did that was wrong... it is just a sign of things to come. She may be a "star" but in life, she will only be known as a quitter. Stick to your guns. You are the kind of coach that soccer and every other sport needs desperately.

This is rediculous. NO kid has ever gotten fat because a puppet pretends to eat cookies. I'd like to see the research or give me a quote about Johnny X who got fat because he wanted to be like Cookie Monster. Give me a break. Makes me sick. I think Cookie Monster should eat more, not less. Kids like Cookie Monster because he is unrealistic. Now they are making him healthy and boring. I would tend to agree, but I don't think we are looking for a Special Teamer. Our Special Teams are Number 1 in the league. What we need is an emergency back that can take 15-20 carries a game in addition to Shaud Williams if WM goes down (God forbid). Hearst is exactly that back. In addition, I believe that once you have the "Big Play Capability" you will always have that. Hearst has shown that "big play capability". If we can get a former pro-bowl running back, at or near the league minimum to back up Willis... no question... I'd sign him. But then again, I'm not TD.

I tend to think that TD will take the BPA. However, who will the Best Cornerback be when the Bills are drafting #44 (yes I think we will pick at 44). Will he be a person worthy to choose over a stud Lineman like Baas or Spencer?? If you think the Bills go Corner... who do you think they take?

A living person is anything with active brain waves and a beating heart. Too many people are considered "unviable tissue mass" and it is a travesty.
