I've tried that in recent years and no, it didn't work out. It was better to purchase sooner and not have to stress about it. That's what I did for this coming season. Now if you're the type to wait until the morning of gameday to see if some people desperately need to unload their tix for cheaper then that might work. But for me to save $50 or whatever, I'd just rather have the tickets well in advance.
-
Tickets were very expensive on the secondary market last year too. They've steadily gone up as the Bills have become a perennial contender. Fans from all over hear about the tailgates, the Mafia, etc.. and want to experience a game in Buffalo. It's a bucket list kind of thing for opposing fans too. I thought my best chance to get a decent price was the New Orleans game.. but that's not the case. It's really the only Sunday afternoon daylight game when the weather is still decent. There's a big demand despite the opponent not being the greatest or a rival. I feel like i got a good price paying nearly $500 total for two lower level corner tix.

Buffalo Bills 2025 Regular Season Schedule
zow2 replied to Sierra Foothills's topic in The Stadium Wall
Ha, I said the same thing last season. It's hard to beat the really good teams like KC and Baltimore twice in a season. And it's equally hard for those teams to beat Buffalo twice in a season. -
If KC goes 6-3 or better in their first 9 games, they will lock #1 seed again. The second half of their season is way easier than the first half.

Buffalo Bills 2025 Regular Season Schedule
zow2 replied to Sierra Foothills's topic in The Stadium Wall
Some friends are telling me the schedule is so light that those last couple games won't even matter, they will be resting people. I disagree. This is the year they need to gun for the #1 seed. It's the best chance to get to a Super Bowl. No playoff road games. -
Another one - Trey Hendrickson asks for a trade from Cincy
zow2 replied to Roundybout's topic in The Stadium Wall
The Bengals need to make the best trade they can and deal him. The relationship is fractured. -
No travel excuses this year! i don’t care how many teams they play off their bye weeks
-
I hope the Bills three games vs AFC heavyweights (KC, Baltimore, Cinci) are more in the front half of the schedule. I don't like playing these teams in the playoffs shortly after the regular season meeting.

Maybe it's a little wishful thinking but I watch a lot of Maryland games (that's another story).....and I always thought Prather looked like one of those players that would perform better in the NFL than college football. Kind of like Dawson Knox in way, just didn't have that many opportunities in college but when his number was called he made the play and looked very smoothe doing it.

Malaki Starks wants to pick off Josh Allen most
zow2 replied to PromoTheRobot's topic in The Stadium Wall
If he picks off Josh Allen he will act like he's some masterful player. If he does not pick off Allen, there are no stories written and there is no accountability. Seems like a win-win to say it. -
I long for the days of haggling with DirecTv over pricing for the upcoming season. I practically had a script year after year lol. Now it's just bend over and take the price.

I heard Beane on one of his many interviews recently. I forget which media this was with but the interviewer was really pressing him on James Cook. Beane just calmly shut it down and said..."Look, James Cook is our running back. He's under contract and he will be playing for the Buffalo Bills this season. There's nothing else to talk about". It does not sound like Beane is entertaining all the off the field nonsense that Cook and his team are putting out there.

Oh yeah, Erie County is littered with flea bag motels. I’m sure the draftniks from Sheboygan will love it.
-
Apparently the only cities to bid for the 2027 draft were Washington DC and Denver. So I'm not really sure what the appetite is for NFL teams/cities to host this event? I suspect that by 2030, Buffalo will want to host the draft with the new stadium being the centerpiece. Being a longtime member of the league, the NFL will throw them a bone.
-
I've thought the same. The weather in Buffalo in April sucks. So much chilly rain flows across Lake Erie, it will be 75 and Sunny in DC and 48 and rainy in WNY on the same day. I personally don't think every city in the NFL "deserves" the draft. Green Bay looked nothing special to me,, they set up a stage in a parking lot, whooopeee. Keep it in the big cities.

The sports gods throwing a bone to Buffalo by giving them an indoor lacrosse dynasty.

Set up at the National Mall.

It often seems like when one team tries to copy someone else.. in this case the Bills trying to duplicate what the Eagles did to Mahomes, it fails. In large part because Mahomes/Reid will come up with new schemes to offset what the Eagles did. And we don't have the same personnel no matter how it looks on paper.
-
Yeah let's just make a SB before we debate who raises the trophy first,

I used to listed to Jeremy and Howard about a decade ago. I found Jeremy to be one those Mr. Know-it-all types where his opinion is the only opinion. He's obnoxious with that. I was happy to see Beane make him uncomfortable and defensive.
-
Interesting that they have renderings as I didn't think they even hired an architectural firm yet. Terrible area that will need to be modernized and made safer...but the stadium looks very cool and will cost billions when it's all said and done.
-
Very true, but KC had a really tough defense last season. I'd say in both KC games, the Bills moved the ball against the Chiefs better than any other club all season.
-
I think it's fine for the moment. But he should spend a few fun weekends with her before football season starts and then move on. It's clear that from seeing her strutting around on the UNC practice field with a clipboard and controlling his interviews that she's becoming his influencer. As Bill ages and he gets in deeper with this relationship, she will get more controlling and things will go bad for him and those close to him.
-
I think Beane has had enough from those WGR clowns. He popped off a bit but I didn't think he was out of line. Media and fans ripped the Bills WR corp last summer and they led the league in points. I mean that is something to be proud of. At this point Beane and McD are trying their best to tweak this club into a Super Bowl berth. It's tough. Maybe they are willing to sacrifice 5% of offense production to get 10% more defensive production. They see what we see. It doesn't always have to be the offense to make a play at the end of a KC game. Maybe the defense can make a play.
